I like that the environment is not only surrounded by education, but also sports. Many teachers grew up in this area and participated in the same activities as students are today. There is a big sense of unity in that aspect. However, the sportsmanship between the schools has/has been toxic for years. There is a sense of superiority from the older schools, which is understandable. However, it is sometimes overwhelming when people doubt your skills and talent because of the school you go to. The sport experience between schools is something that I wish would change for the better.

I’ve grown up going to Williamsburg-James City County schools, and I’ve had a pleasant experience at each school I’ve gone too. The teachers and staff are so kind and attentive to the students needs, and have no problem helping out a student when they are struggling.
I like the inclusive atmosphere. We celebrate diversity of people, religions and holidays that are meaningful to all groups of people. More could be done about student language and fighting. Sometimes it goes on too long before an adult gets involved.

Williamsburg, VA – Art School House of the Artist
20 May
This guide begins with an introduction to Virginia as a whole – its history, climate, scenic and historic attractions. The focus then shifts to Williamsburg where we bring you history, attractions and activities, entertainment, shopping, dining, accommodations and more. While on a holiday in and around Williamsburg, you can stroll the streets of a restored 18th-century village, shop at a modern mall, dine at an elegant restaurant, play golf at one of the East Coast’s finest courses, or scream upside down at one of the scariest the rollercoaster of the world at Busch Gardens. College of William and Mary, founded in 1693, is the second oldest in the nation and has three presidents among its alumni, including Thomas Jefferson. Other modern landmarks make Williamsburg a timeless destination. Water Country USA is the largest water park in the Mid-Atlantic. Busch Gardens is a wonderland of wild rides and live performances spread over 360 acres. Outstanding shopping, dining, golf and entertainment make a visit to Colonial Williamsburg an unforgettable experience. From 1699 to 1780, Williamsburg was the political, social, and cultural capital of a land that stretched west to the Mississippi and north to the Great Lakes. It was in Williamsburg that the Patriots developed the fundamental concepts of the new republic—responsible leadership, public duty, self-government, and freedom of conscience. And it was in Williamsburg that lesser-known men and women became true American citizens. A visit to restored colonial Williamsburg is a step back in time to a thriving 18th-century community. It is a theater of living history where merchants sell their wares, artisans practice their craft, and patriots sit in dark corners and whisper about the revolution. All the information you need is here to make your visit unforgettable. With color photographs throughout. nine0003
