Hi, we are Brian and Bonnie Lee. We are holding our daughter Rose who was born in May of 2017 in front of Play Care Learning Center, which was under construction at the time. It was an almost 4 year journey to get to that point but we are happy we are providing the best early childhood education experience for children in the Sacramento area. Our passion, dedication and hard work have allowed us to make this dream a reality. We invite you to learn about our programs.

We are a Reggio Emilia inspired program. We don’t strictly follow the philosophy but adjust it to today’s realities with working parents. Reggio Emilia’s approach to learning is described as student-centered and project based utilizing self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments.
It draws many similarities to Montessori such as mixed ages in classrooms, child focused and keeping students together as they progress but differs by being project focused and social skills oriented. Problem solving and conflict resolution are also key focus areas.
Research has shown that social skills and problem solving skills are the most important indicator of future life success at this age. Many child development centers around the State have moved to this approach. We believe play is the work of children and is the basic way in which young children gain knowledge. Just as teachers use instructional techniques for reading, preschool teachers plan opportunities for spontaneous play, guided play, directed play, or investigative play to teach new skills and concepts. Our preschool program is designed to encourage learning through play, hands-on activities, and small and large group discovery time.

Play Care Learning Center is devoted to providing a loving, safe, supportive and educational environment for children ages six weeks to six years. We provide a home away from home where children are encouraged to develop their own intellectual, social, moral, emotional and physical skills. Our goal is to allow children to grow and develop their character in a meaningful way. The Play Care Learning Center staff is committed to the families we serve by providing value added services as well as support and encouragement for all involved.

Mourinho, however, is confident and hopes for a new addition to Tottenham:

“We have no doubt that what we need and what we can get. Therefore, we will strengthen our squad step by step and make it more balanced. It’s important to keep our best players though.”

Defense line. Time for a change

Tottenham’s defense looks to be in for a major purge this summer. The team has already suffered one fundamental loss: Jan Vertonghen left the squad as a free agent a week ago, signing a three-year contract with Benfica. The 33-year-old footballer has been playing at Tottenham since 2012, and his connection with Alderweireld, formed back in the 2015/16 season, has become the personification of the era of Mauricio Pochettino at the London club. The times of the Belgian duo with the appointment of Mourinho came to an end: the Portuguese was dissatisfied with Jan’s last performances and gradually removed him from the starting lineup.

Another motivation for acquiring an English goalkeeper is the departure of veteran goalkeeper Michiel Worm from the club.

Tottenham’s only more or less major transfer this summer is the signing of Pierre-Emile Hoybjerg from Southampton. The Danish midfielder moved to London for 17 million euros, signing a five-year contract with the new club. The 25-year-old, who won the Champions League as a youth with Jupp Heynckes’s Bayern Munich, has been a true leader in the Saints’ squad and has served as team captain in recent years. It was precisely such a player, as the second half of the season showed, that Tottenham was missing: the frail Winks could not cope with these duties, and Ndombele was simply lazy.

“The club found the right moment to make a deal. Pierre was in the last year of his contract with Southampton, his club was in a difficult situation, so I think Mr. Levy did an amazing job. Thanks to this transfer, we will become better, ”said Mourinho, pleased.

For about the same role last season, Tottenham hired Tanguy Ndombele, for whom the Londoners paid Lyon an impressive 60 million euros – this transfer became the most expensive in the history of the club! The Frenchman did not manage to fit into the team of Pochettino, who was fired in November, and the football player did not have the best relationship with Mourinho. The conflict between the player and the Portuguese specialist led to the fact that Ndombele practically dropped out of the team: by the end of the season, the 23-year-old Frenchman even disappeared from the application!
