AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Fishers Run KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • KinderCare in Victor is one of the best parenting choices we have made so far! We entered the daycare scene after a turbulent three years of family run in home care; very nervous about what we would encounter. What we found was the most amazing center with teachers who truly care! We soon learned that our son had some social/behavioral development delays; which presented some definite challenges for the day to day. We were so thankful for the time and energy offered him each day. There was never a moment where he was made to feel different, excluded or where the other children viewed him differently. There was never a feeling as though we were putting them out by bringing him there, or a fear of what would happen while we were not with him. Quite the contrary, the teachers were inclusive, out-going, giving and loving. They truly offered the best of themselves to help him find the best in himself! They looked for and found the best ways to reach and challenge him on his level. I am not sure how they manage to get and keep such amazing staff, but somehow they have mastered the art! If we were to do it all over again, we would skip the first three years of in home with family, and go straight to KinderCare! Our child is now a happy, healthy, and well rounded five year old! He loves school breaks when he can return to KinderCare all day, because he knows he is loved, valued and accepted.

  • KinderCare Fishers Run has been nothing short of amazing to our son, and to us as parents, from day one. Our son started there when he was seven weeks old, and since that day we have felt like we have an extended part of our family. The teachers treat our son as if he is their own, and there are no words to express the gratitude we have as parents for that. Seeing our son smile when we drop him off and pick him up reassures us that we made the right decision with enrolling him at KinderCare. We are so grateful to every single staff member in that center for what they do daily for not only our son but his little friends, too. There is tremendous comfort in knowing that your child is happy, safe and loved while he is away from home. And that he is learning and growing with the necessary support each and every day. We love KinderCare Fishers Run.

The Grondin Family – KinderCare Parent
  • We have experienced each level of education and care at the Fishers Run KinderCare with three children since 2009 when we moved into the area. Due to the intimate nature of the Fishers Run KinderCare the teachers really get to know the kids and their unique personalities so they are able to meet each child where they are at on any given day. I have found the staff to be incredibly professional and educated, yet nurturing and flexible at the same time. I would highly recommend KinderCare to any family in the area as all three of our children were cared for, loved, and well prepared for Kindergarten when they turned five.

The White Family – KinderCare Parent
  • Our twin toddlers absolutely love KinderCare! They didn’t even notice we were gone when they dropped them off their first day. It is a great feeling knowing your children are well taken care of!

The Smith Family – KinderCare Parent
  • We are a huge fan of the Fishers Run KinderCare! Our only child attends the Prekindergarten program and we are so pleased with the personal attention he gets and the loving care the teachers provide. I never have to worry while at work and when our next little one comes along we will certainly enroll him or her at the same center. We love this place!

Nikolai Nekrasov – poems

Nikolai Nekrasov

Fishermen

I saw the fishermen, how they were on a summer day,
Mossy cliff hiding in the shade,
They were cheerfully throwing nets along the river,
They were fishermen – inexperienced children.
The eldest youth was flourishing and alive,
He made a basting with a trembling hand
And, slowly dragging along the emerald moisture,
He pulled on the golden sand with meager prey.
Oh, how much joy and laughter without end,
When they happened to have roach or char
With a basting, take out to the sandy-unsteady shore!
How they amused themselves with a silver-scaled fish,
When it was in nets, slipping from children’s hands,
Suddenly it covered them with living splashes. Oh, dear children, grief is still alien to you!
Years will come in succession, and on the boundless sea,
Which now splashes you invitingly,
Your thought will rush carefully along the waves;
But the heart will hold like a pure prayer,
Children’s fun, careless fishing. May 1835
