Infants will set their own schedules with naps and will be placed on their backs only for SIDS prevention. We will follow their individual feeding schedules as well, unless otherwise specified by parent/guardian. Our infant care services emphasize stimulating the senses (tactile, auditory, visual, etc.
) and imitating behavior with activities.
Toddlers (16 Months-2 Years Old)
We will work to form a regular daily schedule with our toddlers. By providing situations in which children can actively problem solve and become more self-sufficient, we will encourage children to imitate desired behavior as well. Our child care service staff will improve language abilities by asking open-ended questions and encourage interacting with others. We focus on muscle coordination with our activities to initiate development. We can also provide toilet training when a child is ready.
Preschool & Up (3-5 Years Old)
Our preschoolers can interact in regularly scheduled activities to get them adapted to a routine. We continue to work on problem solving and reasoning abilities while stimulating their communication skills with fellow children and staff members with open-ended questions. Preschoolers can express themselves with creative activities that develop their special interests.

Prior to the military as an IT tech at my college campus, I worked at Lego inthe Houston, TX for 5 years. At Lego, I dealt with plenty of children at one time during a stressful environment and I had to keep them all entertained at one time (not as easy as it sounds). I was in charge of a few heavily populated functions at the lego store, and while I ran the function, I taught kids how to build and create their own imaginative creations. Prior to working at lego I was a Sunday school teacher at my church. I dealt with about 5-8 1-4-year-olds and had to keep them all still and quiet at one time during service.
