Goldman Sachs Group has increased base salaries for entry-level employees by nearly 30%. Analyst starting salaries will rise to $110,000, second-year analysts to $125,000, and partners to $150,000. These categories of employees do most of the hard work that allows banks to capitalize on trades and take advantage of busy trading periods in the stock market

Junior Goldman Sachs Group employees will receive a large increase in their base salary. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing a source familiar with the upcoming increase in earnings. The investment bank will announce it later this week, a newspaper source said.

Year 1 analysts will have a starting salary increase from $85,000 to $110,000. Second year analysts will be able to earn $125,000 instead of the current $95,000. Analyst partner salaries will increase from $125,000 to $150,000. salaries, as well as their annual bonuses this week, the source said. The changes will affect more than 1,000 employees worldwide.
