  • Start out by explaining to your child that probability helps determine how likely something is to happen. Then, think of an event that would be fun to predict together.
  • For your event determine the number of ways an event can happen and the total number of outcomes. For example, when flipping a coin, it will land on either heads or tails, so there is only 1 “event” that can happen. However there are two possible outcomes. So, the probability of the coin landing on heads is 1/2.
  • Once you have determined the probability of your event, map it out on a probability line with 0 being “impossible” and 10 being “certain”.

Impressive successes were achieved in the field of education in those years. Interactive worksheets as a new way of cognitive activity of children (on the example of searching for the spring awakening of nature)

Depending on the set learning task and the teacher’s ability to design IRL, work with interactive sheets may include a full cycle of learning activities – from immersing the student in the topic and posing a problem to evaluating the results of student work.

An interactive worksheet (IRL) is commonly called a digital tool for organizing students’ learning activities by a teacher using cloud services and web tools.

The authors of the idea are Lyudmila Rozhdestvenskaya and Maria Smirnova.

Any teacher can develop an IRL on any subject content, a set of methods for developing a sheet can be tried to highlight:

  • inclusion of test elements: open and closed tasks.
  • organization of work with text.
  • problematic tasks with step-by-step execution.
  • tasks aimed at the ability to classify, structure.

Feedback from a teacher in HDI technology most often takes the form of comments in the margins of an already completed worksheet, or an extended text with an analysis of the results of an entire group (including examples and explanations), intended for the community of a class, group, etc.
