  Mary began her career with KinderCare Learning Center’s in 1987 as the school age teacher. The next year she became the assistant director. In 1989 she became the center director of the Olney KinderCare and moved to open the Sioux Lane KinderCare in Gaithersburg in 1992. In 1996,  Mary was asked to open the Shady Grove Road KinderCare where she is the current director. Mary is married with four children and 8 grandchildren.

• Gerlinda Cook-Brown

  Gerlinda began her career with KinderCare at the Shady Grove Road KinderCare as the pre-k teacher in 1996 whern the center opened. .She became the assistant director in 1998 and currently holds that position.<br />
  Gerlinda is married and has two children in college.

  Latricia

  Ms. Latricia is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Studies. She loves learning new ways to improve communication. In her classroom Ms. Latricia plays a major role in teaching her three and four-year-old students Spanish, all while having fun. She recently got married and is new to the Maryland area. When asked why she left Minnesota, Ms. Latricia replied “Snow in May!”.

The creation of the longest ecological park in Europe – Yauza continues. It will have comfortable places for recreation and a landscape park. Two sections from the Moscow Ring Road to Yeniseiskaya Street will be equipped this year.

– The historical and natural features of 350 hectares of territories were taken into account, we will preserve the natural relief and vegetation as much as possible, – said the Moscow City Hall.

A cultural and leisure cluster with a stage, swings and a café-amphitheater will appear along Severodvinskaya Street. It is planned to create a recreation area with comfortable benches and flower beds, a spacious children’s playground with a fountain.

The park will have a playground with exercise equipment, a health trail and a dirt park for cyclists. The skate park will be reconstructed, a platform for the Russian game “gorodki” will appear.

Eco-trails will be created along the banks of the river and additional trees and shrubs will be planted. At the request of the artists, a pier will appear at the viewpoint.

When: the first plots will be commissioned in 2022.

A landscape park with a sensory garden

The Tushino airfield was closed eight years ago. The Otkritie Arena football stadium appeared on the wasteland, then residential areas began to grow. – Workout areas will be created with a network of tracks for roller skating, scooters, skateboards and bicycles. As well as a territory for developing children’s games, – they said in the Asterus company.

One of the unique objects will be a sensory garden. This is a chamber recreation area, separated from the main pedestrian flow by an elevated relief with a micro-courtyard in the center of the square. The sensory garden will be made of various surfaces: sand, pebbles, wooden surfaces, grass paths. They will also plant fragrant plants.

Chinese park with apple trees

The landscape park on the territory of the Chinese business center on Wilhelm Pieck Street is already 90% ready. The territory is gigantic – 5.25 hectares, for convenience it was divided into three zones: a public one with a pond, a walking area with quiet rest areas and an economic one. You can enter the park from the Botanichesky Sad metro station.

The Chinese flavor will be read in the characteristic park pavilions with national paintings and open galleries. There are plans to open a Chinese language school and a Chinese medicine center here. In fact, it will be a mini-park of the Imperial Palace in China.

An artificial pond with ornamental fish and flowering aquatic plants will become the center of attraction in the park. There will be a Chinese restaurant, a tea ceremony house and an exhibition hall around. Apple trees, plum trees, weeping willows and birches, as well as a meadow with peonies, will be planted in the park area.
