Meet Tara Martinez! She is the Center Director at Perris KinderCare in California. Tara attended Walden University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies with a minor in Adult Leadership. She has been with KinderCare since 2021. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her family. They like going to parks, petting zoos, and Disneyland together. “If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walt Disney

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

I am a mother of two little girls. Janelly is four-years-old, and Jayleen-Esparza is going to be two-years-old. I work and go to school full-time. Every morning, I take my girls to Perris KinderCare.

Jayleen’s teacher is always there to greet us with a smile in the mornings. The teachers keep track of my daughters’ progress. Since I am always in a rush in the mornings, I just do their hair in a ponytail. Their teachers always, and I mean always, redo their hair. So my daughters look adorable when I pick them up.

In a nutshell, they go the extra mile to make my girls happy and feel welcome there. They teach them their ABC’s, numbers, and educational sing-along songs. The teachers are wonderful and have the patience to make every child feel loved. I would like to thank everyone in that center on how great of a job they do everyday while making my girls feel happy and loved.

Are meals included in tuition? Can I choose to send my child with lunch?

We provide nutritious meals and snacks developed by a registered dietician to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. If your child has special dietary requirements and you would prefer to bring in their lunch, please make arrangements with the center director.

Does my child need to be potty-trained?

Every child begins toilet learning at a different age. Until your child shows an interest in toilet learning, we’ll provide diaper changes on an as-needed basis. When your child shows an interest, we’ll discuss how to work together to encourage toilet learning.

Early years

Brand was born in The Dalles, Oregon to a mother of Italian descent. Brand’s mother was from Fresno, while his maternal grandfather immigrated to the US from Naples area. ^[1] Brands moved to Fresno when Lee started kindergarten. ^[1]

Growing up in a poor family where he shared a bed with his older brother, Brand began committing petty theft as early as elementary school. While in high school, Brand and several friends were arrested for breaking and entering their school and served their sentences in a juvenile prison. “The trip home with my father was quiet, but one day at the door of the house, Brand’s father hit him in the face,” reported Fresno Bee . ^[1] In 1964, when Brand was 15, his father died in a plane crash. ^[1]

At Theodore Roosevelt High School in Fresno, Brand competed on the cross country and track teams and ran a 1:59 halfway race in his junior year. After graduating in 1967, Brand briefly attended Fresno City College before enlisting in the California Air National Guard. After less than half a year as a technician, Brand returned to Fresno and led a lifestyle he described as “sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll” before at 1971 years to experience “a calling from God.” teaching loads at Fresno City College and later California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) and graduated in 1973 from Fresno State University with honors. ^[1] Brand paid for his education by working at the local Sears and patrolling on weekends for the California National Guard. ^[1] He later received an honorable discharge from the guard. ^[4]

Business career

The brand completed its M. P.A. at the University of Southern California at 1974 – through a project instead of a thesis. ^[1] From 1974 to 1978, Brand was an assistant administrator of a psychiatric hospital. District of Madera. On the Brand side, upside down houses and eventually opened a Brand-Glenn & Associates real estate business and a car radio store called The Sound Machine. ^[1] Brand’s real estate business became Brand & Associates in 1981, and in 1987 Brand co-founded Westco Equities. ^[1]

Political career

In 1996, Brand led the successful campaign of Fresno City Council candidate Ken Steitz. ^[1]

After an unsuccessful campaign for City Council in 2000, Brand began serving on the Fresno Planning Commission as mayor designate. Alan Autry. ^[1]

Brand won the 2008 city council election, filling the Northeast Fresno seat previously held by Jerry Duncan. ^[1]

9000 9000 The climate of Mecca is an arid desert with an average temperature of 90 degrees. Low temperatures can reach up to 20 degrees. The community is 150 feet below sea level on the shores of the Salton Sea, the former shell of the Salton.

Developers intend to irrigate the desert with water from the Colorado River did not foresee excessive snowmelt and within two years, from 1905 to 1906, accidentally diverted the entire river to the Salton Sink, flooding the salt mines, which may have been a source of salt for centuries, and creating Salton Sea. Groundwater and water transported by the Coachella Canal have turned the desert environment into large tracts of farmland.

Demographics

In the 2010 US Census, ^[5] reported that Mecca had a population of 8,577. The population density was 1,232.5 people per square mile (475.9 / km ²). The racial makeup of Mecca was 2686 (31.3%) White, 40 (0.5%) African American, 47 (0.5%) Native American, 17 (0.2%) Asian, 7 (0.1%) Islander Pacific and 237 (2.8%) from two or more races. Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 8,462 (98.7%).

There were 1,854 households out of which 1,374 (74.1%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 1,185 (63.9%) had opposite-sex married couples living together, 339 (18.3%) had a female householder with no husband present , 175 (9.4%) had a male householder with no wife. There were 142 people (7.7%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 10 (0.5%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. On average, there were 4.63 people per household.

The population was dispersed: 3372 people (39.3%) under the age of 18, 1,141 people (13.3%) aged 18 to 24, 2,353 people (27.4%) aged 25 to 44, 1,368 people (15.9%) between the ages of 45 and 24. 64 and 343 people (4. 0%) aged 65 and over. The mean age was 23.7 years. For every 100 women, there were 111.2 men. For every 100 women aged 18 and over, there were 110.8 men.

There were 2,020 housing units at an average density of 290.3 per square mile (112.1 / km ² ), of which 815 (44.0%) were owner-occupied and 1039(56.0%) were occupied by tenants. 3,978 people (46.4% of the population) lived in owner-occupied housing units and 4,599 people (53.6%) lived in rental housing units.

49% of all the inhabitants of Makkah are employed in agricultural work. The population of the community fluctuates several times during the year, and an additional 5,000 seasonal agricultural workers come to Mecca to harvest in the winter and summer in the valley. ^[6]

Makkah has a primary school, but no public secondary school. 1.4% of residents have a college education, 17.7% continue their education after high school, making Makkah the 17th city with the lowest level of education in the United States.

The community coordinator is the Mecca Family and Farm Workers Service Center. In 1999 California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. filed 30 discrimination complaints against Riverside County. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development investigated the complaints and found that Riverside County’s housing policy and code enforcement measures exhibited a pattern of discrimination against Hispanic tenants and homeowners. The county agreed to build the Farm Workers Service Center as part of a multi-million dollar settlement to avoid further litigation. The Farm Workers Service Center was opened in 2005 and includes a health clinic, daycare, Department of Economic Development offices, and provides information and referrals to government services that most local farm workers can access.

Following the construction of the Farm Workers Service Center, the county provided funds for other investments, including the Makkah-North Shore Public Library and the Mecca Fire Department, which opened in 2011.

Also in 2011, the Coachella Valley Boys and Girls Club opened its largest division in California. Located next door to the Makkah Community Services Center, the club currently serves c. 350 children from Mecca and surroundings.

in the California State Legislature, Mecca is in the 28th Senate District, represented by Republican Melissa Melendez, and in the 56th District Assembly, represented by Democrat Eduardo Garcia. ^[7]

passed the Regional practical seminar “Pedagogical experience in the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard for Education” from the experience of the creative groups “School of a young educator” and “School of a tutor”.
Educators, members of creative groups of the Primorsky district took part in the seminar.

Presentations were made by teachers from 24, 62, 85, 81, 70, 64, kindergarten and ODOD GBOU School No. 580.

46 teachers joined the seminar remotely.

Participants of creative groups presented their experience in the use of fairy tales, non-traditional drawing techniques with young children, the use of clothespins in organizing games for the development of fine motor skills, project activities in the formation of preschool children’s knowledge of traffic rules. For teachers, the experience of 64 kindergartens was presented on the interaction of participants in the educational process through the organization of corporate content, the kindergarten presented a report on the successful socialization and adaptation of young children and the interaction of the Early Assistance Service with a social partner – the children’s library “Knigapark”.

On April 19, 2022 at 13.00 , the Interdistrict (City) Seminar “IMPROVING EARLY DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION” was held remotely.

What is the kindergarten ready to offer to parents and children from 2 months to 3 years?

The development of young children is one of the most relevant areas of preschool education today. This direction has received particular relevance in connection with the national project “Education”, which implies – the creation of conditions for the early development of children under the age of three, the implementation of programs of psychological, pedagogical, methodological and advisory assistance to parents of children receiving preschool education in the family and the implementation of opportunities for early development of children in St. Petersburg. The subprogram “Development of preschool education” is designed to ensure the availability and quality of preschool education, including early childhood (children under 3 years old).

Teachers presented reports in three sections:

SECTION 1. “KINDERGARTEN AS A TERRITORY OF INTERACTION OF PARENTS AND EARLY CHILDREN”

SECTION 3. “MODERN DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT FOR EARLY CHILDREN”

The selected remote format provided the opportunity to broadcast innovative pedagogical experience to different districts of St. Petersburg: Primorsky, Vyborgsky, Admiralteisky, Krasnogvardeisky, Kirovsky, Moskovsky, Central, Nevsky, Kalininsky, Krasnoselsky, Kronstadsky, Petrogradsky, Petrodvortsovy, Pushkinsky districts (in accordance with registration sheet). In total, more than 100 teachers have been registered.

At the 1st section of the seminar, topical issues of using remote interaction with parents “Kindergarten – 7th”, the experience of interaction with parents and young children during the adaptation period, Online Academy “Magic Su-Jok” were covered.

In section 2, teachers talked about modern technologies and the use of nursery rhymes in the development of speech of young children, about the role of fairy tales in enriching cognitive experience, about introducing children to small literary and folklore genres in various types of children’s activities, the project “We dance and sing”, the development of fine motor skills of hands through didactic games, the development of constructive skills, artistic creativity and the use of methods and techniques of psychopractice with young children during the period of adaptation.

Section 3 was devoted to the experience of educational institutions in the use of non-traditional equipment during invigorating gymnastics, the development of sensory abilities of caverolinografia, the use of cryotherapy, the enrichment of the developing environment to enhance interest in motor activity, the organization of the playing space and equipping the environment of early age groups as a factor for the successful development of the child early age.

In the framework of international cooperation, the experience of kindergartens Churapchinsky ulus, Churapcha village, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Shklov, Republic of Belarus, was presented.

The development of young children is one of the most relevant areas of preschool education today. This direction has received particular relevance in connection with the national project “Education”, which implies – the creation of conditions for the early development of children under the age of three, the implementation of programs of psychological, pedagogical, methodological and advisory assistance to parents of children receiving preschool education in the family and the implementation of opportunities for early development of children in St. Petersburg. March 10, 2022 Interdistrict (City) Seminar “Education Focus: Preschool Childhood”

On March 10, 2022 at 13.00 , the Interdistrict (City) Seminar “Focus of Education: Preschool Childhood” was held remotely.

The seminar is included in the work plan of the State Budgetary Institution DPPO TsPKS “INFORMATION AND METHODOLOGICAL CENTER” PRIMORSKY DISTRICT OF SAINT PETERSBURG for March 2022.

Teachers presented reports in two sections:

Section 1: “Game technologies for the intellectual and creative development of children of early and preschool age”

Section 2: “Support for a gifted child in the conditions of preschool, family and school”

The selected remote format provided the opportunity to broadcast innovative pedagogical experience to different districts of the city of St. Petersburg: Primorsky, Vyborgsky, Admiralteysky, Krasnogvardeisky, Kirovsky, Moskovsky, Central, Nevsky, Kalininsky, Moskovsky (in accordance with the registration sheet). In total, more than 100 teachers have been registered.

At the 1st section of the seminar, topical issues of using gaming technologies for the intellectual and creative development of children of early and preschool age were covered. The teachers spoke about the “Fairytale Labyrinths of the Game” by V.V. Voskobovich, Lego and Kuboro design, creating cartoons, about the formation of financial knowledge in preschool children, experimentation and theatricalization.

In the 2nd section, teachers spoke about the support and pedagogical support of talented children, the development of creative abilities.

Within the framework of international cooperation, the experience of a kindergarten in the Altai Territory of the city of Biysk and the Republic of Dagestan was presented.

In their feedback, the seminar participants noted that the reports of the participants were relevant and interesting, many teachers will take note and try to apply them in their kindergarten. The ideas presented by the speakers of the seminar “allowed to get acquainted with the best practices of colleagues.”

On February 22, 2022, kindergarten No. 62 of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg will host an inter-district (City) seminar “Socialization of children of early and preschool age in the context of variable social partnership in a preschool educational organization” in a remote format.

The seminar was held remotely.

The selected remote format provided the opportunity to broadcast innovative pedagogical experience to the districts of the city of St. Petersburg.

The seminar covered topical issues of the formation and development of a child, including those with special educational needs, various forms and methods of educational, educational, leisure activities of kindergartens in social partnership with families and various organizations; the need to assist the family in the adaptation and socialization of the child is considered, which contributes to the development of his individuality, creativity, skills of creative activity and the achievement of success in life; the experience of educational institutions of the districts of the city of St. Petersburg in the socialization of children by means of art, in the implementation of additional education, including during the period of adaptation to the conditions of preschool education, in project activities, in social actions when interacting with social partners is presented. Teachers of educational institutions told which organizations and under what conditions maintain partnerships.

156 teachers from various districts of St. Petersburg were registered for the seminar: Primorsky, Kalininsky, Vyborgsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Kirovsky, Pushkinsky, more than 20 reports were presented in total. 63 teachers took an active part.

The seminar was presented in 4 sections: “SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP: INTERACTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILD”, “SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP: INTERACTION TO HELP THE FAMILY”, “SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP: INTERACTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TEACHER” and POST REPORTS.

In their feedback, the seminar participants noted that “kindergarten 62 is not used to standing still, it’s nice that the kindergarten staff are always open, and the garden is developing”, as well as the relevance of the topic of the seminar, the severity of the problem raised, the practical orientation of the reports, “the innovative nature of the materials presented ”, a convenient format for holding a meeting, professionalism of the host. The participants acknowledged the productivity of communication, “the opportunity to peep ideas and apply them in their group”, and also thanked for the high-quality presentation of information, for the fact that “despite the pandemic, a huge educational work is being done.”

The ideas presented by the speakers of the seminar “allowed us to take a fresh look at the problem of social partnership, get acquainted with the best practices of colleagues”, “inspired research and the search for social partners to work with children.”

The participants of the seminar got acquainted with various forms of organization of the educational process in partnership with the families of pupils.

Learned about the interaction of the family and the kindergarten in coordinating the goals, forms and methods of family and preschool education; the value basis of interaction to create conditions for the successful socialization and self-realization of the child, his personal growth; formation of motivation for schooling; maintaining physical and mental health; cooperation between the family and the kindergarten aimed at harmonizing the relationship between all participants in educational relations; timely identification of problems of family education and effective socio-pedagogical and psychological support for the family; increase the responsibility of parents for the upbringing of children.

The event was attended by 72 teachers from the educational institution of the Primorsky district.

The decision was made “in order to popularize folk art and preserve cultural traditions, historical and cultural monuments, ethno-cultural diversity, cultural identity of all peoples and ethnic communities,” the document says.

The President instructed the government to form an organizing committee within two months, as well as to develop and approve a plan of main events for holding the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
