The New World Symphony and American Orchestral Academy, located on 17th Street, trains talented musicians for global leadership roles and, as part of that mission, hosts great orchestral events throughout the season.

Newly colonial theater in South Beach has been renovated to become an Art Deco place of grandeur, hosting music, dance, comedy shows and more traditional plays. Miami Beach Ballet , located between Collins Avenue and Dade Bland, has been described by The New York Times as “an exceptional company, by Balanchine standards, anywhere in the world.” Its mission is to train young dancers who perform from their repertoire in more than 100 ballet performances. Faena, designed by OMA, is also a great cultural addition to the area and offers a permanent art space and retail bazaar.
