“I have worked through several agencies in the past, and Nanny Harmony is one of the few that actually take the time to really get to know you and your needs.

Brooke made the process of finding the perfect family for me extremely smooth and easy. There was constant communication throughout, Brooke was always there to answer any questions that I had and answered in a timely matter. I really appreciate how they advocate for the nannies they work with, they take the time to make sure that both the nanny and the family are the right fit for each other. Accepting my new position was an easy decision working through nanny harmony! I can’t thank Brooke enough!”

What Is a Newborn Care Specialist? Understanding the Differences Between NCS, Postpartum Doulas, and Night Nannies

An NCS is an individual who is highly-trained and often certified in their newborn care. Because of their extensive training, the NCS is equipped to confidently lead the way in the home, often offering guidance and education for the parents if desired. Their expertise surrounds all aspects of care for the newborn, including but not limited to sustainable sleep habits, diapering, bathing, feeding strategies & support, developmental milestones, and alerting you to any common/uncommon medical concerns so that you can check in with your healthcare provider. Additionally, many Newborn Care Specialists are experts in care for preemies and multiples.

Six Ways to Enjoy More Outdoor Play During the Cold Winter Months

You see, I think there really is something to the Scandinavian philosophy that “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. ” Obviously there is a level of discernment that comes along with this discussion, but the possibilities for outdoor play become limitless when we let go of our desire to label weather as “good” or “bad” and just let it be.

Should I Give My Nanny A Holiday Bonus?

Your nanny may be new to your family, or maybe she’s been holding a special place in your hearts for years now, but regardless of how long she’s been a part of the family, it’s likely that you’ll have her in mind when purchasing holiday gifts this year. It is stressful to come up with the list of special people you need to buy gifts for and it may be even more stressful when you start thinking of what to buy these people. You’re moving down the list and feeling confident about what to get your family members and close friends, but then you come across your nanny’s name and think,

“What on EARTH do I get for my nanny?!”
