superdotados y talentosos y academias técnicas y vocacionales.

Project “Grandchildren by Correspondence” – Old Age is a Joy

Project “Grandchildren by Correspondence”

Support the project

Each of us wants to feel needed and loved, communicate and share our joys and problems, receive support and give advice to those who needs them. Our grandparents are no exception.

You can read more about the correspondence, its rules and how to start it in the “Volunteers” section. Each of you, being in any corner of the globe, can write to our program manager, Lyudmila Filchukova [email protected], and take part in the program, write letters to grandparents, and also act as a correspondence coordinator for other participants.

We have been able to change the lives of more than 5,000 old people who have found their “grandchildren by correspondence”, and we are not going to stop there!

If constant correspondence is not yet for you, you can take part in congratulating our wards on holidays (Birthday, New Year, March 8, May 9, etc.) by sending a postcard.
All information can be found here or on our social media pages.

There are no restrictions on the number of congratulators and congratulators. You can make several people happy at once by congratulating them with a card.

Congratulations on the holiday does not entail the obligation to continue correspondence, moreover, almost all grandparents already have remote “grandchildren”.

We ask you not to send gifts and parcels : firstly, the envy of the neighbors will ruin the whole holiday for the addressee. Secondly, older people are more likely to be embarrassed, even frightened by parcels from strangers, than rejoice at them. So even for permanent pen pals, it is better to send parcels after 3-4 letters. Thirdly, you need to go to the post office for parcels, which is difficult or impossible for many older people. In addition, not all boarding schools have a power of attorney to receive all the parcels for the wards.

We publish announcements about sending postcards for the nearest holiday on the social networks of the fund. You can also write to the coordinator right here how many cards for the next holiday (usually these are the birthdays of the next month, in December – New Year, in February – February 23 and then on March 8, in April – Victory Day and Easter) you are ready to send. Postcards should be sent by Russian Post about 7-10 days before a significant date, whether it’s a birthday or New Year. It is better to write your return address on the envelope: grandmothers rarely answer, but the deliberate absence of such an opportunity offends many.

Please do not duplicate the request to send addresses on different social networks and on the foundation’s website: your letters will be received by different coordinators and you will receive several portions of addresses.

Do you enjoy the process of communication?
Do you feel free in it or is there a sense of self-compulsion?
If there is a desire, but there are no topics for conversation, share this with your girlfriend, maybe she will suggest an interesting topic.
If there is internal resistance and you write “well, because you have to” “you need to show interest”, then you should think why do you need it? Are you satisfied with this format of communication, the frequency and density of communication?

If a girl is from your city, then look for a personal meeting. Namely, initiate it. If not, then I don’t know. If possible, then somehow see each other in real life. But as a rule, after a long correspondence in a personal meeting, disappointment may arise. Well, or vice versa. In general, when dating online, you should not correspond for more than 3-5 days. You need to close the distance and go on a date.

Why can’t she write anything? Mb you didn’t give up on each other?)
You can either forget to communicate, or communicate in real life … But in general it is strange, why the question? Do you want more relationships? Or keep talking to her? You can study pickup or public speaking courses especially if you have the money for it. The ability to convey your point of view to the enemy is very … Read more

Nothing to write about? Ek you, the poor grabbed!

Well, I’ll give you a hint, of course, it’s not a pity: get another one, but better two or even three and correspond with your health with the whole “harem”, hehe!
