What Is Child Care Resource and Referral?

We are the front door for contacting the Coalition to find information on services and programs. We are families’ source for child care and parenting-related needs.

There is no charge for our services to parents or providers. The Coalition offers referrals, not recommendations.

All information gathered by the staff of Child Care Resource and Referral, (CCR&R) including names of parents and their children, addresses, income, and any private details pertaining to any family members applicable to serving the parent’s needs, is kept private and confidential. No parent information is shared verbally or in writing with any outside party.

All families receiving Child Care Resource and Referral services will be contacted to complete a voluntary survey to gauge your customer service experience with our office. All responses are anonymous and confidential and will not affect your services.

How Can We Help?

CCR&R will assist you with the information you need to make a careful and informed choice of early learning or child care provider. Which curriculum is right for your child’s learning style? How do you know a provider is offering age-appropriate activities? What are the indicators of quality programs? These questions and others you may have are answered with a call to one of our caring and experienced Family Services Specialists. The information also includes a referral listing of licensed or approved providers operating in Miami-Dade/Monroe Counties. Your provider listing is based on your needs and matches those with the provider’s services. The search details can also include location, care schedule, curriculum offered, the program’s environment, and other services the provider offers, such as transportation. If you need more than just child care, your Early Learning Specialist can assist with referrals to other services. Whether you need to find information on parenting, financial aid, or area social service agencies we are ready to help. We can also assist parents with child care and related services for children with special needs.

Most importantly, we suggest that you choose child care based on its quality. Our parent-friendly checklists offer practical tips for evaluating programs. And always remember to check licensing histories at http://www.myflfamilies.com/service-programs/child-care

This is my city: actress Katerina Shpitsa

About love for the Sokol district, about fearless Muscovites, about the release of her biography “Life in Episodes” published by the AST publishing house, and about the book of the Nobel laureate voiced especially for Inspiria.

Childhood…

My parents lived in Inta. During maternity leave, my mother went to her hometown, Perm, and I was unexpectedly born there prematurely. Annoyingly late for discharge due to problems with the flight, my father came for me and my mother, and when I was 11 days old, we flew back to Inta, where we lived until 1998 years.

I had a wonderful childhood there: with colorful northern lights right outside the window of the fourth floor, with bitter frosts, cheerful family outings in nature … At minus 40, I calmly rode the bus to school and did not freeze, even though my eyelashes were covered with white mascara . We just warmly and properly dressed in things made from natural fabrics and animal skins. There is nothing warmer than a sheepskin coat or a sheepskin coat – the secret of a northerner! They put on shoes in winter in felt boots and pimas – they never froze their fingers. Under the outerwear there was always a couple more layers of insulation: cotton underwear, woolen leggings and sweaters. nine0003

In Inta, I studied at a private French school with a good level of education. And my first steps in creativity happened there.

When I was under 13, we moved to Perm. The move was not easy: it was necessary to get used to the new school, albeit a very good one, to build friendship with new guys. In the fall of 1998, I entered the theater studio, and the new life carried me away and spun me in a happy whirlpool of events. However, it was very difficult for me to feel the city itself. I was never able to love him with all my heart, as they love a warm image of something intangible, but having its own character. I failed to connect in my mind Perm, which, of course, has its own face, and many of my favorite people living in this city. For some reason, in my youth, I did not see him, did not feel that energy. It was difficult for me to write essays “about my beloved Perm” – my passion for fiction rescued me …

In my mind, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, New York, the tiny Polish town of Wroclaw, the Ukrainian village of Stetsovka, where I spent every summer, have a clear emotional image, and the image of Perm – such that I could close my eyes and, nostalgically , to imagine the familiar streets, feeling the tenderness in every heartbeat – no. Although there are many beautiful places there: the most beautiful central Komsomolsky Prospekt, the Gorky Park of Culture and Leisure, where I often rode rides, museums, architectural monuments … I rarely walked along the Kama embankment. nine0003

As in Inta, I was an excellent student at the Perm school. In high school, in addition to the theater studio at the Palace of Youth Creativity, I went to many classes: the school musical studio, the francophone theater, participated in olympiads, went to festivals. My colleagues in the theater were older than me: pretty quickly I moved from the junior team to the main team – everyone was already studying at universities or working there. There was a place to learn bad things, for example, to drink beer through puffs … This is a joke! Mom, don’t read this! From my youth I saw life and people in different manifestations, but I always chose health, creativity and education. nine0003

I ended up in Moscow…

By chance. After the first course, on the way back from vacation, I found a job here as a dancer at an exhibition for 14 days. And there I met people who then, step by step, through a chain of fateful meetings, led me to my first film role. But, of course, I myself have never been a blind kitten, I walked boldly.

I fell in love with Moscow immediately, even when I was passing through it. My first completely independent trip happened when I was 15 years old. I went to my grandmother by train: Perm – Moscow, Moscow – Kyiv. There was a lot of free time between trains. I remember how I then went for a walk around Moscow: I stood on the bridge, looked at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior – it was a sunny day, the domes shone, the river sparkled … Even Peter’s terrible little boat did not seem to me as awkward as it seems now. nine0003

Comparing Moscow with other cities…

Moscow is my real home. I have already lived in it longer than in Inta and Perm separately. A little more, and the time of life here will exceed in number the years I spent in the cities of childhood and youth combined. And also in terms of quality. Our love is deeper for those cities where we develop the work of life, where we meet our beloved, where children are born and go to first grade. We are attracted by the unique energy of the place, each person has his own. You can say as much as you like that energies are esoteric nonsense or just idealism, but the fact is that in one place a person is especially comfortable and good, while in another the heart beats evenly or even everything around is not pleasant. We choose one city for life, in another we want to be only a tourist. For example, now I don’t want to live anywhere but Moscow. I love St. Petersburg, but for me it is first of all a city-museum, and three days there are enough for me to gain impressions. I love Sochi, especially its mountainous regions, but I don’t want to settle there for permanent residence. You always need something else besides visual and aesthetic pleasure. From the first day in Moscow, I felt like a Muscovite, even without clear career prospects then. nine0003

Speaking of energy, inside Moscow I have favorite and least favorite areas. For the first eight months I lived in the apartment of a friend of our family on Proletarskaya. A nice neighborhood, spacious, with its own legends, but I remained by and large indifferent to it, but I treated it with respect. Then, when I started filming my first film, the film crew rented me a service apartment on Rostokinskaya Street – beautiful, bright, modest, with a good repair and a cozy balcony. And she was, as I like, on a high floor. I loved the apartment, the area, again, not particularly. I didn’t like taking the bus from the subway. In addition, during that year, with all my discretion, I several times became a victim of pickpockets. Love with Rostokino did not work out. nine0003

Well, then, by the will of fate, I ended up living in the area that I fell in love with – Sokol! From the window one could see Chapaevsky Park. I loved to walk from the metro to my house along the wide, noisy Leningradsky Prospekt. Then I changed rented apartments for several more years, cruising mainly in the north of the capital (with brief absences to Michurinsky Prospekt and Bolshevo), until I got my own housing in the Aeroport metro area. Now my parents live in my small apartment, and my husband and I rent a larger area in the neighborhood. nine0003

I notice that I am happy to go on business again to the north of the city, to the very center, to the Arbat area, Moscow City, Strogino, but I am reluctant to go strictly to the south or east. To move to the southwest on business is a whole story. Metro helps! I am indifferent to Leninsky Prospekt, but I adore Kutuzovsky. Once upon a time, my friend and I walked for a long time from the Kievsky railway station to Dynamo through the Garden Ring. Great pleasure!

Now I live…

In the most cinematic district. When I bought my first small apartment at the Airport many years ago, I didn’t even have a clue in which area I was looking. Given my budget, the selection from the realtor was poor. The first option was monstrous – at Kantemirovskaya. From the mere location, almost in the industrial zone, it became more difficult for me to breathe. I said to myself: “Factory pipes from the window – no way!” The second apartment is at the “River Station”, I also dismissed it because of the great distance from the metro: 30 minutes on foot after sunset for a lonely girl is still an attraction. And so we arrived at the airport. I get out of the realtor’s car, look at the seemingly unsightly panel house and the trees around it and understand what I like! The apartment was with a simple, but quite stylish for those times (it was 2009year) social repair – I lived there for many years, without changing anything globally. And later, of course, I found out how many filmmakers lived and live in the neighborhood. Iconic!

I have a good area. The metro is 12 minutes at a brisk pace, it is convenient to go to any station in any traffic situation, Sheremetyevo is almost nearby. I’m great here.

I like to walk…

Oddly enough, we go for walks mainly to parks in other districts, but still we visit Chapaevsky Park quite often. I love the spacious and airy Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo, there is a pleasant energy. Timiryazevsky Park is located right behind my house (although we have to cross the railway tracks, and we are all waiting for the overpass to be built; all cyclists in the area will be grateful to the builders), but we go there mainly in winter to ride on the frozen lakes on “cheesecakes”. In the summer, I have never been there yet – a paradox! And the parents ride bikes there, well done. nine0003

My son and I love the VDNKh park and the Botanical Garden, Gorky Park, Razdolie near Odintsovo – wonderful places. I really like the Hermitage and Bauman gardens, the Tagansky children’s park. Since I am a mother, I was with my son in many places. We traveled to all kinds of parks – it’s great that we have so many of them in Moscow.

I’m worried about Moscow…

I quite often use public transport (mainly metro) — when I’m there, I catch myself thinking: what is it like for wheelchair users?! I know that the word “disabled” is considered bad, it is now tabooed, but in certificates it is written that way, so we will call a spade a spade, as in laws. I look around: why don’t I see disabled people on walks? Not because there are none in the city, but because people sit in their five-story buildings without elevators and without ramps. I always wondered why, with the availability of technology, they built five-story buildings without such necessary fixtures. An elevator should be in any building, even a two-story one, like a ramp. If a disabled person has a problem of a non-mental nature and he is capable, then he should have the opportunity, without feeling humiliated by society, to independently get out into the street when he wants. And people have to wait for someone to help them. nine0003

My favorite school teacher lives in Perm. Many years ago, a disaster happened to her: a car drove onto the sidewalk at high speed and knocked her down – only by a miracle not to death. She is well done: although she is very elderly, she survived and, as she could, despite severe injuries and fractures, improved her health, but the consequences make themselves felt. When we talk on the phone, I often hear from her: “Now I almost don’t go anywhere, it’s hard to go down and up the stairs, and there’s ice …” I can imagine what it’s like for an elderly woman with dizziness and a sore leg, at least to the bench at reach the entrance. What can we say about wheelchairs! We want to have a real inclusive environment everywhere in our country. nine0003

Speaking of Moscow, looking back at Berlin, Paris and New York…

Moscow is a very comfortable city to live in. Perhaps the only one in the world where you can find everything you need 24 hours a day: public catering, shops with a large selection of products and even non-food items; we do not have the most stringent, comparing with Europe, parking conditions. Yes, it has become a little more difficult for motorists in recent years, but in a sense this is not bad: those who really need to use their own car will continue, and those who bought a car for show off will change to a taxi so as not to pay for very expensive parking in the center. Despite all the dissatisfaction of motorists, it seems to me that this is a kind of filter. nine0003

If not Moscow, then…

Absolutely different places. Impressions are divided into two large groups: some we get from enjoying the views of nature, others are the work of human hands – masterpieces of architecture and other examples of art. For reunion with nature, I go to a place where, immediately, going out onto the balcony of a hotel room, I can contemplate the main beauty of planet Earth: a forest, mountains, sea or river. As I already said, I love Sochi, Crimea, the Baltic coasts. My dream is to visit Altai and Kamchatka. And there are a huge number of cities where you can admire architecture in our country and in the world. Guide to help. At random, you can poke your finger at the map and go on an interesting path. So I recently spontaneously visited Borovsk. nine0003

I haven’t been to exotic countries much. Not so long ago I began to ride on them – only last year I first came to the Seychelles. Before that, from the warm regions, she visited Turkey, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam and the business part of India – Mumbai. Thailand, Bali, Egypt, Goa, Maldives have not visited yet.

I didn’t travel much in Europe either, mostly very short trips: I liked London, Riga, Tallinn, Warsaw, Rome, Paris, Geneva, the ski resort in Chamonix Les Trois Vallées. Through Finland, I had a rally to the Arctic Circle, but we did not stop in Helsinki. nine0003

I would like to visit Vienna. I saw Barcelona, I would like to get acquainted with Madrid – judging by the guidebooks, they are very different. Oh, it’s better not to think about the fact that in a lifetime it is impossible to read all the best books and visit all the most beautiful places on the planet. This storehouse of impressions is inexhaustible – you can travel endlessly, there would be an opportunity, which consists of free time and money.

Muscovites are different from residents of other cities…

Globalization has gained such momentum over the past decade that it is now difficult for me, looking at a person, to determine whether he is a native Muscovite or, being perfectly educated, gifted, grasping, came from somewhere in the outback. I myself “came in large numbers”, but my son is already a Muscovite by birth. nine0003

Moskvich is deeper and more than a derivative of a toponym, it is a characteristic of a person. It is clear that Muscovites come in different qualities – both with a “plus” and “minus” sign, but for me this concept includes, first of all, energy, mobility, and efficiency. Muscovites are people without fear, enterprising and creative. May Moscow forgive me, everyone can become a Muscovite if it is really necessary for their development. It’s just that Moscow, as a city in itself, should not be set as a goal. At the same time, you don’t have to think where you were born, it came in handy there. A reasonable balance is needed. And in your hometown you can develop the business of life and be indispensable there – to have a business, treat people, do something necessary and useful. For example, to be a first-class locksmith or work at a school, if your vocation is teaching, and your heart rejoices that you are forging the future of the country in the person of your pupils. nine0003

My biography “Life in Episodes”, published by the publishing house AST…

The leading editor of AST, she and only she, called me for a year and suggested: “Katya, write or let’s write.” I answered that “we’ll write” definitely doesn’t suit me – I will do everything only myself. Not to say that there were doubts – to write or not. I just felt that the time had not come: I was not ready to take on, to surrender to the process fully. Then, a year later, I realized that I was mature and ready to pay due attention to the text, because the main thing for me is that everything is of high quality. She sat down and began to write without unnecessary thoughts, why should I do this. nine0003

This book reveals me more as a person than as an actress. I do not like the word “memoirs”, in this term there is a veil of whiteness with gray hairs. It is believed that a memoir has the right to be written by a person who confirmed it with 150 years of life. So the word “autobiography” is more to my liking. It is interesting, of course, different perception of other people’s thoughts in the form of posts and in the form of a book. It is surprising that with all the digitalization of the world, with the development of the Internet and blogging, a certain ranking of the design of conclusions according to the status and courage of the author to declare himself is still held in the minds of society. If you poked something with your finger on your phone and published it in a public free post – let it go, write; and if, roughly speaking, you included several such posts in a book on paper and asked to pay money for reading, indignant exclamations are heard: “I wrote the book at 35, how bold and even presumptuous!” Then the question naturally arises: why do you read my posts and even praise them if you think that I have no moral right to write a book with similar content? Kamon, guys, in the digital space you are already 100% perpetuating yourself. Manuscripts do not burn – about something else. nine0003

Of course, my book is not a collection of posts, but a great literary journey into my past and an invitation to the present. I tried to answer the questions that I am often asked, and to talk about what, perhaps, I would not dare to ask. I didn’t feel like I was targeting a specific reader with a specific background and background. I wanted to write the most philanthropic thing, universal.

It’s so great that I voiced the book “Clara and the Sun” for the editors of Inspiria …

As a child, I listened to many books on records. It is pleasant and valuable to touch this kind of art.

“Clara and the Sun” is a very good artistic text, beneficial for an artist. This work was written by the Nobel laureate, incredible author, British-Japanese Kazuo Ishiguro.

So far, I have not decided to listen to my recording in full, although I bought and downloaded the audiobook immediately after the release. But I’m afraid that I want to redo! I am much more demanding of myself than others, I notice what others do not even see. As merciless as a movie camera! She sees more than the human eye. It is the lens that notices the first signs of aging. So I look out for my own sins especially vigilantly. nine0003

I wish Muscovites…

Love your city and try to know as much as possible about it. And do not limit your knowledge to the features of Moscow. Russia is worthy of a deep study of history through territories.

The Polis Group of Companies summed up the results of work in 2022. For 12 months, the developer put into operation 202,186.3 sq. m. m of housing for 5329 apartments.

This result was achieved due to the completion of the construction of the last stage of the residential complex “Polis on Komendantsky” in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, as well as the early commissioning of the residential complex “My World” in the city of Murino.

The volume of the company’s transactions for the sale of apartments in 2022 amounted to 2,277. Of these, 89% are mortgages.

In 2022, the company was actively working towards the construction of social facilities. An outpatient clinic and a kindergarten for 100 children were built in one of the three buildings of the residential complex “My World”. In Kudrovo, the grand opening of the Kudrovo Combined Kindergarten No. 1 for 160 children took place, and the construction of a school for 1,000 children is nearing completion. In the summer of 2022, the doors of the new adult multidisciplinary polyclinic Polis were opened for residents of the Primorsky District, and a kindergarten was opened in the residential complex Polis on Moskovskaya. nine0113

One of the milestone events of the company was the rebranding of the organization — not only the visual component of the brand was qualitatively transformed, but also its positioning. The prerequisite was the changing demands of buyers and new trends in real estate.

On the whole, Polis Group positively assessed the results of the year and stressed that despite the difficult economic situation, the annual sales plan was fully met.

As Igor Belov, CEO of Polis Group, noted, 2022 was quite active for the company. Two new properties were put on sale – the Polis Lavriki residential complex and the Polis Novoselye residential complex, the My World residential complex was commissioned ahead of schedule, and rebranding was carried out. Projects that are scheduled to be put into operation in 2022 are at a high stage of readiness. Among them is the residential complex “Polis Primorsky”, for which at the end of December 2022 a conclusion on compliance was already received. nine0113

In addition, the Polis group of companies received the gold badge “Reliable Developer of Russia” for the highest achievements in the field of observance of the legal rights and interests of participants in shared construction following the results of 2022 in two regions at once: St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
