University Cooperation – InPro electric

University cooperation

As a company driven by innovation and technology, we cooperate with universities and colleges, even across the globe.
We also offer students the opportunity to complete an internship in our company and support the Bachelor’s or Master’s dissertation, if the course of studies and subject matter are right for us.

Emden/Leer University

We have had a very close cooperation with the University of Emden/Leer for years.
For example, the University of Emden/Leer offers students from the fields of electrical engineering, IT and media technology an in-depth study in “Sales and Marketing”. By participating in so-called sales modules, you can learn about typical sales processes. InPro electric has been assisting the University of Emden/Leer with practical seminars on the subject of “calculation for technical sales” and “project management and sales” for ten years now.

University of Applied Science Bremen

We were able to establish another new instance of strategic university cooperation with the University of Bremen.

The University of Bremen offers more than 60 different courses of studies in five departments.

Since the winter term 2017/18, the University of Bremen has offered a new course of studies in mechatronic engineering/automation. It lets students choose between the two profiles of mechatronic engineering and automation technology to specialise in their studies.

Due to the local proximity and our core competence of “production automation in the automotive industry”, it was only logical for us to become a future practice partner of the dual course of studies in mechatronic engineering/automation.

Starting in the next winter term 2018/2019, we offer you the option of a dual version of this course of studies with InPro electric as practice partner.

Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven

In addition, InPro electric cooperates with Jade University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven.
We are now offering courses at Jade University with practical experience in the field of electrical engineering as summer and winter semesters.
This practical course of studies with academic support allows students to gain experience for their future professional career through individual practical phases at InPro electric while studying.

University of Applied Science Magdeburg-Stendal

Industrial change and globalisation strongly change the markets of today and tomorrow. In particular in the automotive industry, future business is shifting onto international markets.

We are where our customer is!

In order to counter the specialist deficit, we would like to promote our future young talent during their studies. We are looking for employees with enthusiasm and interest in acting on the international markets and who want to develop not only professionally but, in particular, on a personal level.

We have found a strategic partner in the University of Magdeburg/Stendal who supports us in giving students practice-related insights into international work in the automotive industry.

Starting in the summer term of 2018, we cooperate with the University of Magdeburg/Stendal to offer a practice-oriented master’s course of studies with a stay abroad at our Chinese subsidiary and participation in selected lectures at the Changchun University of Technology.

At the beginning of your master’s course, we will give you an employment contract. During the non-lecture period, you will go through various practice phases in currently ongoing projects and will be prepared for your stay in China with language lessons. After your return from China, you will complete your colloquium at the University of Magdeburg/Stendal. After successfully completing your master’s exam, you will be employed at InPro electric.

Technical University of Central Hesse

Another cooperation partner is the Technical University of Central Hesse in Gießen. InPro electric regularly attends the career fairs along with other companies. We offer students at the THM Gießen internships, project work and final dissertations, among other things.

Universidad Politècnica de València

We are also very keen on establishing close contacts with international universities or technical universities at an early stage so that we can give students an insight into the future practice.
Our Spanish subsidiary InPro electric España S. L. in Valencia cooperates with the Universidad Politècnica de València to this end and offers seminars in the field of project management.

Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla

The cooperation between the University of Emden/Leer, the Mexican university of Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) and InPro electric is of an innovative pilot nature. Every year, two students from Emden (Master course for Industrial Informatics) and from Puebla will not only have the opportunity to study at the other university, they will also be employed by InPro electric in order to gain practical experience while studying. The final dissertation will also be jointly prepared by the seconding universities and InPro electric. After graduation, the students continue to work for our company.

Politechnika Śląska

In 2017, InPro electric GmbH founded another subsidiary: InPro electric Sp. Z o.o in Katowice, Poland. At the same time, we have made it our target to develop the new engineering site with qualified young talent from local universities.

We have found a strong cooperation partner in the diverse electrical-engineering offer of the Silesian Technical University Gliwice that enables us to specifically promote students at the Silesian Technical University Gliwice whom we can gain as employees after they successfully complete their studies.

InPro electric Sp. Z o.o provides the Silesian Technical University Gliwice with a robot cell in order to teach students practice-relevant contents of automation technology and our core competence of “Production automation in the automotive industry” during their university studies.

Among others, the robot serves the purpose of promotion, demonstration, training and education. As a pedagogic exhibit, this robot cell can also be used in research in the scope of promotion to demonstrate and teach robotics as well as programming of the PLC control at the department for automation, electronics and computer sciences.

InPro electric will prepare a handling task as first application for the robot by students. A simple and quick change system for the “work plates” makes switches to different applications quick.

This robot is a new model from KUKA: KUKA KR 20 R1810 Cybertech in the Safe design.

This cell uses the latest technology of leading automation technology manufacturers.

The cell is controlled with a state-of-the-art SIEMENS CPU SIMATIC S7-1500F as PLC, using the current TIA Portal.

Visualisation uses the software WinCC Advanced.

Changchun University of Technology

International training and promotion of young and motivated students has become a global focus of Inpro electric. Accordingly, we have been looking for a strategic cooperation partner at our site in China as well, to enable us to build contact with the students early on and to give students some early practical experience at InPro electric. The cooperation is targeted at developing local staff in China in the long term to deploy in our projects around the world.

We offer a student exchange between the University of Magdeburg/Stendal and the University of Technology Changchun, with Inpro electric acting as sponsor and practice partner starting in 2018. Every year, two German students from the Bachelor’s or Master’s course of the department of electrical engineering will be able to complete training at the university in parallel to their studies, with about ten months spent abroad. Students of the bachelor’s course at the University of Magdeburg can apply for the program starting in their third semesters. Students of the master’s course will begin in their first master’s course semester. Participants in the program will receive an employment contract from us, gain initial experience in automation technology in the automotive industry and receive language lessons to prepare them for their stay in China. The students of the University of Technology Changchun in China go roughly through the same sequence, adjusted to the Chinese studies regulations, and complete the program with a ten-month stay in Germany.

After successful completion, students will receive an employment contract from us, along with the option of working for one of our sites anywhere in the world.
