Talantix makes it possible to create checklists for assessing both hard skills and soft skills of candidates. This tool allows you to objectively and quickly compare candidates for a vacancy.

You can use checklists already created by colleagues to assess certain competencies and skills of applicants, or create your own assessment forms with a unique set of criteria for a specific vacancy.

You can add any number of checklists with grades to the candidate card. This information will be available to all recruiters who are working on the vacancy.

Talantix automatically summarizes all completed checklists for candidates and displays the average score of all job applicants in personal cards.

Important

Users with the Recruiter and Administrator roles can create and edit assessment forms.

How to create a new evaluation form

1. In the upper right corner, go to the “Company settings” section.

2. From the top menu, select Evaluation Forms.

Here you can add, delete and modify checklists for evaluating candidates. The first option is “Edit”, the second is “Delete”.

3. To add a new checklist, click on the phrase “Add a new assessment form” at the top.

4. In the constructor that opens, fill in the two columns “Name” and “Evaluation criteria”. These are required fields, without filling them out the system will not allow you to proceed to the next step.

In the constructor, you can add the required number of criteria for evaluation (but not more than 200 criteria for one evaluation form).

5. To add a new criterion, click on the phrase at the bottom of the “Add criterion” template.

6. Added criteria can be deleted by clicking on the trash can icon to the right of the criterion name.

To save the newly created checklist, click on the “Save” button on the right.

The new checklist will appear in the general list of the Evaluation Forms section.

To view the criteria for any of the assessment forms you have created, click the Edit icon.

You will see the composition of the checklist for evaluating candidates.

You can also see how the created form will look like using the “View” button.

In the view mode, you will be able to get acquainted with the 5-point scale by which the criteria will be evaluated.

When you hover over the icons, you will see the designations:

  • does not appear;
  • needs development;
  • sufficient level;
  • above average;
  • is perfect.

How to add a checklist to a candidate card

1. Open the candidate card. In the “Comments and History” tab, click on the phrase “Add a rating form.”

Select the name of the desired checklist from the drop-down list.

Important

If a candidate is attached to several vacancies at once, then in his card there will be no option to attach an assessment form.

If necessary, you can also edit or create new forms from the candidate card by clicking on the phrase “Customize evaluation forms”.

The “Company Settings” tab will open, where you can make the necessary changes.

The company settings open in a new tab, which is convenient to return to the candidate card after editing the forms and continue working.

2. After selecting the form, a list of criteria included in the selected checklist will appear. Rate the candidate on a five-point scale:

  • does not appear;
  • needs development;
  • sufficient level;
  • above average;
  • is perfect.

Then click on the “Publish” button at the bottom right.

A checklist with your rating will be added to the general feed as a comment.

3. You can also additionally leave a comment on the completed checklist, including giving explanations on your assessments of the candidate.

Write the text of an explanatory comment in the rectangular box. After that, click on the “Publish” button.

In the general feed, along with your assessment of the candidate, a comment will also be published. After its publication, colleagues who have access to the vacancy will be able to see the comment left and your rating.

The commenter can edit the published form: add or delete a comment, as well as change their assessments of the candidate.

To do this, click on the three dots next to your comment and select “Edit” or “Delete”.

In the comment editing mode, make the necessary changes and click on the “Save” button.
