Description
Description:
The famous novel “The Life of David Copperfield” by the great English writer Charles Dickens won the love and recognition of readers all over the world. Largely autobiographical, this novel tells the story of a boy forced to fight alone against a cruel, bleak world populated by evil teachers, mercenary factory owners and soulless servants of the law. In this unequal war, David can only be saved by moral firmness, purity of heart and an extraordinary talent that can turn a dirty ragamuffin into England’s greatest writer. In this edition, the text of the novel is accompanied by brilliant illustrations by the Soviet artist Grigory Filippovsky (1909–1987).
Moscow, st. Spartakovskaya, 23
Official of the Ministry of Education and Science – heiress of Molière, President – follower of Copperfield
The hunters for plagiarism in the dissertations of Russian officials highly appreciated the creative courage of the representative of the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science. The scientific work of the head of the department of preschool education of the Ministry of Education and Science Gelnur Manyurova on how to encourage teachers to “develop the cognitive independence of students” turned out to be, according to the calculations of the Dissernet community, not independent by at least 90 percent.
This is not the first case when a Tatarstan official with his dissertation came to the attention of the “free online community against falsifiers, scammers and liars” Dissernet “. True, the pronoun “one’s” in such cases can only be used conditionally.
“VK “I already wrote how in the doctoral thesis in economics, defended by the ex-head of Almetyevsk (now a State Duma deputy from United Russia) Rishat Abubakirov, the researchers of Dissernet counted almost a third of the pages “borrowed” – of course without indicating the source of borrowing – from in the PhD of the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan (now Vice Mayor of Moscow) Marat Khusnullin, such literal, or rather, page-by-page “coincidences” with the texts of strangers, earlier dissertations turned out to be more than half of the volume.0005
The leader of pre-school education in Tatarstan surpassed both of them. There are 213 pages in the candidate’s dissertation on pedagogy, defended by Gelnur Manyurova in 2007. Of these, 29 (title page, table of contents, introduction, bibliography) “Dissernetists” did not check for plagiarism, and among the remaining 184 pages, they considered only eight not stolen entirely from the works of other authors … More precisely, the situation with these amazing eight pages of hunters for plagiarism was characterized as follows: “Large-scale borrowings have not yet been discovered.”
Let’s say that Ms. Manyurova’s dissertation was inspired by 5 dissertations by different authors defended from 1999 to 2006. On the site of “Dissernet” it is easy to see that the coincidence of Gelnur Manyurova’s work with these sources is verbatim and page by page.
And the most large-scale coincidences in the scientific work of a specialist in preschool education on the topic “Formation of the future teacher’s readiness for the development of cognitive independence of students” were found with Ivan Ignatov’s dissertation on the topic “Formation of the cadet’s readiness to protect the rights of military personnel. ” Although the fact that in Russia teachers are formed on the basis of the methodology for the formation of people in uniform, it still cannot be considered a scientific discovery…
Gelnur Manyurova herself told “VK” that she “has no idea” why her dissertation coincides so much with those written before her. To the question: “Did you write it yourself?” she answered:
– Well, who are you, or what? I can say one thing: I didn’t take anything from anyone …. Maybe we used the same sources…
To the remark that the use of a source without references to it is called plagiarism, Gelnur Halirakhmanovna says that she cannot give any other explanations.
The problem with the sources has ruined the life of more than one Russian official, and before them in history there were victims because of it. The greatest Moliere himself was so fed up with the then hunters for plagiarism that he, they say, directly stated: “I take my good where I find it!” These unkind people “Dissernet” would be better off fighting Molière than offending the Tatarstan officials.
