“Unsafe place for your children”

My wife and I were looking for a good daycare in the Brandon-Riverview area for our 3 years old twins and, in our research, we found this facility in Brandon has 3.2 stars out of 5. When they started in May there were 2 teachers in a classroom that have 2 behavior problem kids, currently, there is only 1 teacher that managing a class of 15 kids including these 2 children. Due to this cause, accidents are pretty common, and even more if for their ”educational programs” they are using real tools like screwdrivers for teaching purposes…” unrealistic”. The staff is the worse and more unprofessional you will find in the states, from their current director to the teachers and the former director. My daughter got her face stamped to the wall by one of the special care kids, resulting in a broken bleeding nose and nobody called to us, they were definitely trying to hide what happened. We took her to the hospital after picking them up.
I don’t know who is reading this review but please, keep your kids safe and away from these kinds of places that certainly jeopardize the integrity of your children.
Don’t make the mistake that my wife and I did.

“Unsafe place for your children”

This is the worst place that I have ever been.
The things they do to these kids are awful. There are cameras, but they dont work. The boss is lazy, mean, and does not care about anything. She lets her employees do whatever, they dont send the kids home when they are sick, i personally can say take your kid ANYWHERE BESIDES THIS PLACE!

“POOR MANAGEMENT”
KinderCare’s management doesn’t know what they are doing. The director’s children attend and are the worse behaved, and her 6 year old attacks the other children in the classroom. The poor teachers,. In fear of Whitney, the site manager, resist disciplining her son! I thought this was a good, safe place for my son to attend, but found he was getting hurt almost everyday by the directors own child. We quit attending, yet KinderCare continued to bill us! And are trying to take me to collections for services never received. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CENTER, IT’S DIRTY AND THE TEACHERS ARE NOT RESPECTED BY THE CHILDREN. THE TEACHERS ARE UNABLE TO DISCIPLINE DUE TO MANAGER, WHITNEY W. AT THE 15 & PINE LAKE ROAD LOCATION.

“Go elsewhere!”
I’m not sure I’ve ever given a bad review but today I had to share my experience. This daycare is the worse! Not only are they unorganized and unprofessional but also very unreliable which is the last thing you need in a daycare. Never a consistent teacher or anything great for the kids to do either. With less than 2 weeks left of summer, with maybe 24 hours notice (email sent at 7pm) the hours changed from 6-6 to 8-5. This has caused big issues with my job and caused me to hire someone to pick my child up since I would normally get there at 5:20 daily. Horrible experience start to finish and looking forward to school beginning so we will never have to deal with this mess again.

“They are bullies – at least Franklin, WI Center is”
I have been with this center for almost 2 years. I have state funding due to my child falling under foster care guidelines. The center is very aggressive. They told me my child could no longer attend while I was getting things worked out with the state, while I was in communication with them every step of the way during the renewal process. They send passive aggressive emails ALL THE TIME about unloading funds. Saturday was October 1, because I hadn’t had time to call and release the funds & today is only the second business day of the month, I had planned to today. I received an email that states my child cannot attend ONCE AGAIN until funds are unloaded. Really? They have never not been paid, usually it’s very timely but this is the 2nd time in 2 months this Teresa thinks its okay to drop threats and bully the customers.
That is poor customer service and if that is how she treats people, they should consider replacing her with a better person more capable of being the “face” of the Franklin site.

“Poor self-soothing techniques”
I enrolled my 1 year old in KinderCare after COVID restrictions were released. The childcare workers did not show any compassion or patience with my child. I witnessed him placed at a table facing a wall by himself while the other children played “bubbles.” The worker suggested she was allowing him to decide to play when he was ready to join the group. I also witnessed that worker sit my son along an isolated wall while he cried hysterically. I don’t believe such a punitive approach is effective when dealing with a 1 year olds needs.
The staff were polite but ineffective.

“Clean Facility with nice teachers”
Sent both my kids here when they were little.
Facility was clean and teachers were friendly.
Only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is that they were very expensive compared to other facilities. I still enrolled there because it was the closes to my location.

“Very very commercial place to be your child at this early”
Actually I liked the KinderCare app and I thought I can see her through the photos they put there. But my 7 months used to get sick there so frequently. I thought it’s not right to send her when she is having runny nose, etc. I couldn’t go on work on these days and it’s like she took more than week to recover. So I was expecting atleast her week charges would get waived off.
Plus There were plenty of other kids who were sick we could figure it out just by seeing. They don’t deny them to come or don’t have any policy or so.
I believe Being professional is different than being commercial.
Parents like me who don’t have options to put their child in safe hands and not have family around to babysit.
They should stop taking advantage of them so much like this.

“Fake entitled daycare”
They discontinued my two children’s care over covid reasons. They are focused heavily on gettting their money -erica and Angela who are the directors of this place could care less if you are a single parent struggling to provide for your family. Every two week during 2020 and 2021 they forced my children to quarantine. I am a full time worker which is impossible to ask off of work every other week when a new child exposes the facility to covid and had very little resources such as family members to help when my children were sent home due to a cold. They used my personal medical information was a violation to their policy when i didn’t even have to disclose it to them & they used that for a way to end my children’s care.
The directors are both fake at this location. They promised me a meeting and instead out of nowhere by email discontinued by kids care. My kids are both great kids and didn’t deserve this and have been struggling without there stable routines and teachers/friends that they loved being with everyday. “Racial Profiling”
I worked for this Company for three years, I was one of the strongest 2 teachers. Never had a complaint I was wrongly let go because Katherine Reed felt as if I was being an anrgy teacher. By stating that. No I will be on vacation so I can’t do a lesson plane that the other teachers had under control! But it’s okay to have teachers yell at the kids leave them in soiled diapers because that aren’t potty trained! She said she hears the teacher yelling through the walls! Teachers have told her that they will not change the kids.

“Bullies?”

“Kinder Kaution”
My son at the age of 2 got hurt under the care of Kinder Care In Pennsauken. MY SON NEEDED 4 STITCHES ON HIS FOREHEAD… I stood home for 2 weeks to care for my son who was still enrolled in this daycare.
Kindercare failed to inform me that I needed to still come to this facility to sign my son in and out so they can still be paid although he wasn’t actually attending… forget that I was homing caring for my baby who got hurt under THEIR care… so now I’m being harassed by a collection agency for them charging me while my child wasn’t even there SMH… DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE WITHOUT INVESTIGATING… EVERYDAY I WILL POST THIS STORY SO EVERY PARENT IS AWARE OF KINDER CARE IN PENNSAUKEN!

“Kindercare”
My boys have been going to Kindercare Orem since they were infants. I have never had a concern with their teachers. However, the tuition rates keep going up which is extremely unfair for a single mom like myself. The director, who held the daycare together, has left.
New employees are being hired. The daycare is NOT the same. The nw employees are not friendly and I feel that I cannot have a simple conversation with them without feeling like I am annoying them. They take care of my percious boys and it is extremely important that I have some sort of relationship with them, as any parent would feel! Prior to the director leaving, I strongly felt that the daycare was like family. Not anymore. Another frustration I have is that on numerous occasions, I have witnessed the daycare putting prefect good items into the dumpster! This infuriates me beyond belief. I have even told them many times that I will gladly take everything that is not wanted and donate it to the MANY of places that take donations. It is clear that they are unwilling to help the world in regards to homeless childern or whoever else could use the perfectly good items being thrown out. I don’t want to take my boys out of the daycare because they have their friends and have grown with the other childern around them.
But at this point, I will have to start looking elsewhere. I have mentioned my concerns to them and they do not care. What a great daycare. Not.

“I was very disappointed to experience such disrespect during my phone call with the director”
I was very disappointed to experience such disrespect during my phone call with the director of Clementon KinderCare, I believe the center needs to replace the director immediately. On Thursday Jan 19,2023 I was getting off work around 6:00pm when I received a phone call from the daycare, I was contacted by the Director who was extremely rude, she lashed out in a harsh tone saying that I needed to pick up my son, the court order in front of her states this. I was confused by the call and let her know I was unaware of what she was talking about, I never received a revised court order that changed my visits.
The original order stated that I am given
Wed-Thurs morning, which mean I drop him off to daycare Thursday morning. My next allotted time is not until Fri- Sunday. However what the director was reading to me states that I am to have him from Wed-Sun. Now had I known of the new changes I would not have dropped him off that particular morning due to my expected work schedule for Thursday. I tried to explain to her that I am being completely blindsided by all of this new information and unfortunately I am nowhere close. I was in north NJ, and it would take me 2 hours to get to daycare from my current position. She showed no empathy or compassion to my current situation, she continues on to tell me that this isn’t her problem, and she has somewhere to be. She recited that their rule states that the child has to be picked up by 6pm and if not by 6:30pm the police will be involved. I then questioned why is it necessary to have them involved, this is not a no show situation, I expressed that I am being compliant, and I am on my way as well as trying to find someone to get to you sooner.
I also apologized again that I did not know about the new order and I’m not sure why I did not receive a letter in the mail. I live in Phila. PA, NJ family court has in the past taken down and incorrect address and not sent me very important information. I also questioned why she believe it was necessary to talk to me in such a manner, I did nothing wrong and in fact I am trying to resolve this issue.
The entire conversation she spoke with such an intimidating and condescending tone. None the less she continues to tell me none of this is business of hers, and she doesn’t have time for this, she is a very important person, a director who has a lot to do. I felt as if me being African American played apart, and she believed she can speak to me however she wanted to. I do not believe that if this was a Caucasian couple the situation would have been taken to this extreme. I doubt the police would have been called, especially knowing I’m enroute and on the phone with you, as well as trying to find someone close.
I added her in on a call with my friend who lives in New Jersey to see if he would be able to pick up my son, she yelled on the phone and hung up. I called back nervously very scared for my son, I was in a vulnerable situation and there was nothing that I could do to fix the issue quickly enough, and there was no understanding given. I asked if she could call his mother, she said she’s at work, but in a very recent conversation with the court his mother stated she was not working at the time, so I asked was she sure and could she please just try and I will pick him up from her, she said no. I also inquired why am I being notified so late, I would believe that if I never pick him up on Thursday I should get a courtesy call to make sure I am aware, so she stated she meant to call earlier but because she’s a director and had more precedent matters, and other obligations she lost track of time. Of course I can understand that, however she refused to give the same understanding in return. Continuing with the same rude treatment she stated if someone is not here by 6:30 I will be calling the police, and then yelled I have been here since 6:30 a.
m., I said I understand I’m just as tired I dropped him off at 6:30 a.m. She then hung up to call the district director, so I continued to search around for someone able to get there. I spoke with my sister she said she can get him, so I called the daycare to let them know my sister was on the way, the director never mentioned that the police were called already she just rushed me off the phone stating they were waiting for a callback. I then get a call from the police who is stating that the director told them that I said I am not coming to pick up my son which was not the truth, I was very grateful because the officer remained neutral and asked for my side of the story. I explained to him everything that happened, within the conversation he let me know everything was being recorded and gave me what I needed to retrieve the recording (Inv. Szovati 2023-*******) My sister arrived at the daycare, the director asked the police to follower her out and please stay until she has left to make sure she does not do anything.
That request was very rude and unnecessary, my sister said nothing to her in an aggressive or threatening manner. I believe the director is racist and I fear for my son being in her care.

“Do not take your child here!”
Do not take your child to the Kindercare in West Schaumburg, IL off of Bode road! The teachers can not handle the amount of kids in their classes. They had to bring in “assistants” that look like they have no idea what they are doing. The center director is apparently highly educated and trained in special needs and kids with behavioral problems yet she can’t handle a 3yearold! Her “method” of a solution is sending a child home when they misbehave. She taught my child if he misbehaves he gets to go home! Instead of fixing the issue she used her “education” to actually give my child issues then accused his home life to be the problem.
The center director needs to be fired and never allowed to work with children again!

“Kindercare Mundelein Ilinois is a bad place for diversity!”
We had to withdraw our child from the kindergarten program( KinderCare Mundelein 695 S. IL Route 83, Illinois) because it is not accredited by the State of Illinois, and the director did not tell us the truth. She told us it was recognized, and the teacher would prepare our bilingual daughter, born after September for the first grade readiness test. The teacher never did it and was not aware of the test in our public school ( she is young and has no experience at all). She was not communicative. She did not reply my husband’ s email or phone calls until we complain. She did not give us feedback about our bilingual child’s progress until she had to take the readiness test.
We complained more when the teacher gave us a poor report card written in pencil. There is no appreciation, not the teacher’s signature and not our daughter’s attendance. Awful, we paid a lot ( about 1400 dollars per month). Our daughter failed the test but the director did not care. She called me for the check!

“Kindercare is an OK center if your child is one who…”
Kindercare is an OK center if your child is one who fits perfectly in the “box”.
They are rather a warehouse for children, not a childcare center.
The employees are good people, and well intentioned but certainly not anything special.

“I have used 3 daycare centers since my baby was 2 years…”
I have used 3 daycare centers since my baby was 2 years old and the first two were just horrible. I almost decided to stay home and quit my job because I couldn’t find anyone I could trust. My friend suggested kindercare because at least those centers have to pass certain guidelines to be a part of kindercare. I decided to try them before I gave up on the entire daycare concept and I couldn’t have been happier. I know every center is independently run, but our center is run by a great woman and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a daycare to at least check out their local kindercare.

My 3 boys have been going to this daycare for years. I love all the teachers in the facility. Director and asst director is always on site. My questions are always answered.
Any concerns I have had have been dealt with. I do have a medically handicap child and I trust all the workers with him. I do trust all the ladies as they are my 2nd family. My middle son is in preschool rm and he loves to learn new things each day. He is being taught things in Spanish which I find amazing. They have a structure like being in school to prepare the children. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

My grand daughter has been crying and not wanting to go to daycare every day for her first week there last week. She said it was hot and she wasn’t happy.
I went in to pick up my grandson and check out the building. No one asked for ID. I said who I was and was allowed to take my grandson with no other information. I was very unhappy with how dirty the floors are in this facility. Also when I went in, it was 83 degrees. I asked about the air conditioning and pointed out how terribly hot it was in there. I was told the air conditioning had been turned up and maybe they needed to call for maintenance.
I am so unhappy I am sick! My grandchildren’s other Kindercare was very safe and I was comfortable leaving them there! This one is terrible!
