Now Hiring for the 2023-24 School Year!

 

 

Have a bachelor’s degree? Interested in becoming a substitute teacher? Let Everett Public Schools help you!

 

Requirements to be eligible: Bachelor’s Degree,  8 hour training STEDI class, fingerprints completed with OSPI prior to start date.

 

Step 1. Apply at Everett Public Schools Website: Emergency Substitute Teacher (2023-24) 

Step 2. Be interviewed by our Human Resources team

Step 3. Applicant creates account with OSPI

Step 4. Our substitute services team will send an emergency certification application 

Step 5. Get 8-hour STEDI training with an 85 or higher to pass. Note: The initial cost for this class is $40.00, which will be reimbursed once the applicant has completed 10 substitute assignments

Step 6. Attend Sub orientation

  • As we continue to return to ‘normal’ the USDA is not able to extend the ‘free meals for all’ waiver program for all schools any longer. Our school qualifies for CEP which means school meals continue to be free for all students at our school, regardless of free and reduced lunch qualification. Click headline to learn more.
