Transportation Fee:
$30.00 per child, per month, regardless of how many days are attended and/or transported in a month.

Registration Fee:
$55. 00 per child, per year. Military families receive free registration.

Rates Include:
A.M., P.M., & Evening Snacks for children ages 1-12 (see posted meal times).
Breakfast and Lunch for Toddlers and Preschoolers, also Full-day Kindergartners-6th graders on no-school days (except for summer day camp). Meals and times are posted in the centers.
Homework clinic for children in grades K-6 (available upon request from the parents).

Full day and hourly rates:
A full day is considered 4 or more hours of attendance. Anything under 4 hours of attendance is up to the directors pre-approval for an hourly rate of $9.00 per hour. Hourly rates do not apply to a regularly scheduled full day. Speak with your director for further explanation. Hourly rates do not apply to school-age children.

Over Hours & Past Closing Charges:
Over hours=$9.00 per hour for care that exceeds 10 hours in a day during the hours of operation. (Rates are based on a ten-hour day.) Past closing=$1.00 per minute after 7:00 p.m.

2nd Child Discount:
10% off 2nd full-time (5 full-days weekly) child in the family applies to the lowest rate child.

2022 – 2023 School Year

Begins July 1, 2022

Registration Fee is $100.00 per child for the program beginning in the Fall of 2022.
This fee is due when the registration papers are submitted.

Infant Program

The Infant program will accept babies 3 months of age – 24 months of age.  This is
a 5 day, full-time program and will cost $1,912.00 per month.  Once the child is transitioned into the Toddler Program, he/she may come on a part-time
basis. Transitions from the infant program into the Toddler Program, from the Toddler
Program into the Preschool Program, occur several times of the year: at the beginning
of the summer program, the beginning of the fall program, and other times on a contingent
basis.

Toddler Program (18 months – 2.5 years old)

Preschool (2.5 – 6 years old) 

Flat Rate Option

This is a new tuition option. Choosing the flat rate option includes the program hours
of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM plus morning care from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM and afternoon care from
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM.   The flat rate tuition is due each month no matter how many days
your child does not attend due to illness, vacation or absence.      

Early Care & After Care Option

If your child comes before 9 AM and/or stays past 3 PM, you can calculate your tuition
cost and pay for the extended hours using the hourly rate of $5.00.  Please state
on your registration form the hours you need your child to attend and use the hourly
rate for the extended hours.  Our goal is to create consistent cohorts with each group
of children. Identifying your extra hours in advance helps us to staff appropriately
for each classroom.

Tuition

All families will need to use our online, contactless payment system to make tuition payments.  If you need to pay by check, please mail your payment
to Fredrickson Family Early Childhood Center, 60 West Olsen Rd, #7400, Thousand Oaks,
CA 91360.  Your tuition card will be emailed to you with your child’s schedule and
tuition amount.

Tuition remains due on the first of each month.   You have until the 10th of each month
to pay the tuition. There will be a late fee of $25.00 for any tuition received after
the 10th of the month unless prior arrangements are made with the director.  California
Lutheran University includes a 30-day provision to increase the tuition.

Tuition is the same per month no matter how many school days are in that month. Holidays
and closure dates are already accounted for in the school tuition. 

Tuition during the months of July and August is paid on a weekly basis.  See the separate
Summer School Registration form for more details.

Discounts

There are Center discounts available for faculty, administration, and staff of California
Lutheran University. It is necessary to fill out the appropriate paperwork and have
it approved by Human Resources.
