Riverside Elementary School Reviews

Rating 1 out of 5  1 review

An uneasy feeling about my child’s teacher made me want to reach out to the administration. I got transferred to the assistant principal, I asked to have a sit down with her & she dryly said she had time then, on the phone. So I laid out my concerns. During the conversation, which was her interrupting a lot, I realized she was defensive while I spoke. I’d volunteered enough in the class that year to know the teacher would have the same defensive attitude as the Ass. Principal so I asked for my child to be transferred to another teacher. Here’s what I noticed while volunteering; the teacher gossiping about the girls in the class with other parents while the kids were within earshot. A child got hurt while I was there & she asked for a band-aid which she needed and the teacher turned her away very irritated. The issue I had with my child was hair related and an incident where he told the teacher he was hurting so he could come home and she told him he’d have to deal with it.

Riverside School – British Primary School in Novogorsk is a private primary school and kindergarten with a unique and innovative curriculum. We take the best from British and Russian education programs. Children from 3 to 12 years old study with real native teachers, carefully selected and specially invited to Riverside School. The school is located in the north-west of Moscow in the conservation forest zone of the Skhodnya river valley (Novogorsk). The school is surrounded by a hectare of forest, and the students have access to a swimming pool and a tennis court. Small class sizes, gentle child care and a serious approach to learning make Riverside School the best choice for parents who want the best for their children.

Riverside School is a private international elementary school (we are also opening a secondary school) in the north-west of Moscow in an ecologically clean place of Novogorsk, in the conservation forest zone of the Skhodnya river valley. The International School “Riverside School” was created in connection with the growing demand in Moscow for a private international education based on a bilingual curriculum. Our students are children of expats, graduates of kindergartens, where education was conducted in two languages.

We have created a replica of a classic English school, keeping in mind a decent Russian education, taking the best of the two programs and developing our own unique curriculum. Our students will be fluent in 2 languages, which will allow them to easily continue their studies both in Russia and in any English-speaking country, because the Riverside School curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum (British National Curriculum) and the Russian educational program for GEF.

A full-fledged study of the Russian-language program (both in the period of preparation for school and in primary school) will allow children, if necessary, to easily return to the Russian educational environment at any stage of education. We employ experienced professional carriers with higher university pedagogical education.

English-speaking teachers and their teaching assistants provide children with a complete “immersion” in the English language and cultural environment.
