The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) oversees the State’s pre-kindergarten program, known as Bright from the Start. This is a voluntary, lottery-funded educational program for Georgia’s four-year-olds.

Bright from the Start put more than $358 million into state pre-K programs for fiscal year 2017, creating slots for some 84,000 students across the state. DECAL estimates that it currently serves 60 percent of the state’s four-year-olds, but with a wait list of 5,000 prospective preschoolers, it’s clear that many more are still needed.

That leaves it up to you, as one of those future preschool professionals, to help shape the future of those kids. With the right training, the right attitude, and a whole lot of patience and perseverance, you can make a huge difference to kids and their families in Georgia.

Step 1. Complete an Approved Route to Initial Certification

If you want to become a preschool teacher in Georgia, the first step is completing a Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) approved educator preparation program. A GaPSC-approved program includes a student teaching, field experience, or education practicum, which is completed in a Georgia school.

FIND SCHOOLS

Sponsored Content

Depending on your educational background, a GaPSC-approved program may be:

  • A bachelor’s degree program if you do not currently possess a bachelor’s degree (the minimum degree to become a lead preschool teacher in Georgia)
  • An advanced degree program (a Master of Arts in Teaching, a Master of Education, or a Master of Arts) if you already possess a bachelor’s degree but have not completed the requirements for initial certification
  • A certificate-only program if you already possess a bachelor’s degree program but have not completed the requirements for initial certification (usually has fewer courses and requirements than a master’s degree program)

You can view a list of GaPSC-approved teacher preparation programs here.

The following majors related to Early Childhood Education (ECE) are recognized by the Department of Early Care and Learning for preschool lead teachers:

  • Birth through Five
  • Child and Family Development
  • Child Development
  • Early Childhood/Special Education
  • Early Childhood Care and Education
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Early Childhood Education

The Department of Early Care and Learning also recognizes a degree in psychology or social work, provided it includes at least ONE of the following:

  • An associate degree with a major in early childhood education
  • A Montessori diploma
  • A technical college diploma (TCD) with an ECE major
  • A technical certificate of credit (TCC) with an ECE major
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential

If you possess a non-early childhood education degree, you must possess at least 15 semester hours or 25-quarter hours of accumulated ECE-related coursework within the non-ECE degree.

Assistant Preschool Teacher

You may also teach preschool in Georgia as an assistant teacher. To become an assistant teacher in Georgia, you must possess at least ONE of the following:

  • Technical College Diploma in early childhood education

Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 06/20/1994 N DV-58
(as amended on 11/30/1995)
“On approval of the Manual on the technical operation and repair of aviation equipment in the civil aviation of Russia. NTERAT GA-93″

13.2. PREPARATION OF PRODUCTION

13.2.1. Preparation of production is a complex of preparatory and auxiliary works performed in advance, ensuring the planned rhythm of basic production processes, effective implementation of the specialization of production structures in the interests of strict observance of the established periods of stay of the aircraft in various states. It includes the work performed (typically) by the pre-production department:

– preliminary assembly of products, parts, materials, tools and equipment required for maintenance;

– delivery of completed aircraft equipment to the workplaces of performers and its removal from workplaces;

– operational provision of jobs with aircraft technical equipment, the need for which is identified in the process of maintenance;

– maintenance of tool and accessory facilities, organization of work of the tool and consumable storeroom;

– accounting for the consumption of aircraft equipment and determining the need for it;

– issuance of aviation equipment to crews and contractors;

– drawing up applications for the purchase of aircraft equipment and other materials.

13.2.2. In a typical case, the initial data for planning and organizing pre-production in the ATB are:

– planned annual flight hours of aircraft;

– the number of technical services by their types, forms and types of assigned and transit aircraft, the timing of their implementation for the planned period;

– consumption rates of materials, products and parts of the exchange fund, the minimum stock of aviation equipment, tool kits, aids to navigation, inter-shop and intra-shop transport for each form of service;

– standard labor costs for preparatory and auxiliary work.

13.2.3. In a typical case, the tools, fixtures and property necessary for servicing the AT are completed according to the picking lists developed by the ATB on the basis of the ED for specific objects and work packages. The tools and fixtures used for work on the AT are marked with codes (Appendix 1.3) for the purposes of accounting, registration of acceptance and issue and accessories.

13.2.4. In a typical case, tools and fixtures (depending on the type of work) are divided into sets for individual and general use, for which inventories are made.

Sets of tools and devices for individual and general use are issued (with verification according to the inventory) to teams or individual performers for the duration of their work on aircraft maintenance.

Sets of tools and accessories for common use are placed and stored in containers provided, in addition to the inventory of stored items, with documentation for transfer.

13.2.5. At the end of the working day (shift, work on the aircraft), the performer checks the availability of a tool for individual and general use and hands it over to the employee responsible for receiving and issuing these funds. In case of loss of the instrument, the performer is obliged to report this to his supervisor and take measures to search for it. First of all, the serviced aircraft is inspected to exclude the possibility of its departure with the instrument left on board.

13.2.6. Aviation equipment, components, tools and accessories must be stored in places that exclude the possibility of their uncontrolled use. Components must have passports (labels) and tags indicating the name, number and category. It is forbidden to store suitable components, parts and materials together with faulty (requiring repair, decommissioned) and substandard ones.

In a typical case, when storing aircraft technical property in the ATB, it is necessary:

– to establish personal financial responsibility of officials for the safety of products and materials;

– contain products and materials in standard containers and in the conditions established for them by the ED;

– carry out maintenance work on the products, provided for in the operational documentation.

13.2.7. Aviation equipment stored in warehouses and transferred by ATB subdivisions is accounted for in the manner determined by the requirements for accounting of material assets. The issuance of products for installation on the object is carried out (in a typical case) on the basis of an application (requirement) of the established sample and, as a rule, in exchange for products removed from the AT object.

13.2.8. In a typical case, the exchange fund of products, as well as products for replacing exhausted resources, are completed according to the picking lists and lists of planned replacements of products developed and compiled by the airline.

Maintenance of stored products, in this case, the execution of orders and forms is carried out by specialists admitted to the production of these works and in accordance with the requirements of the ED.

13.2.9. Conditional products are issued for installation on the aircraft and delivered to the workplaces with the necessary routine maintenance performed on them, with completed accompanying documentation (forms, passports), with plugged and sealed holes, in a package that ensures the safety of products during transportation.

13.2.10. AT items removed from the aircraft to check for compliance with the scientific and technological progress, to perform maintenance and repair and restoration work, are sent to the appropriate departments. After the necessary work is completed, the products are returned for installation on the aircraft or transferred to the exchange fund.

13.2.11. On the items removed from the aircraft, the holes must be plugged and documentation drawn up with the conclusion of the work manager on the reason for the removal. Products to be repaired are washed, preserved, packed together with forms (passports), which indicate the operating time and the reason for removal, in accordance with the requirements of the current documentation.

13.2.12. Accounting, collection, storage and transfer procedure for AT products, in the design of which there are precious metals and stones, is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory document regulating the accounting, collection, storage and delivery to the State Fund of precious metals and stones.

13.2.13. In a typical case, maintenance of workplaces [a workplace is an area of activity of the performer (executors) in which the tool, fixtures, consumables, spare parts, ED, ground handling and AT state control facilities are placed] is carried out according to the flow charts developed by the airline. The technological maps indicate the scope of work for the preparation and cleaning of workplaces, information about their completion with equipment, tools, fixtures, property, the timing of the supply and cleaning of the necessary funds.

Preliminary results of IX MFTR “Technoprom” summed up – Kommersant Novosibirsk

Photo: provided by the press service of Technoprom-2022

“Last week, a large-scale event took place – the IX International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2022. This year it was indeed very large-scale, both in terms of duration and the number of participants and events that took place at the forum site. The schedule was so tight and the number of participants so large that it was difficult to carve out a window for individual events that needed to be included in the forum plan. Several venues were involved this year. In general, Technoprom was held at a high organizational level, with high interest from both in-person participants and those who participated in the events, viewed the events online. I thank everyone who was involved in the organization of Technoprom, who accompanied our guests, ”said Andrey Travnikov during the operational meeting of the regional government on 29 August.

The Minister of Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region Vadim Vasiliev reported to the head of the region on the preliminary results of the XI MFTR “Technoprom”.

The forum was attended by 12 thousand people, of whom almost 9 thousand participated in person, more than 800 speakers, delegations from 19 countries. Representatives of more than 60 countries, including the USA, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, etc., watched the forum events online.

Representatives of more than 250 corporations and industrial partners, development institutions became participants of the forum. Among them are Rosatom, Gazprom, Rostelecom, Norilsk Nickel, the United Engine Corporation, and the Skolkovo Foundation.

The program of the forum included 10 tracks, more than 200 events. All of them were devoted to various aspects of the main theme – ensuring the technological independence of Russia.

Photo: provided by the press service of Technoprom-2022

The exhibition was attended by 145 exhibitors, it included 17 individual and nine collective stands. For the first time, a platform was built, which included several thematic halls, and each of them received participants and guests throughout the days of the forum. Symposiums, round tables, discussions and meetings were held here.

Working sections filled with a program and a lively dialogue unfolded at the exhibition grounds. The main stand of the exhibition was presented by one of the most significant results of the work of the IPTF of past years – the SKIF CUC, which can rightly be called a symbol of the region. Each forum participant had the opportunity to see the details of the future installation live.

The forum also featured projects supported by the federal government based on the results of Technoprom last year. This, for example, is the project “Digital twins of protein structures” of the Orekhovich Institute of Biomedical Chemistry. In addition, the proposals formulated in 2021 were announced at a joint meeting of the State Council and the Council for Science and supported by the President of the Russian Federation.

Technoprom’s satellite events this year were of great interest, the number of which also increased. For example, at the Siberian Venture Fair, they organized a kind of elevator with the governor, where several finalists of the event were able to find support for their project not only from investors, but also in the relevant ministries. A bright place was taken by the forum “Science of the Future – Science of the Young”, which was attended by more than 370 young graduate and undergraduate students.

Separately, Vadim Vasiliev emphasized the events held under the auspices of the NTI Platform and the NTI Foundation. Here, the themes and meanings of the NTI-2023 Archipelago were being developed. Archipelago is a platform where breakthrough projects are formed, and its value lies in the fact that we accustom the whole country to the idea that almost any idea can be implemented in a short time to real production. This year the final part was held in Sevastopol. Projects from the Novosibirsk region were among the winners. A decision was made to hold “Archipelago-2023” in the Novosibirsk region.

Photo: provided by the press service of Technoprom-2022

Dmitry Chernyshenko , Deputy Prime Minister, noted that the forum became a landmark event of the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the President. This year, its main topic was the execution of President Vladimir Putin’s instructions to achieve technological sovereignty and economic security in Russia.

Governor Andrey Travnikov at an operational meeting in the regional government set tasks for the organizers to implement the agreements reached during the forum.

“I ask the Ministry of Science and Innovation Policy of the region to summarize all the agreements and put their implementation under control,” the head of the region emphasized. “This is holding, together with the NTI Archipelago-2023 platform, an Olympiad for schoolchildren in robotics, the implementation of a number of projects for the construction of a technopark in the field of IT-technologies in “Greater Novosibirsk”, the accelerated creation of the “Safe City” system and other projects in the field of IT. I also ask you to assist in the implementation of agreements between industrial partners and our research institutes.”

Limitations and issues

Be aware of the following restrictions and issues related to accessing Adobe Analytics data.

Google Analytics quota limits for Power BI

Standard limits and quotas for Google Analytics AP requests are described in API request limits and quotas. However, Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service allow for the following extended number of queries.

  • Requests per day: 1500 000
  • Requests in 100 seconds: 4000

Troubleshooting

Checking for unexpected data

If the date ranges are very large, Google Analytics will only return a subset of the values. The process described in this section allows you to understand which dates are being retrieved and change them manually. If you need additional data, you can add multiple queries with different date ranges. If you are unsure that you are returning the expected data, you can also use data profiling to quickly view the data that is returned.

To ensure that the displayed data matches the data received from Google Analytics, you can run the query yourself in the Google online tool. To understand what Power Query data is being retrieved, you can use query diagnostics to understand what query parameters are being sent to Google Analytics.

If you follow the query diagnostic instructions and run diagnostic step on all added items, you will see the generated results in column query data source diagnostics. It is recommended that this function perform as few additional operations as possible on top of the initial connection to Google Analytics to ensure that you are not losing data in the Power Query transform, not what is retrieved from Google Analytics.

Depending on the request, the string containing the outgoing API call to Google Analytics may not be in the same place. But for a simple Google Analytics query, you will usually see it as the last row with content in that column.

In column “Data source request ” you will find an entry with the following pattern:

 Request:
GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/data/ga?ids=ga:&metrics=ga:users&dimensions=ga:source&start-date=2009-03-12&end-date=2020-08 -11&start-index=1&max-results=1000"aUser=%40gmail.com HTTP/1.1

Response:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Content Length: -1

In this entry you will see the identifier of the analytics view (profile), the list of metrics (in this case, just ga:users ), a list of dimensions (in this case, only the reference source), start and end dates, start index, maximum result (default is 1000 for the editor), and quotaUser.

You can copy these values into the Google Analytics Query Explorer to ensure that the same data you see returned by your request is also returned by the API.

If the error is related to the date range, it can be easily corrected. Go to Advanced Editor. You will have an M query that looks something like this (at least there may be other transformations on top of it).

 let
    Source = GoogleAnalytics.Accounts(),
    #"" = Source{[Id=""]}[Data],
    #"UA--1" = #""{[Id="UA--1"]}[Data],
    #"" = #"UA--1"{[Id=""]}[Data],
    #"Added Items" = Cube.Transform(#"",
        {
            {Cube.AddAndExpandDimensionColumn, "ga:source", {"ga:source"}, {"Source"}},
            {Cube.AddMeasureColumn, "Users", "ga:users"}
        })
in
    #"Added Items"

You can do one of two things. If you have a column Date , you can filter the data by date. This is an easier option. If you don’t care about breaking by date, you can group after that.

If you don’t have the Date column, you can manually manage the query in the Advanced Editor to add it and filter. Example:

      Source = GoogleAnalytics.Accounts(),
      #"" = Source{[Id=""]}[Data],
      #"UA--1" = #""{[Id="UA--1"]}[Data],
      #"" = #"UA--1"{[Id=""]}[Data],
      #"Added Items" = Cube.Transform(#"",
          {
              {Cube.AddAndExpandDimensionColumn, "ga:date", {"ga:date"}, {"Date"}},
              {Cube.AddAndExpandDimensionColumn, "ga:source", {"ga:source"}, {"Source"}},
              {Cube.AddMeasureColumn, "Organic Searches", "ga:organicSearches"}
         }),
      #"Filtered Rows" = Table.SelectRows(#"Added Items", each [Date] >= #date(2019, 9, 1) and [Date] <= #date(2019, 9, 30))
   in
      #"Filtered Rows"
