Del Mar Union School District

On June 30, 2021, the Governing Board of Trustees approved new school boundaries that include Pacific Sky School, which is anticipated to open to students in August 2022.  Click here to view the revised boundary map. These new boundaries make changes to some addresses that are currently zoned to attend Ashley Falls School, Carmel Del Mar School, or Sycamore Ridge School. Click here for a list of all streets with boundary changes.  

The Del Mar Union School District School Locator is published for your convenience.  It is a quick reference guide to the streets included in the District’s attendance area. Enter your complete address, city and zip code and “Enter.”  If your address is within the district boundaries, the locator will show you your school of residence. Only the elementary school within your attendance area will be listed.  If two schools are listed that means the address is in an Option Area.  

Please note: Every effort is made to place students at the school in their attendance area; however, due to the growth within DMUSD in the last several years and the District’s commitment to maintain balanced, low class sizes at all school sites, we must inform you that students are placed at a school on a space available basis. If you have specific questions regarding streets in the area or have a question about whether or not a prospective house may be in DMUSD please contact the District Office at (858) 755-9301.

Flexible Option Areas

An Option Area is a designated area within the attendance boundaries of a specific school site. Families that reside in an Option Area will have the “option” to choose an alternate designated school rather than the school they are zoned for.  Admittance to the schools is based on available space. Once approved, a student enrolled in an option area school will have resident status and may remain enrolled at the school through 6th grade (or as long as the student lives in the DMUSD boundary). The District will make every attempt to place children in one of the two option area schools; however, if both schools are at capacity, a family may request their child be placed at any DMUSD school that has space available. The DMUSD School Locator above will help you determine the area within which you live. Please note that the School Locator does not specify which school is the school of residence and which is the option area school. Download Option Area Request Form.  Option area forms are also available at school or the District office.  District staff will contact you via email in mid-August after your application has been reviewed.

Information student and their payment:

If your child has lost the card, he should contact the class teacher to have the card reissued!

After reissue, the card starts working correctly after 24 hours.

You have 10 calendar days to pay for a duplicate card, then the card is automatically blocked without receiving payment.

To pay for a duplicate card, you can use several methods:

1. on the My School website (through the full version of the site). In the field “Duplicate payment” , you must specify the number of the new school card (without spaces) issued at the school, then “Check”, enter the email address (enter manually, without copying) and pay with any bank card without commission.
2. through the Sberbank online mobile application and payment terminals. In the “Payments” section in the search line, indicate “Rosokhrana Telecom” or TIN 7813474659, select “Reissue of the card (My school)”, enter the number of the new school card in the line “Identifier”, confirm the payment.
3. via the Internet Bank “Bank Saint Petersburg”, mobile application, payment terminals of PJSC “Bank Saint Petersburg” (by card of any bank without commission). Go to the “School meals” catalog: then find – “Rosokhrana Telecom (school card)” and select the required service: – Payment for reissuing a card – Payment for issuing an identifier fill in the fields of the proposed form:

• school card number
• Name of cardholder (child)
• phone number (example: 9XXXXXXXXX)
• payment amount (then click “Pay”).
