They can also vary in the degree of education and curriculum they offer. Additionally, some daycares offer bilingual programs for parents that want to immerse their children in multiple languages.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

KinderCare Orlando Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten Programs

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • Our daughter has attended KinderCare Orlando since she was three months in age and stayed until she graduated from their prekindergarten program. Her first graduation, of what will likely be many, was with friends and the greatest teachers. Everyone is full of love for our daughter. I could not have been happier with the center we chose. Its one of the great presents in this world and we are so blessed. Thank you Lina, Chancy, Dayna, Kathleen, Cari, Peggy, Megan, Nicole, Alex, and Yvette. All of your hearts for almost five years gave our daughter the care she needed. We also appreciate the engaging curriculum and general care they had for our daughter with every ounce of your soul. They gave me a peace of mind every day. I am so grateful we found KinderCare Orlando!

    Patty – KinderCare Parent
  • We love KinderCare! My son has been with KinderCare for over 4 years and my daughter started when she was just 12 weeks old. As hard as it can be to leave your children at daycare, I always have the peace of mind knowing that my children are in a safe, educational and loving environment. Both of my children have amazing teachers, who truly care about each of them as individuals. My son will soon be graduating Voluntary Prekindergarten and moving on to Kindergarten and we are truly sad to see his time ending at KinderCare. We’ve made wonderful memories at KinderCare and would highly recommend KinderCare to others!

    Cheryl G. – KinderCare Parent
  • We are very fortunate to have our daughter attending such a loving, caring and attentive school! Her teachers are creative and innovative with their curriculum.

    Melissa M. – KinderCare Parent
  • I have always found the staff at KinderCare to be friendly and to genuinely care about my son’s well being and learning. I can’t imagine taking him to any other school where he could receive the same quality education. I can heartily recommend this center and it is the first and only place to bring my child.

    Gregory M. – KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare has been a huge influence on our son’s life. Not only do they provide an excellent education but they also provide a loving and nurturing environment. Our son is always asking to go to school. We are extremely grateful for their support, love and dedication to all the children attending.

    Jennifer C. – KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare is a wonderful learning center! Jessica was so amazing during our tour and was just as amazing when our child started. Shamanda, the center director, is excellent! She has always been available to answer any questions, always on top of things and is very involved. The teachers and staff are so kind and really great with the children. This is the third place I’ve taken my child for childcare and I’m so happy with our decision. My toddler is in pre-school and is learning from all of the activities. So great to see my child come home with new skills. The staff here are all doing a wonderful job.

    Sarah W. – KinderCare Parent
  • I have my 4 kids in this center and they have been accommodating and amazing with them. My son had a traumatic experience with another daycare provider, and once I brought him to Kindercare he was so much happier. I couldn’t be more grateful for this center!

    Priscilla C. – KinderCare Parent

This indicates that the facility places a lot of value on early development and education. And as far as licensing goes, Florida requires all daycare centers to have proper background screening for their workers. They also have to apply for licensing before they’re open to the public!

1. The Learning Center of South Park

Coming in at number one is, of course, our facility. This may seem a little biased, but we have the credentials and happy families to back up our claims and consider our center as one of the best daycares in Orlando.

For starters, we place education very high on our list. We have what we call a “High Scope” curriculum. This means the child’s interests are fully supported and encouraged by their teachers.

Not to mention, all of our teachers are thoroughly vetted and trained to provide your child with the best care in Orlando. We believe in a hands-on approach to learning. So all of our activities allow the children to use their full senses.

We also provide care for all children under the age of 5! And all of our classes are small. Therefore, your child will always receive the care they need without feeling left out.

Here at The Learning Center, we have rules and regulations regarding our teachers and how they interact with the children. For starters, all teachers must understand child development and how these stages affect their perception of the world.

Teachers are not allowed to direct children towards a particular behavior or idea. Instead, we believe that children should be guided and encouraged to pursue a specific idea or behavior. And every day, your child will be able to choose what goal they want to accomplish.

We also disinfect our areas regularly to avoid the spread of germs and bacteria. This is especially important since were living in a post-pandemic world! Lastly, we are fully licenses, and our prices match our exceptional services.

2. The Learning Place Academy Orlando

This Academy is also one of the best daycares in Orlando, Florida. The Learning Place Academy is family-owned and operated! They have been in business since 1971, and they currently employ 11-50 staff members!

So it’s a smaller-sized daycare. Nevertheless, their program and curriculum speak for themselves. Their philosophy is a play-based approach that allows the child to grow their socializing and developmental skills.

They also place a hard emphasis on academia. Therefore, all of their classes are designed to enrich your child’s brain upon entering. They also offer extended care before and after school hours. And they have transportation services!

Overall, The Learning Place deserves to be in second place because of its great prices and attention to detail!

3. Kids Place Preschool

Orlando child care providers all believe in the same values: safety, cleanliness, and education. And Kids Place Preschool is no expectation! This establishment is also family-owned, and it was founded in 1985!

So they have many years of industry knowledge and experience to make them our top three contenders for one of the best daycares in Orlando, Florida. They offer affordable childcare to anyone in need but with an intimate feel!

They also have bilingual teachers! Therefore, if your child requires a Spanish-speaking caregiver, they can provide that for them. Their learning approach is very similar to The Learning Place, with their philosophy being play-based but with an academic touch. Overall, you can ensure your child will have a safe and fun time at this facility!

4. Center for Autism of Florida Corp

If you have a child with Autism, we know how hard it can be to find the best kindergarten in Orlando. Luckily, the Center for Autism of Florida provides exceptional care for children with special needs.

The Center for Autism believes in providing informative and emotional-behavioral services to students. And if you have an older child, this daycare center also provides services for middle-school-aged children!

This center is entirely centered around providing care for special needs children by guiding them through their emotional and physiological responses. The philosophy for this center is play-based.

The only negative of this center is that they have a 1:30 teacher/student ratio! So if your child needs extra care, this area may not be the best. But if you are now looking for the best daycares in Orlando, you might also want to consider it.

5. Adore Kidz Academy

Operating since 2016, Adore Kidz Academy is definitely on our list for the best daycares in Orlando. Their philosophy is to provide exceptional care that leaves the child happy and feeling safe.

Their classrooms nourish the child’s social and cognitive behaviors by providing the necessary tools for healthy development. They also believe that a balanced diet positively affects a child’s ability to think and act. Therefore, they provide three nutritious meals a day!

Lastly, this daycare center also believes in providing children with outdoor activities. So if you’re child has any outdoor allergies, you must consider this since recess is part of their daily schedule.

6. Chai Jewish Preschool

We thought it would be helpful to include at least one religious daycare center in our guide. The best daycares in Orlando are usually non-religious based. However, Chai Jewish Preschool is one of the best religious-based centers in the area.

They offer infant, toddler, and kindergarten programs that include Jewish values. Their curriculum is centered around art, music, and story-telling with a religious background.

They also place a high value on safety. Therefore, they have a high-security building with cameras and doors that lock automatically. Lastly, they also offer mommy and me classes for infants to children five years of age. With these, it is really one of the best daycares in Orlando, Florida.

7. Cranium Academy

Cranium Academy deserves a spot in our guide for the best daycares in Orlando. They provide exceptional care for infants. With their preschool program for children two to five years of age, their advanced curriculum involves critical thinking and team-building skills.

The elementary school also provides children with math, social studies, music, reading, art, and even foreign languages! Lastly, they also offer opportunities for field trips and holidays camps.

8. KinderCare Orlando

When looking at the best daycares in Orlando, you will come across KinderCare. This facility offers care for infants and pre-kindergarten children.

Their curriculum involves a play-based approach that inspires the children to grow and learn at their own pace. More specially, the pre-school curriculum combines early academia such as math and English– and social-emotional development.

And the infant and toddler curriculum focuses on language development with a hands-on approach. Lastly, KinderCare believes in independent play and learning. So your child will never be enforced or directed towards something they don’t feel comfortable doing.

9. Loving Earth Preschool and Development Center

You won’t finish your best daycares in Orlando lists without this school. Loving Earth Preschool and Development Center provides education and cares for infants under six weeks to children eight years of age.

Their curriculum involves art, math, technology, science, and even sign language! They also offer gymnastics and dance classes for older children. And what makes this facility part of our list of the best daycares in Orlando is that they provide a character development program.

This program teaches young children how to be more respectful, build friendships, be honest, and be generous.

10. Growing Together Academy

Last but not least, we have the Growing Together Academy on our list for the best daycares in Orlando! This family-owned facility and private school provide extended hours for all families!

They don’t offer infant care, but they do provide care for toddlers and pre-school-aged children.  The curriculum covers science, dance, language, writing, math, and music!

They also offer free VPK and before and after school programs. Lastly, they also provide children with a healthy meal to keep them energized throughout the day.

Review for: Universal Islands-of-Adventure theme park

    Useful information 🙂

    Very cool amusement park.
We took tickets to 2 parks and an Express Unlimited Pass, hoping to avoid the lines. We spent the first day at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Attractions (Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (bags and backpacks are not allowed, you need to stand in another line and leave them for storage. Only bananas are allowed with you) and Jurassic World VelociCoaster (a very scary slide even for roller coasters )), in which there are the largest queues Express Unlimited Pass does not work (this made us very upset, since the queues were 30-40 minutes long, which, in principle, negates the need to purchase the Express Unlimited Pass).
There are a couple of water rides, dress in quick-drying clothes (jeans haven’t dried all day). Near such rides there are drying booths for $5, but they will help to dry your hair and a light T-shirt a little.
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges left the most impressions – a huge amount of positive emotions and laughter, soaked through.
Before you try to dry off, go to Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls nearby (I also liked it, but it got a little scary from the steep descents).

    Review for: Discovery Cove

The most interesting place in Orlando!!!

A wonderful place where you can relax after a long flight, we decided to visit on the first day. We were in the last days of April, right after the American holidays, there were very few visitors. Tickets could be bought right on the spot on the same day (of course, we followed the information on the site so that they were exactly there). We did not reserve in advance, you can pay by credit card and cash. After we paid, we were photographed and issued cards with which you can visit Sea world and Aquatica water park within 14 days. We didn’t swim with dolphins (having read the reviews too), but we swam a lot with fish. It may not be so interesting for experienced divers (I read someone’s review), but this place is absolutely for everyone (including children, the elderly, who cannot swim well) to communicate with tropical fish. I never intended to study as a diver, to travel somewhere, dive, buy equipment, etc. I never had any plans, I just would like to swim among all kinds of fish once in my life, see them up close and I succeeded in this place. There was no underwater camera, I photographed fish from the bridge and stingrays near the shore. The stingrays are huge, they are not afraid of anyone at all, they swim very close and you can touch them. Do not wear earrings and other jewelry – the fish may be interested and want to try it. It is better to swim in special suits, we tried at first in vests – but it was a bit cold. You can also feed the tropical birds, if you’re lucky – some bird may sit on you and peck right out of your hands. But the birds seemed to me somehow a little sleepy and overfed, probably a lot of people who want to feed them. You can also swim in the “lazy river” and sunbathe on the white sand. You do not need to take sunscreen, there is a special one. A fairly large selection of food and drinks that are included in the price (I remember big hamburgers, fried salmon with potatoes, fruit salads and delicious desserts). The shuttle from the hotel took us only to Sea world, then you need to call the phone from the machine at the stop at Sea world and they will come for you. Back, if you want, they can also take you to Sea world. You can transfer to a shuttle from the hotel or to a trolleybus that travels along International drive.

Review for: Avatar Flight of Passage

    Best Disney ride to date

Feels like a super-real banshee flight. This is exactly what a virtual reality attraction should be. The only problem is the terrible queues. We did not use the fast pass in advance (it was possible to book 30 days before the date of visit), as a result, there were no time windows for the fast pass a few days before our dates. On the first day, we stood in line for almost two hours. In the second, they came to the opening and immediately rushed to this attraction, but still stood in line for 45 minutes.

Protect your eyes and save your glasses! And in general, rely only on yourself!

Do not repeat our mistakes! Climbing the water slides, I did not even think that I would lose glasses with diopters. a harmless-looking slide on an inflatable circle suddenly ends in a small springboard. Your raft turns over and hits you on the head and you find yourself under water. My glasses flew off and ended up at the bottom of the pool. The park worker did not allow even a minute to linger to get them. Where was he before? They could have at least put up a warning sign. We got the glasses … but already broken …

Things to know when on holiday with kids in Orlando

Orlando is one of the world’s most popular cities for families. Theme parks are especially popular here. Their visit will be more enjoyable if you know some of the features.

    • For younger visitors to the city and younger children, Walt Disney World is more suitable – here the minimum height requirements for toddlers are lower than at Universal Studios Orlando, which will be interesting for older children and teenagers.
    • Since theme parks are crowded places, it sometimes happens that children get lost. Therefore, you should prepare in advance for such a situation and first arrange a meeting with the child near a recognizable store, fountain or other attraction. Children need to be explained that they can ask for help from park staff, who can be recognized by uniforms or badges. It’s also a good idea to pin the parents’ phone numbers to the child’s shirt, especially if the child is still too young to talk.
    • Most hotels provide free cots and high chairs, but it’s best to reserve them in advance when booking your stay.
    • If you are traveling with a baby, it will be convenient for you to rent a stroller. This can be done at any park guest service office for only $15-20.
    • At Walt Disney World, you can keep your little one entertained and switch their attention by finding iconic images of Mickey hidden everywhere. They can be found anywhere in the park, from picture frames and doorknobs to fountains and Cinderella’s castle. So far, over 1,000 hidden Mickeys have been found at Disney.
    • When visiting Orlando, you can contact the child care service and hire a babysitter. The most popular are Kidz Night Out and The Babysitting Company. All nannies are individually screened, trained in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and undergo a thorough background check. While both companies ask for 24 hour bookings, they can also help at the last minute.
    • Orlando is a large city, and the attractions in it are located at considerable distances. The easiest way to move between them is by renting a car.
    • Every second Thursday of the month, after sunset, at 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm, Popcorn Flick in the Park, a free event hosted by the Enzian Cinema, takes place in Central Park. Everyone is invited to come watch classic family movies. Be sure to bring a blanket, snacks, and have a picnic.

The first episodes of the series “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” seem to have seriously quarreled critics and viewers. Experts are still very pleased with what they saw, couch critics – exactly the opposite. Screen adaptations of Tolkien are a very sensitive topic for fans of the writer’s works, and the new series can also be a test for them.

The plot of the series takes place long before the events described in The Lord of the Rings. The famous rings of power have not yet been created, Sauron has not yet become the main villain, a fragile peace reigns in Middle-earth, the elves defeated Morgoth, the orcs no longer disturb anyone. However, there are all signs that evil has only lurked, although few notice it.

It should immediately be clarified that The Rings of Power can only partly be considered an adaptation of Tolkien’s fantasy worlds. At the heart of the series there is no single and well-known literary material, therefore, along with characters familiar to everyone who read books and watched Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings, there are also characters invented by screenwriters. Probably, this is alarming for many and raises concerns about how new characters in future series will be able to fit into the world of already known ones.

In general, fears about the further course of the series united both critics and viewers. Visual solutions cannot fail to impress even those who are sure that no one better than Peter Jackson can visualize Tolkien’s worlds. Stunning landscapes in a branded fairy haze, dashing battle, interesting special effects – all this is quite in the spirit of Jackson and $ 715 million spent on the first season is visible from the very beginning.

However, the series cannot consist of general plans and battles. The characters have to say something, and the action develops. And so far there are problems with this. Probably the language of the elves seems stupidly pretentious, although it is possible that you can get used to it. It is more difficult to accept the extremely slow pace of the narrative. In the first series, of course, something happened, but the action associated with the characters practically did not budge.

And of course the characters themselves. Here it is much more difficult to reconcile critics and the public. After all, critics are part of the industry, and it has recently adopted a new set of rules for itself, in which there are the terms “feminism”, “cultural diversity”, “identity politics” and stuff like that. Spectators, especially those for whom Tolkien’s books and Peter Jackson’s films have become something of a refuge for the soul, are extremely unhappy with the invasion of new rules on their protected territory.

Of course, they are embarrassed by the powerful fem-energy of Galadriel, bubbling against the background of stupid men, and dark-skinned elves do not cause anything but the question: “Why?”. It must be admitted that many interesting scenarios have already been created on the principles of the new ethics, but the introduction of such attitudes into fairy-tale worlds and the historical context still seems to many to be a rude push of left-liberal views.

There are many angry remarks about the loss in the new series of what is commonly called the spirit of Tolkien. Haters are sometimes difficult to understand, but in this case, their outrage is most likely about the line of clash between good and evil. In Tolkien’s classics and their best film adaptations, the good characters are generous and noble, while the villains embody the nastiest traits.

In Peter Jackson’s film trilogy, this arrangement was strictly observed. But these beautiful pictures were taken at the beginning of the 2000s, when we all lived in slightly different conditions. Since then, a kind of diffusion has taken place between light and darkness, which has become big politics and, of course, has penetrated into popular culture. Perhaps that is why heroes and villains are now beautiful or terrible, depending on the circumstances.

The good news is that Morfydd Clark as Galadriel is fabulously irresistible. You just can’t take your eyes off her, and perhaps this particular character will be able to pull out the series. Elrond, played by Robert Aramayo, probably evokes some association with Legolas, who was played by Orlando Bloom in The Lord of the Rings. True, according to many viewers, these associations are mostly nostalgic, in the spirit of “there were times before.”

At the beginning of the series, of course, it is difficult to understand what it will turn into, but even now we can confidently call “Rings of Power” a spectacle that is pleasing to the eye and has potential. It would be a mistake to watch The Lord of the Rings under the impression. This trilogy, despite its age, still calls all fantasy serials into question.
