I toured this facility and it smelled like feces and bleach. It was the most disgusting burning smell. The cost estimate is way below what is actually charged. Other sites rate their compliance reviews and it is not good. I would not recommend this facility.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.

We LOVE this school because they really get involved with their students. They treat each and everyone exactly the same no teacher pets as we called it. All is equal at this school. I want to say thank you for carrying the way you do.

I think this school overall is a good school with a few exceptions! I am not sure the substitute teachers they hire have been screened properly. I have had several bad reports that on several occasions the substitute teachers yell at the students and sit in class and eat all day in from to the students which should not be permitted! I don’t know of any job where eating all day is permitted but the main complaint I have is how rude the subs treat the children when their teacher is out for the day. It is hard for students when their day is disrupted with a fill in teacher and for that teacher to be rude and downright mean when they are used to be treated good by their full time teacher is not right! I feel when there is a substitute teacher they should not be permitted to yell at children under any circumstance! Crushing a child’s spirit or making them feel embarrassed should never be permitted it could be handled by taking them aside and speaking in private about issues the teacher has with a child!

If I had it any other way, I would not have my children go to this school. Most of the people I have dealt with are rude. They ask for the numbers they should call in case of children getting sick (a million times, it seems like), and then the time comes to use said numbers and they don’t even call the right numbers. The teacher that my child had last year was all sunshine and happiness (and said she just loved our child), in front of us, but when we weren’t there she was telling my daughter that she was a bad kid. Would not recommend this school to anyone, unless you are rich and then they don’t have any problem with you.

My son attended here a year ago for his Kindergarten year. His teacher gave him bad behavior marks often when I asked why, I received written reasons like “smiled at a fellow student while walking to desk” and “crossed his eyes during story time”…really?! Then he was expected to do homework he couldn’t do. I spent like 2 hours trying to teach him in the evenings but the curriculum and time restraint made it hard to help him catch up. At a teacher/parent meeting, she told me he had a “dis-connect.” He began speaking very early and always received compliments from Sunday school teachers on behavior- never an issue, always a bright boy! During his kindergarten year, he seemed to even forget some of what I had taught him and became frustrated and discouraged. Then, he set back on some faulty playground equipment and got a 1″ bleeding gash in his head that had to have 2 staples. No apology from the school. They act like everything (learning, injuries) are the kids’ or parents’ fault. I pulled him out for 1st grade and homeschooled him. I had him tested afterwards and he is at 1st grade reading level and 2nd grade math level. I wouldn’t send my kids to this school if I were you!

Family Reviews

“Thanks for being there early so we can drop off our little ones and staying late when there’s an emergency (or horrible traffic). Thanks for reading and fostering a love of learning for our children. Thank you for keeping their active minds and bodies alert and on the go. From the bottom of my heart with happiness I thank you.”

Angela G.

Sunshine House is such a blessing. My daughter came out of her shell there, she loves her teachers. She loves all of the staff. She makes sure to go and tell every one of them goodbye before she leaves for the day. Everyone there is amazing and really nice. I recommend them to anyone who needs a daycare.

Alicia Mahaffey

This morning, my 5 year old told me he misses his old school (AKA The Sunshine House of Mauldin SC), and my heart melted! He attended the center for 4 years, and his older brother attended before that. He enjoyed every day spent with the loving teachers and his amazing little friends. We recently moved and the center was no longer in our school district, so we had to say goodbye when school started. We truly commend the caring staff that helped to make that center our home!

Top 10 Secret US Government Bunkers – Everything About Everything

There are many secret bunkers in the United States of America, most notably those built under the State Preservation Program (PRP).

In the event of a terrorist attack, nuclear attack, or other catastrophic incident, leaders of the United States government gather at top-secret facilities that can withstand massive explosions and provide everything needed to survive for extended periods of time.

Presidential Emergency Operations Center

The Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) is the most quoted bunker in popular culture. The infamous photo of former President George W. Bush at a meeting of the National Security Council following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks gives some insight into one of the safest places in the country.

During this disaster, former Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, as well as several other high-ranking government officials (mostly cabinet ministers) were rushed to the isolated and safe PEOC. It is believed to be located under the east wing of the White House, the center of executive power and the residence of the President.

Built during World War II by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, PEOC is capable of withstanding nuclear attacks and can accommodate the President and other prominent members of the US government in an emergency. While the exact specifications of PEOC are top secret, it has been said to act as a liaison to all other major PSP organizations. PEOC has appeared in blockbusters such as Olympus Has Fallen and White House Assault, as well as the Emmy-nominated series House of Cards.

The Greek Island Project (Greenbrier)

The Greek Island Project (also known as the Greenbrier) was a secret agreement between the US government and the Greenbrier Hotel (hence the name) in West Virginia in the 1950s. This magnificent hotel was to serve as a preserve for the US legislature.

The sheer size of the Greenbrier allowed the bunker to accommodate two audiences, 470 and 130 people. Despite the size of the bunker, it took 30 years to find it. Guests and hotel staff were reportedly able to see many aspects of the property, including giant armored doors.

The fact that most of the bathrooms were male (considering the predominantly male Congress) also created intrigue. Perhaps the owners of the hotel have already been asked questions about the complex, but found out about it only a few years later.

The Greenbrier included dormitories, a medical center and the latest air filtration system, a TV center and more surrounded by 1 meter thick concrete doors. Interestingly, the bunker was occupied by government officials who posed as television specialists for a non-existent company.

The Greek island project was finally exposed in an article in an important national newspaper and consequently was abandoned. Subsequently, part of the service personnel continued to work there as guides in the bunker. Today they are employees of the hotel. At the moment, there is no indication of the current location of the emergency Congress.

Raven Rock Military Complex

on Raven Rock near Summit Blue Ridge, Pennsylvania, this complex is a military facility nicknamed the Pentagon Dungeon. The mountain is home to a major telecommunications center for the US Air Force, Army and Navy in the event of a nuclear attack.

The complex was originally created as an emergency shelter during the Cold War and is still a transit point for the military command of the country’s armed forces. However, its main owner is the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, which uses various communication systems and computers.

One hypothesis is that District 13 in The Hunger Games was modeled after the Raven Rock military complex, as there are great similarities between the two in terms of overall design and function.

Cheyenne Mountain Operations Center

Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this mountain complex is a large military base and nuclear bunker. It was formerly the headquarters of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). NORAD is still based in Colorado Springs.

The complex is built in a granite rock at a depth of 760 meters and contains many buildings with armored doors weighing 25 tons. During the construction of the structure, a large number of springs were used, which could prevent the movement of any of its buildings by more than 2.5 centimeters during various kinds of natural disasters.

Originally designed to reinforce a Cold War defensive strategy, this bunker can withstand the most dangerous bombing, rocket and nuclear attacks. It is equipped with the most modern oxygen supply systems (to prevent the penetration of radiation), as well as its own power plant and water supply system. The bunker provides almost complete (99.999%) reliability of these systems.

Mount Weather Secret Bunker

Located near the Virginia State Capitol, this bunker covers an impressive 564 acres (more than 2 square kilometers) and is another government hideout. It is administered by the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

This site was classified until TWA Flight 514 crashed in the area in December 1974. Later it became known that the bunker of the President of the United States was hiding in Mount Weather. As the Washington Post later reported, Congressional leadership was flown to this bunker by helicopter following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York. Information about the bunker is limited and still up to date.

Deep Underground Command Center (DUCC)

This command center, which can be considered the most mysterious bunker, was a military facility that was proposed to be built in the early 1960s. This facility, which was to be located near the Pentagon at a depth of 900-1200 meters, was designed to withstand explosions of 200 to 300 megatons without loss of structural integrity.

DUCC reportedly recommended President John F. Kennedy shortly after the bombing. The proposal described the facility as a bunker for 50 people, expandable to 300 people. The fate of this proposal remains unknown, although there are speculations that it was rejected after the President’s death.

Olney Federal Provisioning Center

This center is somewhat of a mystery, to say the least. There is little reliable information about this bunker. However, it is known that it specializes in the functions of data networks. It is located west of Leytonsville, Maryland in Montgomery County and is reported to have a large field with antennas of unknown purpose.

Many secret excavations have been carried out on the territory of this site. Nothing is said about the excavations themselves and their purpose. This bunker also has strong links to FEMA as part of its national radio communications system that connects all other FEMA bases.

Canadian Forces Base North Bay

is located in North Bay, Ontario, north of Toronto. This structure serves as the hub for NORAD in Canada and is 60 stories underground.

During the Cold War, BKVS North Bay was in a precarious position between the Soviet Union and the US, making it a dangerous place in the event of a potential conflict. To reduce this risk, it was designed to withstand attacks that were about 267 times more powerful than the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

Although information on the North Bay BKVS is scarce, it is known to be closely associated with the founding of NORAD in the late 1950s. This object is still valid.

Warrenton Training Center

The Warrenton Training Center is a top-secret communications center in Virginia. It is primarily used by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for a variety of purposes, but it also has a bunker built as part of the PSP. The facility consists of four discreet stations in Fauquier and Culpeper counties.

As the name suggests, this facility is primarily a recruiting school for several federal agencies, including the CIA, the National Security Agency (NSA), the State Department, and the Department of Defense. While not much is known about the use of the bunker, the facility is certainly used by the NSA, the Department of Defense, and the State Department in emergencies.

Selfridge AFB Radar Station

This facility, which serves as the RS Air Force Survey RS, began operations in Michigan at 1959 year. The station is known for having at its disposal several advanced radar systems with innovative detection capabilities and the ability to coordinate the actions of several missiles, launches an anti-aircraft and anti-missile bunker.

In 1960, the Nike Air Defense Command Center (AADCP) was built to launch surface-to-air missiles. During the Cold War, it was a complex system of structures and weapons. However, AADCP was eventually closed.

The radar is currently located in the US Marine Corps reserve unit, and the bunker has been converted into an air traffic control center. Because the exact procedures are top secret (a common occurrence in American bunkers), little is known about whether the base is operational.

In an interview with LIGA. net Volodymyr Prikhodko explained why Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) did not want to give you a contract with General Electric, why Tarpan and Hyundai were delivered to you, and also if Ukrainian checks on the airfields.

About tenders of Ukrzaliznytsia

– In 2012, KVBZ produced and sold more than 11,000 wagons – a record for independence. At the peak of the crisis, in 2015, the plant launched a total of 400 vanage cars and up to 500 million hryvnias. Result of 2017: more than 2,000 wagons and UAH 260 million. clean booty. KVBZ is inspired?

– It is not possible to compare 2017 with 2012 due to the economic effect for business. Think about it, they have changed: the number of practitioners has changed, the market and geography have improved, the work with state monopolists has not improved. Porivnyano since 2012 there is no positive rock. Try to move in a stable direction, diversify the market. Ale, within the framework of the program for the production of vanage cars, locomotive traction cars and passenger cars for locomotive traction, we cannot boast of anything serious.

– After entering the Russian market, is Ukrzaliznytsia the main successor of your products?

– Due to its financial ability and practical ambitions, the Ukrainian Railways is in the bottom of the buyers, and they do not look at all from the point of view of obligation. For 5 months in 2018, we did not deliver the same unit of UZ rake transport (vintage – 250 pvvagoniv for the contract in 2017), the annual tender for the purchase was not held. Might be zero. As it seems – help me in something and nowhere. True, there are small purchases of spare parts. That price is not to build dozens of hundreds in our structure, but hundreds.

Buying Balchun and buying Kravtsov? The order of the numbers is almost identical. But these figures are hopelessly far away from the plans, like declaring Balchun and what Kravtsov’s team is trying to achieve.

Prihodko int LigaBissnes 7

– Who are your main patrons at the same time? Were the skils of the vintage railcars delivered in 2017 to the Ukrainian Railways and the skils were issued for export?

– Less than 5% of our supplies fall on the export market, UZ in 2017 – 0%. Over 90% obsagіv vrobnitstva secure private companies. Otherwise – products that are not related to the nomenclature of outdoor transport.

– Last year, you delivered 50 new passenger cars to UZ. In grass, UZ voted tenders for the purchase of 54 (the bid was estimated at UAH 1.5 billion). Do you brother fate?

– Competition has been announced, but not yet held. Practice shows that in successful tenders, that the Ukrainian zaliznytsia is voted for by vacant brewers, as a rule, no more than 10% will reach completion in the planned terms. Others continue, revise, re-adjust, but do not remove anyone from the agreement.

How can you succeed in tenders and deliver qi wagons by the end of 2018?

– Tenders in the minds of the tender with the delivery line announced 2018 rіk, the contract for the production of such folding products, like passenger cars of locomotive traction, is problematic. Regardless of that, the Ukrainian virobnik is playing the foreign one.

– The fairness of the price will be shown only by the number of participants and lots that will be drawn from this project.

– In the financial plan of UZ for 2018, the purchase of 3450 pivvagoniv is scheduled. I will purchase 2,500 wagons of the past year, it was over. What is the probability of the fact that in the end of the year UZ cannot buy anything from private factories and will keep a ruhomy warehouse only for the rahunok of hair strains?

– A tender for the purchase of 3,000 railcars for a penny for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been announced so far. There are no others. It is planned to put the agreement under the terms of the implementation of six months as an intermediary of this tender. The tender is international and in the new you can take the fate of a company. Golovnya – viskonat declared to the wagon of technical assistance. Mova go about the deaf-bottomed car. If you don’t blame any of the so-called pseudo-company wagons and the tender, then in the serpnist camp it dawned on you to sign a contract with some kind of goods-builders.

– Who are these pseudo-viruses, are you talking about? The last fate of the auction was blocked by skargs in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine of the small company Maxmed International. Do you know who is behind the firm? The media got information that people behind it were tied to businessman Andriy Adamovsky .

– Crimean company, tenders blocked five dozen others. I read on the Internet about Adamovsky, Grabovsky (Oleksandr Grabovsky, deputy of the Supreme Council for the sake of the bloc of Petro Poroshenko. – Ed.) You can’t say that these people themselves stand behind these companies, I can’t. I don’t know and I don’t care for the necessary clarification.

Prihodko int LigaBissnes 2

– Why do companies like MaxMed International open tenders for UZ? Yaka meta?

– Options rich: in the country, take away pennies to the city, clean up a competitor and clear the way for some foreign postal worker.
Less hvilyuє іnshe: why the state structures, regardless of the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Prime Minister, do not live in any attacks against pseudo-viruses. It is legal that they allow you to do this work. The Cabinet of Ministers should have the propositions of the National Industrial Committee for the development of the improvement of the law on public procurement. Є projects of legal acts. The stench today lies in Minekonomrozvitka. That stench did not collapse anywhere with the stretch of fate. Vіz i ninі there.

– The problem with bureaucracy is corruption?

– Bureaucracy – oversimplified formula. I am working here on one of two options: either the position of an official is not sovereign, or else there is a special zatsіkavlenіst.

– Who controls the food in the Ministry of Education?

– Mr. Nefyodov is in charge of nutrition (Maxim Nefyodov – First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine – Ed.). The sheet, signed by the main associations, the Federation of Robotic Suppliers and the great number of Ukrainian enterprises, professional unions from the hands of handing over the robot to other people, lie on the table at the premier. Two months have passed – there is no reaction.

– If you’re talking about coming in and defending against pseudo-viruses, what are you talking about?

– First: supplies for the sovereign sector can be taken up by a goods manufacturer or an organization has been upgraded by him. It is impossible to take care of the supply of the company without renewal, which is formed from the secretary, the water and the director, that does not have the necessary technical capabilities to ensure the security of the engagement.

Another: it is necessary that the price was formed on the basis of the life cycle of the person, and not on the basis of the sale price. Bo postal workers often set low prices for goods, and spare parts and guarantee services are exorbitantly expensive. As a result, in marriage with a life cycle of exploitation, the purchase becomes expensive. A cunning salesman can apparently sell a product for 30% of the cost, and charge 130% for service and take his 200% profit in total.

Third win: transition to the financial planning of the purchaser. The product, prepared for laying on a rock bed, will be cheaper both for the seller and for the purchase. And right now we take a part in the tender, we put in a contract soon and so on.

Fourth: the postal worker is to blame for the completion of the delivery and production of this product for a long time.

Volodymyr Groysman support your initiatives?

– Bulo kіlka awards and protocol handouts of the Prime Minister for food for the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Infrastructure. Minister of Economy Stepan Kubiv handing over food to Pan Nefyodov. The document is already ready. It’s just that it’s necessary to pick one at a time, to correct the shortest time and to sign. We can’t see anything, it’s international practice of powers that protect their economy and think about it.

– Zaliznytsia voted for a billion-dollar tender for the supply of six diesel trains. In Ukraine, you have no competitors for this type of technology. Tse tender pіd you?

– Tse international tender – Poles, Belarusians can take part, there can be firms – “gaskets”.

About the Prozorro system and drink on Tarpan

– The last head of the UZ Evgen Kravtsov runs the company Mayzhe Rik. How do you vibuduyutsya your vodnosiny with ninishnіm kerіvnitstvom UZ? What has changed since Wojciech Balczun’s watch?

– Take a look at the numbers of buyers and you will understand everything. Skils of vintage cars by buying Balchun and skils by buying Kravtsov? The order of the numbers is almost identical. Prote tsі tsі figures are hopelessly far away from the plans that Balchun has declared and that Kravtsov’s team is trying to achieve. I’m on the verge of a program for updating the warehouse until 2020. Won є, її it is required to win and for it it is required to call.

Prihodko int LigaBissnes 3

After the results of 2017, I didn’t have a word about the victory. Її vykonali? I think no. That I am not bachiv and koriguvannya programs for 2018 rіk. We do not understand, we know the program. And tse nutrition to a friend for the step of importance after the organization of transportation. The situation with novlennyam ruhomogo warehouse is critical – to be at the peak of their problems. I can say for sure: it was far from being seen in the future of 2016.

– Have purchases become insightful?

– The National Committee for Industrial Development passed on to Mr. Nefyodov its proposals for the thorough development of the Prozorro system. We were willed: “Belsh over the systems at the SVITI. Friend: Bagato of the Zakhid powers, to the dosvіd Ukrainian, to finish the seriously ocular of the Roboti Prozorro. The comet has a position: “Prozorro is not Prozorro” – the system is not right, yak is guilty. I want it to vomnortasyu, for the time, the viscous system of the vicony of vicony is permitted, densitated by the inexhaustible components of the vico of the binding of a different woman. the Prozorro system is not perfect, more, according to Nefyodov’s thought, there is nothing else, like the pinnacle of perfection.0003

Prihodko int LigaBissnes 5

– Do you think Prozorro is a bad system for public buyers in Ukraine? Earlier it was better and clearer?

– Ni. It was time for Prozorro to be a significant advance ahead of time. Possibly, such a system is small to appear five years earlier. That without improvement is an old system. On the skin otruta know anti otrutu. To the skin lock pick up a vіdmichka. All this information – її it is necessary to correct it in order to turn off weak links in the system. You cannot praise a child only to the one who is yours. Її it is required to read, to change and, as it is necessary, to change. And it seemed to us that they smashed the child’s harn, and then problems arose with light, vihovannyam and perfection. They left me to think that she herself would be a garna.

We have Tarpan, which develops speed of 220 km/year and 160 km/year. Three ministries of infrastructure have already declared about the need to try it out at a speed of 220 km / year, but that did not happen. Train є, vіn can develop such swidkіst. I paid with a scar on my heart for hooliganism, if we once drove yoga up to 190 km / year, overtaking the Hundai, which was not far off eating on a landed stake.

Were you on the train at that moment?

– Hi, well. That I knew about tsyu podіyu earlier nizh vіdbulasya.
Whoever bought Tarpaniv, there are problems here. Swedish company UZ needs 5-6 Tarpaniv. That area has already been covered by trains, which are being rebuilt in operation. At the same time, if it was necessary to repair on trivalі, it became a food: de repair? Even with such trains it is impossible to train on the streets – only in the accommodation. If the Uzimka train comes in, the vin is a single succulent burulka. It takes three years to beat the heat guns in order to melt the ice.

Supply of new critical areas with up-to-date stretch of rock. At the same time, yes, at Kharkov and Kiev. There is no yoga in Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, etc. – the end points of the Swedish trains on the rich routes. That’s why they can’t buy new trains.

– How many do you need such a critical complex?

– $80 million to $120 million.

Why don’t you sell Tarpani over the cordon?

– We negotiate with the lands of the Caucasus region, Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan). That is still the topic of the vote.

Which one will drink from them?

– All piece goods. Call them to buy two, chotiri, six pieces. I am convinced that Ukraine allowed a pardon by buying a bucket of 10 Hyundai. Required Bulo buy first for a test two trains. Others – at their own. Aje potim zі svoїh i can sleep, as if not so.
For example, today Hyundai has a problem with repairs – and with the staff, and with the staff. I am confident that Hyundai will soon be calling for arranging service and important repairs on these trains. The stench evaluates us as partners, building viscounts and robots.

Does the Kryukiv plant have any problems with the repair of Tarpaniv?

– The service record shows that the rent for one wagon per month of service may be approximately 40% less than Hyundai’s. Tarpan go there, where Hyundai is not allowed – at the city, de naigirshі mind the exploitation from the point of view of the quality of electricity and the life of the upper highway pipeline. I’m not saying that UZ bought our trains cheaper.

What is the problem with repairs? Yes, it’s understandable, like serving trains. UZ to pay Koreans and Czechs (Skoda) for maintenance and repair of their trains x dollars per thousand kilometers. Vykoristovuyut stinks їх chi ні, it doesn’t matter. That stink shomіsyatsya otrimuyut payment. I won’t say the sum, but for a penny, they don’t stink in front of Ukraine.
It means that they can buy spare parts for a penny with delivery to Ukraine, improve the control, take care of the modernization of knots that go out of tune. This is a normal model, for which the whole world works.

The hour of Tarpan’s scheduled maintenance is coming. For four months, Kryukiv starts shouting: “Boys, you have three months before the repair. I didn’t buy the necessary spare parts. If I want to know the answer: stink to lay the agreement with me, so that no one can repair it – do not pick up people. In the UZ, they start rozpovidat, if the agreement is laid, I їm – what is required to purchase the details at once. In this nervous situation people agree to an agreement. After that, I go to the market, buy spare parts, complete sets and do repairs.

What do we need? Tighten the terms of repair, we start to fuss and hurry up. And hurry is the enemy of evil. For five years we cannot be transferred to the system of payments for the run, like the stink of Hyundai and Skoda in Ukraine.

General Electric

You are called the main partner, which will become a Maidan for the storage of new diesel locomotives. At what stage are you talking?

– We are connected by a document about non-disclosure of commercial information. I can say that the first diesel locomotive is being assembled at the factory in Ery in the state of Pennsylvania (USA). We are currently responsible for signing a contract with GE for a job related to the delivery of 30 locomotives. That’s all.

– Why hasn’t the contract been signed yet?

– Unfortunately, Ukraine does not belong to the number of powers, to which one can be counted with great confidence. We have already high risks: starting with problems, connected with strikes, and ending with payments.
We are actively getting ready to work, but only about 30 locomotives. There is still no agreement on the supply of 185 diesel locomotives. I can say that I will do everything to become a partner of GE for the whole complex of works, as if the stench will be victorious in Ukraine. Qi plan to think under yourself is more real than a fool.

– Can you tell me about specific robots on strains of KVBZ?

– If there are 30 cars, there is a transfer of 10% of localization. Read about bringing systems up to Ukrainian standards in terms of specifics and operation on Ukrainian roads. This type of localization includes the installation of a security system, collection of information, alarms about problems and fire extinguishing, etc. Plus product certification and testing. Accordingly, we see a diesel locomotive, which complies with all Ukrainian standards, the American side, and the stench is transmitted by UZ.

After that, the supply of financing for the party from the 31st to the 215th diesel locomotive and may be agreed on the supply, depending on the schedule for the completion of the localization by rock.

At the end of the bag, it is possible to go to the maximum localization, which allows us to carry out all the work in Ukraine, for the sake of adding an American complete set of the power unit and supporting it. Everything else – Ukrainian production. І electrical, і mechanical, і hydraulic parts. Everything related to security, control, registration, signalization, and other systems will also lie on us. Dozens of Ukrainian goods and manufacturers will enter our orbit, and they will supply anonymous components and details: starting with an air conditioner and finishing with a fire extinguishing system.

– When do you score the first star?

– I will arrive at Odessa by sickle wines. Zvіdti UZ yoga to deliver to Kremenchuk, and we start the robot.

– Is this good for you?

– For us, pleasing has its own perspective. Yakby, having asked me to encourage 215 locomotives with 10% localization, I would not fool myself. Such localization (10% for the first batch of 30 diesel locomotives. – Ed.) Suitable for getting to know each other better. And after the 30th locomotive, we are beginning to be serious, I will do my job.

– For the rest of the hour, there were delegations from many great corporations at your factory. Who came before you and about what you are doing?

– Just last week we had Alstom, Bombardier, Greenbrier representatives. Spekotny tyzhden. There were more prospects for a joint business in electric locomotives. Greenbrier has been working on the topic of organizing the production of vintage railcars for its company in Ukraine for three years already and creating a company for operational leasing. They spoke again on this topic. Ale, for the time being, we say, no more.
For us, the pleasing of GE has its own perspective.

– What did you say?

– The decision about the selection was required to be accepted, but there is still nothing. Greenbrier though great, but in the same world it is not enough turning. The parties came to the thought that the process needs to be speeded up. So we made a visnovka, if we don’t start working on it at once, then we’ll be sorry. I think, by the protyag of the nearest pіvіchchya it’s understandable that the solution of this fate will appear, or it won’t be. Adzhe market not to sleep, and for the sake of nourishing the leasing of a rumpled warehouse, there are already a lot of thoughts, which will then be important to fill with lungs.

Why does the Greenbrier strategy work? What is the role of the KVBZ in it?

– Last fate they bought 75% of the Romanian Astra Rail, to conduct the daily operations of their Polish branch near Svidnitsa. As a result, stinks become the largest gravel in Europe in the production of vintage cars. Altogether, they can deliver about 6,500 wagons at a time. The largest company that is looking after them, Tatravagónka, can put NOT more than 4000 wagons on the river. In addition, the stink to conduct negotiations about virobnitstvo in Turkey.

Tobto stench to stand on the path of a sleepy business from the production of a vintage, rickety warehouse. The stench wants to be number one in the European part of the planet, and they have everything for it. But why the stench is so sloppily driven is a mystery to me.
For them, we can become a worker in a stable warehouse, we can be a partner in programs, we can be a shareholder in successful businesses in Ukraine. The stench ranks us with this sensi as the number one company in Ukraine.

Are you trying to get into the share capital of KVBZ?

– I can’t comment yet. As if it will be like this, you know about the middle of the first. Ale this year, so food is not worth it. Being shareholders – there is no sense either for us or for them. Sens vinikaє todі, if mova go about svіlny business and projects. What kind of flower is not created and sold at the same time, should you become shareholders?

UZ is going to buy new electric locomotives. Alstom and Bombardier are waiting for you for a possible sleeping choice. Are you talking about the model of spivpratsi?

– We are talking about the most potential candidates who come to Ukraine. Usі vivchayut tsey market. The difference between them is only in the fact that some are ready to work with them in Ukraine, blame them, whom they choose themselves, and others are ready to work with them, for whom the deputy is Ukrzaliznytsia. Depending on which, there will be a price, a number of localizations, and possible planned terms of localization.

Who is the favorite in the race for the supply of UZ electric locomotives?

– UZ is collaborating with companies that have good working experience in a wide range of warehouse operation practices. Tse Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens, Chinese CRRC. Mustaches are chatting with us. Based on my knowledge of the capabilities of the Ukrainian forerunner, I can boldly say that behind all showcases, we are number one among our goods growers. In UZ, they understand what localization is needed, but they don’t want to stink, so Prikhodko will take care of it.

– Why?

– To the one who transfers pennies within the framework of one department, as if you will try to pick up electric locomotives, it’s easier. It’s important for me to speak to me. I don’t want to stink, so that I’ll be a pose of the Ukrainian zaliznitsa (not obov’yazkovo KVBZ) being a participant in this program. The stink and so can’t come to you after the decision of GE to choose us, as it didn’t deprive them of any options for compromises.

In its own time, GE is doing more than anyone by visiting Ukraine, choosing a partner. They saw this business – potential partners. Been in such places, de navit I don’t buv, – Poltava diesel locomotive repair, Grebinkivsky, Zaporizky electric locomotive repair and in.

– What are the next steps for electric locomotive projects?

– Possibilities of the parties are evaluated. The companies announced all potential partners in Ukraine. Їх not so rich: Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro and KVBZ. Dali UZ is obliged to choose a partner from foreign companies. Then we will voice out whom she sees in the name: Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro, Lviv or us. If you are guilty of a residual responsibility for the program – skilki to buy and like a car. There are no other solutions.

My Duma: I look back at the Elektrovev Park, already at the same Roku mayo -boti ovrani msseviy, the Lawless Partner, locomotive I Kilki Lokomotivni on the Rocky supply, and such a tribe of the negotiations behind the plot of the Inotemic partnerships in the decoration.

GE diesel locomotives were financed by the American side. How will it be with electric locomotives?

– Nutrition number two, after the product is designated – the presence of gamantsia. Take that partner who can secure the pennies.

– Reveal the moisture structure of the KVBZ. How often do you have in the company?

– Usa’s shareholders – about 1300 osibs, but the great ones – two blocks. The main Vlasnik is Prikhodko’s family. Є partners. One of them is an Austrian one, having bought a stake of Sergiya Tygіpka (25% of KVBZ belongs to the Austrian company OW Capital Management GmbH, which is controlled by the Russian entrepreneur Stanislav Gamzalov. – Ed.). Under my control – over 70% of the shares. Another 3-4% – in the power of various shareholders-minority shareholders. What do you care? This is the information.

– Ckavo to our readers .

– That’s not the way it is. You know badly the psychology of people. Read the speech of Lee Kuan Yew (First Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, one of the creators of the Singaporean “economic diva”. – Ed.). Vіn having clearly said: those who tsіkavo vchora, this day will be neіkavo.

Describe a strategic business development plan for 5-10 years?

– I am running KVBZ an international company, a part of the international system of goods manufacturers and transport machinery. Tse yak minimum. All one thing we need to enter the international market more widely, we need to go in the market together with serious partners. Not from usima, but from a specific point of view.

I don’t care about the future of a business that is closed within the framework of Ukraine, otherwise a competitive struggle will take strength, an hour, a penny, but not give an effect. Tse that vipadok, if it seems that one in the field is not a warrior. Marvel at Siemens and Alstom united. This is an example of the fact that on the most equal level there are joint processes. I Ukraine is nowhere to be born. Tsomu has logic and sens.

Chesapeake and Ohio Ohio, in June 1948 Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad (C&O) as a member of class J3a. As one of the last mass-produced steam locomotives in the United States, the locomotive was built with the primary purpose of hauling long, heavy, high-speed express trains. passenger trains for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad such as George Washington and Fast Flying Virginian . Decommissioned from active service in the late 1950s, 614 has been preserved and is on display at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. Between 1979 and 1980, work was underway to restore the locomotive to working order, and it was used for an extensive line. excursion service from the early 1980s to the late 1990s. Today, the locomotive is on temporary display at the C&O Railroad Heritage Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia, awaiting a potential return to steam.

Most of the railways called their 4-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8- 4c “Northerners”, which is short for “railway pioneering the 4-8-4 type”, Northern Pacific Railroad. C&O Workers Calling these locomotives “northerners” was impossible, since the railroad was based in the southeast. The famous Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia, a major resort on the main C&O line, was the inspiration for the name “Greenbrier” in reference to these 4-8-4s.

C&O 614 on display at Clifton Forge, Virginia.

Command staff had a total of 12 4-8-4s, the first five of which were numbered 600-604, built in 1935 and designated J-3. In 1942, two more were ordered from Lima, numbered 605-606. In 1948 the design changed slightly and 610-614s were produced with the designation J-3-A. No. 614 was originally retired in 1952, but three years later, like No. 610, it was returned to commercial service to pull heavy freight trains for future freight service on most American railroads. However, when returning to service, 614 was changed to 611 as the C&O ran out of power to avoid confusion with some leased 4-8-4s. Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad, one of which was also numbered 614. The original C&O 611 never ran.

After only one year of profitable freight service, #614 was scrapped again and stored with a group of other C&O steam locomotives as a “scrap line” in front of the C&O diesel shops in Russell, Kentucky, where it remained for almost two decades.

Tour Service

In 1976 #614, along with 2-8-4 Kanawha #2705 and 2-6-6-2 #1309, were sent to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland and were cosmetically restored for static display.

During 1979, Ross E. Rowland, Jr. traded Reading T1 #2101, which had previously been damaged in a roundabout fire, donated to the museum in exchange for 614. It was restored over the next 18 months at a cost of £1.50 million dollars. During restoration, 614 was granted an auxiliary tender, doubling its water capacity to 50,000 gallons. This allowed the 614 to operate longer without the need for refueling. The Chessie Safety Express was the first major run of the 614 to bring it to the attention. After a successful system tour, 614 people stayed in Hagerstown, Maryland until 1985 years old. American Coal Enterprise was developing a modern steam locomotive to be used as an alternative to rising oil prices by burning coal, known as the ACE 3000 project. The 614 was modified for improved performance under the direction of David Wardale and fitted with test equipment to measure engine performance. For several weeks in January and February 1985, 614 (now 614-T, which symbolizes the test) carried coal trains between Huntington and Hinton, West Virginia. The fuel consumption costs of the 614 were actually lower than most diesel locomotives of the time.

C&O 614 with engine cab.

In 1992, Rowland’s vision of 21st Century Limited was taking shape. To give the public a glimpse of the train, one side of the 614 was styled in a futuristic style with blue wraparound surrounds and a centered headlight. 614 also returned to its former home at the B&O Railway Museum for a temporary display. In 1995, 614 people were transferred to the New Hope and Iveeland Railroad in New Hope, Pennsylvania for major repairs. It was then used for a series of popular excursions between Hoboken, New Jersey and Port Jervis, New York in conjunction with New Jersey Transit (NJT) from 1996 to 1998.

Current Status

614 required to pull 26 cars at 79 mph on some stretches and maintain speed on a few hills. During this time, the 614 was equipped with cab signaling devices, 26L brakes, a speed controller and an MU stand. 614 was moved to storage with the Reading and Northern Railroad at Port Clinton, Pennsylvania. In 2000, Rowland put 614 examples up for auction at an NJT repair shop, but buyers showed no interest. The locomotive is still serviced by Iron Horse Enterprises, the locomotive was last serviced in 2006.

In 2010, discussions began between Rowland and Jim Justice, owner of the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia. The resort owner was interested in running steam-powered sightseeing trains from the Greenbrier to Washington. To be called the “Greenbrier Express”, Justice planned to use steam and diesel power in the project, but it required collaboration from CSX Transport, the Buckingham Line and Amtrak. In January 2011, 614 people were transferred to the Virginia Transportation Museum in Roanoke, Virginia for their Thoroughbred Steam exhibit. In May 2011, 614 were transferred again to the C&O Railroad Heritage Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia. From there it traveled to Clifton Forge, Virginia, where it was repainted in preparation for display at the show. Greenbrier Presidential Express. Unfortunately, the Greenbrier Express project was canceled in May 2012 due to lack of funding and capacity issues on the CSX section of the route, where the lack of sidings makes it difficult for eastbound trains to run against the flow of empty westbound coal trains. . Diesels and passenger cars have been auctioned off and the 614 continues to be on display at Clifton Forge. As of 201 High Point Mansion ( HPSF ), its preferred designation since 1991 is “SF”. [1]

The facility is the primary relocation site for the highest level of civilian and military personnel in the event of a national disaster, playing an important role in government continuity (according to the US Continuity of Operations Plan). [2]

Mount Weather is home to the FEMA National Radio System Control Station (FNARS), a high-frequency radio system that connects most federal public safety agencies and the US military to most states. [3] FNARS allows the President to access the Emergency Alert System. [4]

The site was introduced to the public by Washington Post when a government facility was mentioned on December 1, 1974, reporting the crash of TWA Flight 514 and a Boeing 727 airliner in Mount Weather [5]

Even animals that are widely distributed in the state today, such as white-tailed deer and wild turkey, have been almost wiped out by uncontrolled habitat loss and hunting. Growing concerns about West Virginia’s wildlife prompted the state government to establish a game farm in French Creek in 1923 where West Virginia’s wildlife could be bred and reintroduced back into the wild.
