AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Windsor Avenue KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

I have been a part of the KinderCare family for almost three years now. I love the fact that the staff have been here long-term, which makes it very nice for the kids. The staff are very caring, understanding, and have a lot of patience. I love how active they are with the kids. They have a great curriculum, and I am amazed at how much my kids have learned. They hold family events year-round, which is another great perk, so meeting the parents of other kids and bonding with the KinderCare family is common! During the summer they have guest speakers and do field trips! They also have a great security protocol to ensure your kids never leave with someone they should not leave with. KinderCare Kimberly is the way to go! I love being able to be at work knowing my kids are in very good hands and safe. Come join the KinderCare family–I can promise you won’t be disappointed!

Each and every staff member, from current and past teachers to administrators and management staff, knows everyone in our family by first name. We are always greeted at drop-off and pick-up with smiles and stories about our children’s day or recent antics. Every teacher has made us feel like our children are the most important people in the building. We have always felt our children receive quality, compassionate, safe, reliable care here. We have watched our children grow and develop new skills because of the amazing experiences provided by KinderCare. It is evident in our children’s daily activities that KinderCare strives to promote healthy development in all areas, like social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Questions

Answers

1

How to find out the status of the child’s queue in kindergarten?

You can check the status of the queue for kindergarten through the PORTAL of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan (uslugi. tatarstan.ru), regardless of the method of application (electronically through the Portal or directly through the education department).

2

What criteria are taken into account when placing a child on the waiting list for kindergarten?

When forming a queue for kindergarten, the date of application, the child’s age, benefits, the child’s health needs, and the desired language of education are taken into account.

3

Why is the calculation of the child’s age set on September 1st?

The academic year in preschool educational institutions begins on September 1, in connection with which the calculation of the child’s age is carried out at the beginning of the school year.

For example, your child turns 3 years old on September 01, which means that he will be sent to the age group from 3 to 4 years. If a child turns 3 years old after September 01, then he will be sent to a group from 2 to 3 years old.

4

Status of the application “confirmation of documents”?

You must contact the education department at the place of residence to confirm the documents. Have with you:

1. Birth certificate of the child.

2. An identity document of the parent (legal representative).

3. Documents confirming the availability of benefits.

After confirming the documents, the application is assigned the status “registered”.

5

Application status “does not exist”?

Perhaps this is a technical error or an error in the data on the child.

You must contact the education department at the place of residence to confirm the documents.

6

Is the status of the application “in processing by specialists of the Department of Education”?

This status is assigned to the application temporarily, during the recruitment period for kindergartens.

7

The status of the application is “sent to kindergarten”?

Within 30 calendar days, you must come to the kindergarten indicated on the PORTAL to enroll the child in the institution.

In case of refusal of the proposed kindergarten, it is necessary to contact the department of education with an application for a return to the queue.

8

Application status “did not appear”?

In case of failure to appear at the kindergarten within 30 days from the date of publication on the PORTAL of the status “sent to kindergarten”, the application is assigned the status “did not appear”.

If you wish to participate in the subsequent recruitment of kindergartens for the upcoming academic year, you must personally contact the education department at your place of residence.

9

Why is there a movement in the queue?

Queue moves down:

If a child with enrollment privileges has queued up for kindergarten,

If a child appeared in the queue, in the application of which the priority kindergarten was changed, and at the same time the date of his placement on the queue is earlier than yours;

· In case of refusal of the proposed kindergarten and return to the queue of the child with the date of enrollment earlier than yours.

The queue moves up if one or more children leave the queue for the specified kindergarten (for example, the child received a place in another kindergarten, or the applicant refused to receive the service).

During the period of mass recruitment of kindergartens from June 1 to August 31, significant systematic movements in the queue are possible.

10

Change priority kindergarten?

You must personally contact the department of education at the place of residence.

11

Why did the program send the child to a kindergarten not listed on the application?

Proper nutrition from the first years

A balanced diet is the key to health for life.
French cuisine is known to be the healthiest cuisine in the world. But it’s also the tastiest.

At Doudou Kindergarten in St. Petersburg, children eat farm products and follow the golden rule “5 fruits and vegetables a day”

For the French, eating is relaxation and enjoyment. Table etiquette and pleasant communication are observed at every meal.

We instill in children a gastronomic taste from an early age, because eminent Michelin chefs had a hand in developing the children’s menu.
