My husband and I both grew up going to in-home daycares, so that was what we set out to find. I had pretty much lost all hope when we got a reference for Little Critters from a friend of a friend. The moment we walked in, we knew that it would be the place for our son.
The home setting is so inviting and is set up for both fun and learning. Dropping off a two-month old is incredibly hard, but Jeena and Krystal were both so warm, caring and understanding that you couldn’t help but know that your little one would be taken good care of. Thirty months later, we are still there, still thrilled…and my son insists on giving Jeena and Krystal a goodbye hug everyday. My family’s experience has been so wonderful that I was as relaxed as a second time mom could be the day I dropped off my second son at two months. It is a true family environment filled with love and learning for both of our boys. We feel very blessed to have stumbled upon this gem.

As a first time mom, finding childcare for my tiny new baby was a nightmare. I didn’t know where to start and I didn’t know how to sort through the emotions. We toured every “brick and mortar” daycare in a 10 mile radius. We put down non-refundable deposits and our names on waiting lists for a spot at the “best of the best” daycares.
All the while I couldn’t shake my feeling that these places were impersonal and my son would be put in que. It always felt like I was visiting the puppy pound when I watched these children peep their heads up from the cribs wondering if it were their turn to go home.
Finally, we found Little Critters in Home Daycare via a recommendation from good friends. I immediately felt more at ease and comfortable with the idea of leaving my baby for the 1st time. It was an easy decision once I met Jeena and was invited into to her home.
Now my son is 19 months old and absolutely loves the place. Little Critters does more than provide a safe and happy daycare. They work with your child on all the milestones that come with being a kid and learning new things. They have helped a first time mom figure out a regular routine that we can follow at home. I love it when my son sings a new song or says something new that we know we didn’t teach him. It shows us how much he learns at Little Critters and how lucky we are to have found them.

I have used Little Critters Daycare several times for my 10 month old son. I feel totally comfortable with their care. I believe that it gives my son good social skills to play with other children. It is a clean environment that promotes learning and fun. Jeena is very conscientious about how you raise your child (i.e.schedule, feeding habits, nap routine, etc). Whenever I need child care for my son, LIttle Critters is the first and only place I chose to take my son.
