In the past fiscal year, the average salary of the highest paid top managers of Microsoft decreased for the first time in 4 years – by 3. 7%. Steve Ballmer received the least in the team, and Kevin Turner became the record holder of the list, whose fee is eight times more.

The average salary of the five highest paid Microsoft directors, including the CEO Steve Ballmer (Steve Ballmer), in the 2012-2013 financial year decreased by 3.7% to $7.2 million compared to $7.48 million in the 2011-2012 financial year. Such figures are contained in a document filed by the company with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

In total, the top five Microsoft CEOs earned $36 million last year. This includes salary, bonuses, and stock bonuses.

Over the past 4 years, the average salary of Microsoft directors has decreased for the first time. In the 2011-2012 financial year, for comparison, the average value increased by 22%, and in the 2010-2011 financial year – by 23%.

Top earners Kevin Turner COO Satya Nadella Executive Vice President Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise President Microsoft Office Division Kurt Delbene Kurt DelBene and CFO Amy Hood (Amy Hood).

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer received the least on the team, and compared to Kevin Turner’s compensation, his fee was about eight times less: $1.3 million versus $10.4 million.

Bonuses paid to top managers of Microsoft depend on the results that the company managed to achieve at the end of the year. The maximum possible awards were received by Kevin Turner and Amy Hood.

Steve Ballmer’s FY2012-2013 bonus was reduced by 21% from FY2011-2012 to $550,000. Explaining the drop in premium, Microsoft’s board of directors cited poor results from the Windows Division and poor sales of the Surface RT tablet.

Kevin Turner earned 8 times more than Ballmer last year

Recall that in August 2013, Ballmer announced his intention to retire within 12 months after the transfer of his functions to a successor.
