About the gradual exit from the regime of self-isolation was announced by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev. The head of the region allowed shopping centers, catering establishments and even baths to open. But the gradual lifting of restrictions did not suit everyone. People who have been allowed to go to work have no one to leave small children with. Kindergartens now continue to work only in the format of duty groups. The Ministry of Education of the Sverdlovsk Region explains: the opening date of kindergartens in each municipality will depend on the incidence rate there. That is, the more people infected with COVID-19, the less likely it is to quickly resume full-fledged work of groups.

— We understand that the spread of coronavirus infection passes through children, and I would not want it to be massive and systemic. Therefore, the Ministry of Education has developed three stages for the transfer of preschool institutions to normal functioning, – explains the Minister of Education of the region Yuri Biktuganov.

It is planned to open kindergartens in three stages:

• Those kindergartens where on-duty groups are already open will be the first to start fully functioning. This rule applies to municipalities where there are no cases of coronavirus. Before the opening of kindergartens, parents of kindergarteners will be interviewed and find out if the majority go to work or stay at home.
• At the second stage, duty groups will return to normal operation. More groups will open.
• At the third stage, preschool institutions will return to full-fledged work, but for this they will need to obtain permission from Rospotrebnadzor.

And what about in Pervouralsk?

— Kindergartens today we operate in the format of duty groups. If necessary, we increase the number of these groups – as soon as we receive an application and a group of 12 people is recruited, we open an additional group. In the near future we will plan to work only in this format. If we have an improvement in the epidemiological situation, we are ready to gradually start kindergartens to work as usual. All this will take place in coordination with Rospotrebnadzor and the children’s city hospital,” Irina Gilmanova, head of the Pervouralsk Education Department, told Interra.tv journalists.
