AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Simmons North Vegas KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it. )

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Las Vegas, USA – Tour Guide

Las Vegas is a city that needs no introduction. This is the center of gambling and entertainment not only in America, but throughout the world. Tourists from all countries come here to lose their capital or, by a lucky chance, win large sums. Located in the middle of the desert, this place is full of vitality. Las Vegas, like a large amusement park for adults, is able to fulfill your every whim: from the desire to run the famous Bellagio fountains, to the opportunity to frolic in a huge sandbox on a real bulldozer. As the Americans themselves say: “Wherever you go, you will still come to Las Vegas.” nine0003

Las Vegas neighborhoods

Few people know, but all the casinos are not in Las Vegas, but in the neighboring city of Paradise. But this division is purely arbitrary, and this small town has long been the central area of Las Vegas. It is in it that everything that you went to the heart of the desert for: casinos, concert halls, hotels and other entertainments is concentrated.

All areas outside the central part are called Downtown. For a tourist, they can be dangerous, because. robberies often take place here. Local guides also do not recommend settling in Downtown if the budget is limited. It is better to choose an inexpensive hostel room, but within the central part, which is guarded by the police. nine0003

Landmarks

Las Vegas cannot surprise you with its ancient architecture and ancient castles. But you don’t want to come here for that, do you? In the “sin city” you need to abstract from the usual concept of “sightseeing” and consider this place as the scenery for the best vacation of your life.

Population of Las Vegas

Las Vegas ranks 28th in the United States in terms of population. More than 60% of local residents are white Americans, 25% are Hispanics, 13% are African Americans, and less than 1% are Indians.
The locals are friendly, like most Americans, but you have to understand that tourists here are treated like people who come to spend a lot of money. That is why be on the alert and do not blindly trust the first person you meet. According to statistics, every second casino employee is a pickpocket. nine0003

Brief history

Las Vegas is located in the western United States, in the state of Nevada and is the capital of Clark County. The Mojave Desert stretches around the entire circumference here, so approaching your destination, you admire the desert landscapes.
In 1829, a trading caravan settled here, which followed to Los Angeles. The wanderers set up a small camp and, by a lucky chance, were able to find an oasis with water. The discovery gave the name to the city, which means “fertile valleys”.
nine0003

The rapid development of the region began in 1844, and the official date of the founding of Vegas is May 15, 1905. Previously, railway lines, refueling stations ran on these lands, and nuclear weapons were tested in the desert. There was one hotel in the city where visitors could try their luck at the casino.

Everything changed in 1931 when Nevada became the first state to legalize gambling. This was done to inflow money into the treasury and increase the population, and the local authorities were right. nine0003

After the Second World War, Las Vegas began to attract tourists with an unusual sight – the so-called “nuclear mushrooms”. Just 100 km from the city there is a test site where nuclear weapons were tested and explosions could be observed directly from the windows of houses and hotels. At present, the explosions have already been stopped, but tourist excursions to the site are held and they are very popular.

Today, Nevada is in the TOP of the largest and richest states in America, and money is pouring in Las Vegas. nine7 $/night Landing – $ 3.5, 1 km – 1.71 $ 0. 84 $/liter 60 $ for two

The best time to visit Las Vegas

since Las Vegas is located in the desert , rains and frosts here are extremely rare phenomena. Temperatures are very high throughout the year. The hottest months are from June to August. The thermometer at this time can reach +47 ° С.
Most of the precipitation falls in winter, but the air temperature rarely drops below +12 °C. We can definitely say that Las Vegas is a year-round resort where you can safely come at any time. nine0003

Useful Notes

You will need a US visa to visit America. At a meeting with the consul, you should not brag about your English and the mass of acquaintances in the States. Better say that you know the language mediocrely and want to go to Las Vegas to try your luck. In 90% of cases, consuls give a visa.

Las Vegas is an expensive city, if you want to save on accommodation, check into a hotel from Sunday to Thursday, the price is halved during this period.

Do you want to get married? Such ceremonies are held in The Little White Wedding Chapel or Chapel of the Flowers. To get married, you will need your passports and Marriage License for $60. nine0003

America is famous for its strict laws. Persons over the age of 21 can enter the casino or drink alcohol, so always keep your passport with you.

Free breakfasts in hotels are not popular here, but you can buy a “special deal” pass for all buffets in certain hotels and restaurants. It costs $50 and is valid for 24 hours.

Would you like a free drink? Sit down to play in the casino and do not forget to call the waitress. But in order to bring you something intoxicating, be sure to tip her, preferably in chips. Even a one dollar chip is enough. nine0003

What a tourist should do in Las Vegas

  • Wander the streets of Vegas. Everything interesting begins with the advent of darkness. The day is a great time to get to know the scenery, decoration and feel the cinematic mood of the city.
  • Climb to the highest point. The Stratosphere Hotel’s observation deck offers scenic views of the city. From a bird’s eye view, Las Vegas looks very tiny, especially against the backdrop of the desert that surrounds it on all sides. nine0169
  • Feel like an extreme on the roof of the Stratosphere Tower. There are 4 attractions that can provide an adrenaline rush for the next couple of years: X-Scream, Insanity the Ride, The Big Shot and Sky Jump are waiting for their daredevils.
  • Fulfill a childhood dream and get enough of sweets and soda. In Coca Cola and M&M’s stores, you can try all the forbidden sweets for free and buy a variety of souvenirs – from cups to T-shirts and gift sets.
  • Leave the city and visit the Grand Canyon – one of the deepest canyons in the world and the most amazing geological phenomenon. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. nine0169
  • Immerse yourself in the city’s nightlife. In addition to numerous casinos, tourists are offered an extensive show program, with paid and free concerts. You can’t go past branded cocktail glasses, magic shows and, of course, numerous musicals.
  • Get married in one of the local churches. They say “what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas”. If you like unusual antics, why not have a wedding where Elvis Presley himself will be a witness, and you can file for divorce the next day. nine0169

The first volume of Tarantino’s saga about the extermination of the fighters of the Killer Viper Squad

Coming out of a five-year coma, in which her friend and mentor Bill put her, the Bride (Thurman), aka Black Mamba, goes straight from her hospital bed to avenge herself and her unborn baby. The first volume of the Killer Viper Squad slaughter saga is the return of Tarantino, and that says it all. A solemnly “meaningless” spectacle, consisting mainly of fights and fights, it is marked by an unprecedented, festive directorial freedom – the freedom to go in all directions at once, bleed without measuring liters, and reinvent cinema. nine0003

A fierce film fan who collects each of his works from the best moments of one hundred thousand favorite films. At the same time, each of his new paintings is an event, even if it turns into zilch. Since his films are also characterized by an excellent soundtrack, they also become an event musically. Technically, Reservoir Dogs is considered Tarantino’s debut, but do not forget about the half-lost film My Best Friend’s Birthday, the plot developments of which formed the basis of the True Love script. He shot a small (by the standards of big directors) number of films, but at the same time he reinvented cinematography several times: first with Pulp Fiction, then with Kill Bill. He is also known as an actor – he played the best roles with his friend Robert Rodriguez. nine0003

In the village church, where an employee of the record store was preparing to marry its owner, Mr. Plimpton, friends of the future Mrs. Plimpton from their old job, led by her former supervisor and lover (Carradine), entered and shot everyone, including the organist. Four years later, in a flatbed ward, a mosquito bite brings back to life the only survivor of that massacre – an emaciated angel with stale straw hair, “the most deadly woman in the world” – the Bride (Thurman). nine0003

Like his lyrical heroine, Tarantino at the beginning of the 2000s was not written off only by the most prudent. Like her, after a five-year-long coma, he deftly performed the trick of resurrecting from the dead and then performing miracles. The saint of the postmodern that has stepped into the masses, the icon of the generation living and working under the slogan “so that everyone yells”, the one on whose example they liked to explain that cinema is cinema, it doesn’t hurt, it’s not scary, it’s not a pity, affectionately corrected everyone who loved him for blood and ha ha: guys, you didn’t understand anything. The world of Kill Bill, in which a samurai sword can be taken on a plane as hand luggage, and killers have the status and habits of rock stars, this deliberately fake celluloid universe breathes, moreover, with emotions of such strength and authenticity, which many people living in the world do not dream of. deed. Here it is not only incredibly funny, but also painful, and scary, and sorry to tears – especially Bill. The notorious compilation method of Tarantino, who collects each of his works from the best moments of a hundred thousand favorite films, here no longer looks like a game of constructor, but an alchemical process. If cinema is the distillate of life, then Kill Bill is the distillate of a distillate, a two hundred percent solution, feelings reduced to an acid concentration and no longer needing the approval of what is commonly called the mind. No wonder the bullet that pierces the head of the Bride in the opening credits of the first series fails to hit the vital organs. They are simply not there. To kill her, it was necessary to aim at the heart. nine0003

Andy Warhol, creating a portrait of Marilyn Monroe, glued many, many absolutely identical posters of her with her smile. Tarantino has collected many quotes from different films into a postmodern mosaic. He chose images that are iconic for each culture.
America. An exemplary housewife (necessarily black!) prepares oatmeal porridge for her daughter. A big-eyed blonde with flowing hair drives around in a sports car (in Russian translation, the name of the vehicle sounds more delicate – “shmarovozka”). Real Texans still wear cowboy hats and pointy boots. nine0104 Japan. Anime. Kimono. A young assassin dressed as a schoolgirl. Unearthly beauty garden flooded with moonlight. Short, capacious remarks: “Well, you got yourself, stupid white rabbit!”. And of course, samurai swords.
All these images add up to a bizarrely intricate puzzle. Sounds unknown-why-familiar melodies. The picture from glossy color suddenly becomes succinctly black and white. Fountains of blood splash abundantly, severed limbs fly in different directions. At some point, you forget about the story that is unfolding before your eyes, and just enjoy this incredible, but very beautifully filmed, nonsense. And yet the plot, worthy of a simple soap opera, does not let go. The film is impossible not to watch to the end. Although the ending seems quite predictable at first, after the first murder it becomes clear: this blue-eyed lanky revenge lady will kill her former colleagues one by one, and then savoryly chop up the most mysterious Bill. However, not everything is so simple – at the end of the first part, the viewer is in for a surprise that will make him watch the sequel. nine0003

42 reviews, 51 ratings, rating 117 there are not pleasant moments, but in general the film is good… that her wedding was upset by a group of mercenaries led by Bill. He put a bullet in her head. She draws up blacklist number 5 and gradually begins to remove the people on this list. Bill is the last on the list. I watched Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs” and it seems to me that his films are filled with unnecessary cruelty there. I want to watch Kill Bill 2. Uma Thurman plays well. I can’t help but notice that very good music is used in the film. Recommended for people with a stable mind. Well, it’s not really a children’s film. Usually this happens very often, but after watching it I wanted to learn how to fight with samurai swords. nine0003

(review of both parts)

Even without knowing Tarantino’s biography, after this picture it is easy to understand that he grew up without his father. And this theme of an incomplete family is the leitmotif of Kill Bill. Where the director in the role of Bill, apparently, portrayed himself, in artistic comprehension.

Bill grew up in a family without a father, and therefore from childhood he tried to find a replacement for him – he was looking for authoritative men, on whose opinion he could rely and whose respect he would like to cherish. Among them are Hattori Hanzo, Pai Mei and the first – Esteban Vihayo. Growing up under the tutelage of the pimp Vihayo, Bill creates around him the same circle of girls who grew up without a family. Deprived of a family in childhood, these girls, when such an opportunity presents itself (pregnancy), are ready to create it themselves – Copperhead raises her daughter, and the Black Mamba wanted to start a family, however, also incomplete, but Bill did not allow her – growing up in an incomplete family, he too grabs the chance to create his own hearth, and also incomplete. nine0003

The curse of an incomplete family hangs over the members of this “circle” – an internal rule learned in childhood and reproduced in adulthood. The inability to look at the world differently, pushing back the prism given in childhood, does not allow the heroes to leave the vicious circle. Here, Bill is right: Superman can wear Clark’s costume, but he will remain Superman.

Another example on the same topic: The black mamba would seem to have found a family and will live happily ever after with her daughter, but – as we remember – she told Copperhead’s little daughter that she was waiting for her to come to take revenge. This means that the story of revenge and murder will repeat itself again and again: Bill took revenge on the Black Mamba for the wedding, the Black Mamba – for violence against himself, the little girl will avenge the murder of her mother. How O-Ren avenged the murder of her parents. nine0003

Question: Why are snakes so eager to destroy the Black Mamba? because she is their rival for Bill’s affection and attention. A sort of Oedipus complex.

I liked the movie. Unusual. Lots of fights, mess. Good storyline and great directing. What else do you need?!

Robert Richardson

67 years old, films: 33

He is distinguished by his stable work with directors: he directed 11 films by Oliver Stone and 7 films by Martin Scorsese. He also worked on all of Quentin Tarantino’s recent films, starting with the Kill Bill dilogy. Richardson always puts a good shot at the forefront, sometimes even risking his life. For example, on the set of The Aviator, he got so close to a flaming plane that he burned his sneakers. This willingness to burn out at work was appreciated by film academics (Richardson has three Oscars).
