I have over 15 years of childcare experience, including teaching. I currently own my own Home Day Care facility which is DCFS certified. They have done background checks on me as well as certified my home as a healthy safe environment for children. I provide a nutritious home cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack, free of charge. I also provide transportation before and after school. I am CPR and first aid certified. My home daycare is smoking-free and pet free. My hours begin at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. I have been a licensed daycare provider since 1996 in Woodridge,and I’m licensed for 12 children. I am open from 7am – 5:30pm Monday through Friday for full time and part time positions. I am within walking distance to Edgewood and Sipley Elementary Schools and St. Scholastica School. I have a large array of activities that we do daily.. We have outdoor play (weather permitting), occasional field trips and holiday parties. We go through our ABCs, numbers, colors, read books and listen to music. The daycare is equipped with all the equipment needed for infants and toddlers (pack n plays, high chairs, booster seats, swings, etc). If you have interest in my daycare, I would be happy to sit down and discuss your daycare needs.

I entrusted my daughter to Teri for a few months in 2018. My baby changed from a sunny, happy sweetie to a sad, crying mess quite quickly. I decided to show up in the middle of the day and opened the door to hear my child screeching in an upstairs bedroom. Teri, who was watching TV in the basement, ran past me and got my baby. She didn’t say anything, and I ran out. After years, I have spoken to no less than four other moms who had similar experiences, some were even worse. Scarily worse. I also learned that she started locking parents out after my surprise visit and makes parents wait in the garage. It is hard to convince DCFS with these stories, but moms know, and we call rather quite a lot but can’t make anything stick.
