Since 2002, an autonomous non-profit organization has been conducting classes in our school
Synthesis-studio “MOST” (“Youth Association of the Most Talented”),
providing services in the field of additional education for children.
History of the studio
Synthesis-studio “MOST” began its activity in 2002 as a small home project with a folklore program, which was attended not only by the little participants of the Studio, but also by their teachers.
In the 2003-2004 academic year, the main emphasis was placed on the stage of the 50-60s – these are the songs of the youth of our grandmothers (“Black Cat”, “The sailor waddled ashore”, “Rainy Evening”, “Old Maple”).
And, of course, vocal and instrumental works by world famous performers: The Beatles “And I love her”, Elvis Presley “Love me tender, Love me sweet”, Frank Sinatra “Strangers in the night”, Louis Armstrong “Mack The Knife “. That is, as you can see, there is experience in performing songs in English.
This year this theme will be continued.
Last year, the Studio prepared a more serious program – the musical “Girl from the North”. The musical was based on pop music and a number of instrumental compositions in jazz performance. Moreover, the soloists of the musical are children aged 7 to 9 years old, who have been studying with us for 2-3 years. After watching our performance, you can see for yourself how much these little children can do.
The studio practices new forms of music lessons. Last year, for the first time, we held open lessons for grades 3 and 4 of school No. 1, covering the theory and history of jazz, of course, with instrumental accompaniment.
We also have interesting and useful leisure activities on weekends not only for children, but also for their parents. Almost all Studio participants attend once a month exciting excursions organized in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and music classes “Music from A to Z” in the Big Concert Hall “Oktyabrsky”.
In addition, the students of the Studio attend various theatrical performances, including those in which their teachers take part. We think the benefits of such an organization of family leisure are obvious.
Basic principles of the studio
First of all, the main advantage of the Studio is a wide range of subjects studied: music, vocals, dances, performing arts, plastic arts, artistic development, etc. Moreover, each object does not exist on its own, separately, all objects are interconnected, it turns out a kind of synthesis of all types of art, which is the main idea of the Studio. At the end of the year, everything is combined into a theatrical action: in our case, as a rule, these are musicals, musical stories, performances, because music is the main direction of our Studio.
The Studio focuses on contemporary art (variety, jazz, rock and roll), but does not forget the classics. This year, for example, a musical program is being prepared dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the great Austrian composer V.
A. Mozart, which is planned to be shown in the music and secondary schools of Kommunar, Pavlovsk and Pushkin.
The basis of the Studio is professional teachers with extensive experience in working with children of different age groups, both in public and private educational institutions. The Studio also attracts young professionals with great creative potential and sufficient experience in working with children into its teaching staff.
Creative plans
This year the main direction of the Studio is ethnic music and dances (music of the peoples of the world) in modern processing. Again, closely with the study of the culture, history and customs of those countries whose music will be performed. Vocal works will be performed in the language of the country whose music is being played.
Please note that on the basis of the Studio there are 2 directions that children can attend free of charge throughout the school year: “Music Club” and “Musical Living Rooms”, created for schoolchildren who want to plunge into the world of music, song, dance and theater and expand your knowledge in these areas.
Another successful direction based on the Studio, launched in October 2005, is the Center for Aesthetic Development of the Child, for children aged 3 to 6 years, whose parents are interested in the creative and intellectual development of their kids. You can see photos from the New Year’s Holiday, held this year for kids in folklore style, on this site called: “BRIDGE” in December “in the section:” Gallery “. The folklore theme will continue this year: now we are preparing for the celebration of Maslenitsa in early March of this year. We invite everyone to visit our holiday, the exact date and venue of which will be specified!
In February 2006, sports, health and development activities are organized for the youngest aged 1.5 to 3 years together with mothers.
In the future, on the basis of the Studio, it is planned to organize the School of Young Models and the Theater of Fashion for children and teenagers who want not only to learn how to dress fashionably and with taste, but also to demonstrate models prepared by their own hands.
