This place is awful. Sometimes the director does not go to school and even without notice. She did not follow CDC guidelines for COVID19, no facemask, no mearuing temperature. The director is rude, unprofessional. She told my daughter something wrong, I must to tell my daughter she was wrong. She does not know much about computers.

About 140 children will soon receive a new kindergarten in the Irkutsk region. An educational institution in the form of a fairy-tale castle is located on an area of one hectare. On the territory there are stylized playgrounds, shady awnings, and inside there are modern furniture, sports equipment and toys.

Foreword
Adina, the author of the following letters, was the only daughter of Manasses Benjamin, who, although descended from the tribe of Judah, was born in the Greco-Roman city of Alexandria. His great-grandfather, the famous David-Ezra-Manasses, was one of the seventy interpreters called in 284 by Ptolemy Philadelphus to translate the Bible from Hebrew into Greek. Having completed the great task with his coworkers, Ezra, at the invitation of the king, settled in Egypt, where he died at a ripe old age, holding an honorary position during his lifetime. His descendants, all people of a remarkable mind, enjoyed for five generations the full confidence of the rulers of Egypt and acquired enormous wealth, which finally passed by inheritance to Manasses Benjamin, a worthy follower of the famous great-grandfather. Clever, truthful, possessing deep scientific knowledge, Manasseh Benjamin strengthened the honor and respect of the whole city, and the proconsul Lucius-Paulinus himself honored him with his friendship. But, despite the fact that he was born in Egypt, the fiery love for the country of his forefathers and the temple of Jehovah did not fade in his heart, and, being himself brought up according to the law of Moses in Jerusalem, where he was sent by his father in early youth, he decided to give and daughter the advantage of an education consistent with her destiny as a future Jewish wife, heir to his name and great treasures. nine0007
Introduction
After seventeen days of tedious journey along the desert road of Gaza, the walls and towers of Zion appeared in the distance. The caravan stopped, and all the Israelites who were in it knelt before the city of David and Mount Moriah – a place sanctified by Abraham’s stay on it. The young girl, throwing off the veil from her face, also bowed her head in reverent contemplation. Here is Jerusalem, the city of the prophets, the cradle of the forefathers—Jerusalem, stories about which from early childhood filled her infant soul with God-fearing awe! Looking into the country around her, she experienced all the great events of past times. She clearly imagined Isaac bound on the altar on the top of that same mountain, where now, all shining with gold and the dazzling whiteness of its marble pillars, the temple of Jehovah flaunts; the prophet Isaiah, pacing the picturesque valley that spreads out at her feet; King David, surrounded by unfading glory, and all the great men who walked these streets and wandered these mountains. One by one, pictures of the distant past passed before her. Bloody wars, repeated sieges of the holy city, a stubborn struggle with the Assyrians, Persians, Egyptians and all the peoples of the earth, the captivity and slavery of her compatriots, the destruction of Jerusalem and its miraculous restoration. nine0007
But what most of all filled her soul with reverent fear was the realization that the Lord Himself appeared at this place and spoke face to face with people. In her awakened memory, the Ark of the Covenant, the stone tablets, the rod of Aaron, the bronze serpent rose before her, and her heart began to beat violently from sensations unknown to her until then. On her knees, she offered up a prayer of thanksgiving to the One Who by a number of miracles distinguished her people from other peoples and exalted the city of her fathers above all other cities of the earth. Adina’s shining eyes sparkled with a proud consciousness of her Jewish origin, and her triumphant gaze wandered complacently over the wondrous terrain, marked throughout the entire expanse of the earth for visible communication with the sky. nine0007
The Arabians accompanying the caravan, following the example of the Jews, also bowed their knees before the holy city, thereby paying honor to Abraham, their forefather according to Ishmael, whose grave, according to their concepts, is located in the vicinity of Mount Zion.
Suddenly a detachment of galloping cavalry with a golden eagle on its head appeared on the road from the city.
– Romans! shouted the guides with one voice, and, quickly rising to their feet, began to fuss to clear the way for the approaching army. nine0007
Indeed, the victorious horsemen flew like a whirlwind, and, having knocked over one poor Jew urging his miserable donkey into the ditch, they soon reached the top of the hill.
A sudden pallor instantly replaced the fresh blush on Adina’s face; self-satisfied pride was immediately silenced in the offended heart, and the glory of the past was eclipsed by the humiliation of the present. An unexpected meeting with the Roman legion reminded her that the country of prophets and kings, glorified from the beginning of the world by the Lord Himself, was now nothing but a conquered, enslaved province! Heavy grief took possession of her heart, and, covering her face with a veil, she gave herself over to the melancholy that had seized her. Meanwhile, in armor sheathed in gold, with a loud noise of ringing weapons and the deafening clatter of five hundred horse hooves, a warlike cavalry rushed through with the speed of lightning and soon disappeared from sight. nine0007
Together with her, the joyful mood aroused in the soul of a young girl by the contemplation of the holy city disappeared, and she remembered the words of Jeremiah: “How the Lord darkened the daughter of Zion in His anger! Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth? – Plch. 2:1-15. Bitter tears relieved a broken heart; as a true daughter of Jerusalem, she wept over the lost glory of her people.
Now the road skirted a dotted hill, and the rabbi, a venerable Jew, under whose guardianship she had been placed on the journey, drew her attention to the tomb of the prophet Jeremiah. Leaving it to the left, they crossed a small beautiful valley, finished like a garden, with fountains, pavilions and covered alleys, along which the people who had gathered here for festivities crowded. Along the shady side of the road, sellers, who came from all over the world, settled down under a canopy, and offered their heterogeneous goods to those passing by. nine0007
The rabbi explained to Adina that their entry into the capital coincides with a holiday.
Passing the crowd, they turned to the right and reached the hill, from which Jerusalem, now visible from all sides, appeared in all the splendor of its incomparable grandeur; despite all the hardships, fierce battles, desperate sieges and devastation, the sovereign capital of the world remained worthy of the name assigned to it: “queen of nations”.
Struck by the splendor of the painting, Adina stopped her camel. nine0007
“No one is able to destroy the city of the Lord,” the rabbi said thoughtfully, “it will stand forever and ever.
– Enlighten my ignorance, ben Israel, – said the young girl, turning to her companion, – and show me the most noteworthy places. What, for example, is this gloomy fortress-like building on the right side of the temple?
– This is the palace of King David, fortified by himself, and in it David himself and the noble Maccabeus defended themselves from enemies. It was built by the first king of Jerusalem, Melchizedek, a friend of our forefather Abraham. Now it houses the Roman garrison. nine0007
— And this beautiful tower, near which stands a majestic palm tree almost the same height as it?
“This is the tower of King David,” answered the rabbi, apparently flattered by the inquisitiveness of his companion; from the height of this tower, the sentry he set guarded the return of those sent for news about Prince Absalom; and the forest you see in the distance adjoins the forest of Ephraim, where he found an untimely death.
– And this luxurious building with a gilded roof topped with an eagle? nine0007
– This is the palace of the governor Pontius Pilate. But what about you? the rabbi asked in fright, noticing the sudden change in Adina’s face, which had become deathly pale, and, following the direction of her agitated gaze, he immediately guessed the reason that had troubled her meek, merciful heart.
On the top of the hill opposite the city gates, not far away, he saw several high crosses planted in the ground. On two of them hung people nailed to a tree; the assembled people and the military guard, standing beside them, watched with obvious curiosity the expression of agony on the distorted faces of the condemned victims. The groans and curses of one of them clearly reached Adina’s ears. nine0007
– This hill is called “Kalvary” and serves as a place of execution for villains sentenced to death. The execution of the cross is one of the most painful; but the Romans, like all pagans, are not distinguished by a sense of mercy.
They hurried away and drove around the dilapidated fence of the garden, open to passers-by, in which men and women with children walked along the paths and rested under the shade of olive trees.
– This is the former garden of King Solomon, now “Gethsemane”, – said the rabbi, – like all royal gardens, it is now neglected and partly cut down. nine0007
— And despite how beautiful he is! exclaimed admiring Adina. “How wonderfully beautiful is the mountain behind it, covered with dark luxurious trees!
– This is the Mount of Eleon, which in the old days was part of the royal gardens. The town spread out behind it is called Bethlehem.
— Is it really the same Bethlehem, from where, according to the prophet, the One “who should be the Ruler in Israel” will come? – Mich. 5:2.
– The same one. And in time, his words will surely come true. The end of foreign dominion will come, and a king from the princely house of David will ascend into the walls of Jerusalem. nine0007
— Are there still descendants of David? asked Adina, fixing her inquisitive gaze on the face of the old rabbi framed by a gray beard.
—Of course they do, otherwise how would the promises of the prophets come true? But where they are found is unknown. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that among the many tribes that fill the universe, there is still alive the remnant of the sacred Root, which, as Joseph and Daniel once manifested in Egypt and Persia to become the rulers of the nations, will come and reign in Israel! nine0007
— But how will He manifest from such an insignificant place as Bethlehem?
The rabbi, slightly preoccupied with the tricky question, was pondering the answer to it, but then the caravan stopped to let through a huge herd of sheep driven to the city for sacrifices.
