This show is bad for several reasons:

  • you have to sacrifice your time. She would have to have coffee with him or call Jack because Joe thought it was a great idea. Yeah of course.

In this letter, there was no copy of the letter to Jack.

Pluses of this letter:

  • Joe explains in detail why Jack might be interesting. This suggests that he is not just unreasonably pouring out his feelings to Mary, who should deal with them herself. Instead, Joe spent time figuring out if Mary and Jack should get to know each other, and how they would mutually benefit from it.
  • Joe grants Mary the right to refuse. No one is forcing her to agree to an acquaintance. On the contrary, Jo gently says that you should not worry about rejection if she does not have the time and desire, etc.
