My name is Nancy Davila and I am proud to be a Claremont Nursery Parrot! I was born in Chicago but grew up in Puerto Rico. I am the 11th child out of 18. I grew up in such a large family that it prepared me to be with a large group of students. I have been teaching for over 3 decades and this is my fourth year at Claremont Immersion School! I have a real passion for working with our youngest students! Helping every child make progress in all areas of development, academic, social-emotional, language and motor skills is a challenge that I am honored to take on every day.
I strive to create a community of learners that promotes this growth in a positive and INTERESTING environment. I asked the responsible Miss Carrington where children from 8 to 14 go, and she said that few of them at this age care about education. They’re just waiting to be old enough to hit the mill. The only school available to them is far away. Lynchburg, Virginia.
