Enrollment and Tuition Crossroads Daycare

Children of new clients will be placed in Crossroad Daycare on a two-week trial basis. This allows all parties to get acquainted. If there are any personality conflicts, disciplinary problems, etc. each party has the opportunity, at an early stage, to terminate child care at Crossroads Daycare and seek alternative care.

Termination

Crossroads Daycare reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time for sufficient reason including, but not limited to the following:

  • Consistent payment issues
  • Consistent misbehavior of a child
  • Consistent nap time unruliness
  • Unforeseen problems, which may occur with the Parent/Guardian or the child(ren)

Parent/Guardian may terminate this contract by providing the Provider written notice of such termination a minimum of two weeks before the effective date of termination. A Parent/Guardian not providing the minimum two week notification shall be liable for no less than two weeks daycare fees.

If legal action becomes necessary, the Parent/Guardian will be held responsible for any and all fees or payments in connection with the actions taken to collect said monies. These fees include, but are not limited to, reimbursement to Provider for attorney fees, court costs, etc.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition at Crossroads Preschool is charged weekly. It is agreed that payment shall be made in full, with no deduction for absence except by prior written authority for vacations, by the Friday prior to scheduled care using an auto draft feature. All other fees/charges can be paid by check, cash, or money order made payable to Crossroads Daycare and subject to return check fee per check if returned from bank.

Late Pick Up Fee

The Parents/Guardians understand and agree, to pay a fee per every minute the child(ren) is not picked up from daycare after the scheduled closing time. For those children repeatedly left in our care beyond the written scheduled time there may be a change in the weekly childcare fee. A Teacher’s cell phone may be used for determining the fee.

YOU HAVE OPTIONS

You can separate your fees into weekly, biweekly, and monthly payments. However, it must be paid on the first Monday of the week, and it is due even if your child does not attend, as long as the child is enrolled in the program.

TUITION

At the time of ENROLLMENT, parents are required to sign a tuition agreement, and pay a registration fee of $100. 00, along with one week’s tuition in advance. THE REGISTRATION FEE AND 1ST WEEK OF TUITION are NONREFUNDABLE. The registration fee/tuition will also serve as a security deposit to secure a child’s space in a classroom for a minimum of one (1) week. At the end of the week, the child will need to have started the program, or another week of tuition will be due, or space will be lost.

FEES

Each child’s tuition is an ongoing fee, which may be separated into weekly, biweekly, or monthly payments. ALL TUITION IS DUE ON MONDAY, THE WEEK OF SERVICE. HOWEVER, IF PAYMENT IS NOT PAID BEFORE 5:30 p.m. Monday, IT IS CONSIDERED LATE, AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN $20 LATE FEE.

NOTE: Tuition is required if your child attends the Center or does not attend, as long as the child is ENROLLED in the program.

DISCOUNTS

A $10.00/week discount is given for one additional child in the same family. 

Forms of Payment: Parents are encouraged to make payments online at myprocare.com or the Check-in station using a card only.  Administration may not always have the proper change for your payment if cash is used.

PENALTY CHARGES

A RE-ENROLLMENT fee of $100.00 is charged when a child is dropped from the parent or Center and RE-ENROLLED program at any given time within the same year. If a client wishes to continue services and the slot is still available, the $100.00 Re-Enrollment will be requested upon entering the program.
A Late Payment Penalty of $20.00 will be charged to all accounts on Monday and every Monday after that as long as the account is delinquent. The Center may discontinue services if tuition is two weeks or more delinquent.
LATE PICKUP FEES will be charged if a student is picked up after Center operating hours. The operating hours for Little Wonders Learning Center. Are from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you pick your child up after 5:30 p.m., the following fee of $10 will be imposed at 5:30 pm then a dollar every minute after.  Phone calls to notify of a late arrival will not exempt a late fee charge. Accounts will be billed.

RETURNED CHECK FEES

There will be a $35.00 service charge for all returned checks, in addition to a $20.00 late payment fee. When the Center receives three or more returned checks from a client, we will no longer accept checks as a payment method from that client. Returned checks must be paid out before another check is taken.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS

If accounts are two weeks or more delinquent, the Center Director has the right to discontinue services. All unpaid accounts will be turned over to a collection agency. Parents will be notified before this procedure. Any balances left unsettled will be sent to Online Collections after 30 days.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

If a parent decides to withdraw from the program, a two weeks notice is required. Any parent failing to do so will be charged their regular tuition rate for two weeks. In addition, all balances will be sent to Online Collections after 30 days of the last day the child attends the program.
