I have nothing but good things to say about Mrs. Gabby and Brighter Days; My children really enjoyed their time with them. The only reason I moved them from Brighter Days was because of The location change. My children learned, played, were fed and most importantly treated well by the staff. It was clean and organized and my kids had structure, something a babysitter doesn’t always provide. If you live or commute to The Moreno Valley/Perris Area, Brighter Days is definitely worth looking in to. We miss you, Mrs. Gabby and Ms. Stephanie!

Gabby & Stephanie are amazing! Not only did they teach but they loved on our babies. Had we not relocated, our kids would have continued to flourish with the Cisneros family.
Adriana Olague
If anyone is looking for child care I recommend them . My son Drew has been apart of Brighter Day’s since he was 11months old and now he is 5 years old going on 6 this year . He has learned a lot over these past years and I must say this provider is one of the reasons why my son is so intelligent and growing into the bright young one he is today. They are like a family and are very welcoming with open arms .

Recommend 100% for child care! We moved to Moreno Valley not knowing what to do for child care Brighter Day’s is definitely the most welcoming of the places we searched. Gabby and Stephanie taught my son things he still uses today and always made him loved

My experience was about 3-4 yrs ago… And i can say it was the best choice i ever made for my children. When its time for me to go back to work, i will be going right back to brighter days family daycare… The Cisnero’s are a family that cares and goes beyond for our children… It sadden my children just as much as it sadden me when my program came to an end.. This daycare is like no other. .. The children learn shapes, colors, numbers, and sooooo much more… Hands on was key… This place is not only a daycare, its more like family… So if you value the safety of your children… This is the right place for you..
Liva Ikaika
Brighter days is awesome. The Cisneros family is great with children. My kids have been there for about 4 years now and I wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else!

First days in kindergarten
Information for parents whose children are going to kindergarten
First of all, you yourself must be psychologically prepared for parting. Calm down and do not be nervous – any of your internal state is immediately transmitted to the child. It is in your power to make sure that the baby overcomes the adaptation period without much nervous cost.
Veto home discussions about future kindergarten issues in front of your child. Does it seem to you that the baby, who is dragging the car along the corridor with a roar, does not hear anything? Be sure: not only listens, but also absorbs like a sponge! And while on a subconscious level, he assimilates: something unpleasant is being prepared. Therefore, all talk about upcoming changes should be conducted in the absence of a child. nine0005
Don’t scare the child. Phrases like “Don’t play around, otherwise I’ll send you to kindergarten!” can instill fear in his soul, which will then be difficult to overcome. It is better to take the baby to kindergarten for an exciting excursion in advance. Introduce him to the teacher, ask permission to look into the group or the hall for sports and music classes, show the playground. Such fleeting impressions are necessary for the child – this place will no longer seem alien, in his thoughts he will gradually begin to get used to it. nine0005
Do not idealize kindergarten, otherwise it simply will not meet the expectations of your baby. The best thing to do in this situation is to be honest. Tell your son or daughter what they will do in the group, what requirements exist there (obey the teacher, follow the daily routine, do not offend other kids).
Find out the daily routine and start sticking to it at home. Do not forget to remind at the same time: “And now the children in the garden go to bed (go for a walk, sit down to dine). ”
Do not promise your child rewards for attending kindergarten. Let him know right away: a normal life is ahead, there will be friends, interesting games, walks in it, and you need to get involved in this life right away, and not sit by the window until the evening waiting for your parents to come.
Try to set the baby up for friendly communication with unfamiliar children, but be sure to warn in a soft way that they are all different: there are capricious, pugnacious, naughty ones, but you don’t need to be afraid of them or imitate them. nine0005
When the X-hour comes, don’t make this an outstanding event. Think over everything to the smallest detail in order to do without haste and nervousness. Prepare spare clothes in a separate bag in advance so that the baby can change in case of emergency. All things should be as simple and convenient as possible (without intricate fasteners and tight buttons). Give your favorite toy with you – with it the child will feel calmer.
First, leave the “rookie” in the garden for 1-2 hours, be sure to take him home before lunch. Gradually increase this time. nine0005
And what to do when the baby constantly cries and literally grabs your skirt? Psychologists recommend not to drag out the separation and not to “tease” the child with your presence. As a rule, within a few minutes after your departure, the baby calmly joins the game – the child’s psyche is flexible and easily adapts to the new.
Develop your own farewell ritual. For example, have your baby wave to you from a window or blow a kiss. Come up with a secret password and repeat it when leaving the child and returning for him in the evening. And tell me that you always think about him, even when apart! nine0005
Now you spend less time with your baby than before, but something else is important – the tenderness and warmth of your relationship, love for each other, which the child should always feel.

Chapter 13. How the day works in kindergarten
The example of how the day is organized is the easiest way to understand what happens in kindergarten: what time does breakfast start, what time are classes, how much time is spent for a walk and naps.
One of the first questions asked by parents who are interested in a private kindergarten is the opening hours. A full day usually lasts 12 hours, for example, municipal kindergartens are open from 7 am to 7 pm. In our experience, it does not make sense to open the garden before 8 am: many clients are in no hurry to work at a certain hour and are interested in starting the day later. Most of the kids come at 9-9:30. In practice, this means that from 8 to 9 in the kindergarten there should be one of the teachers – the one who meets the first children. The working day of the assistant educator can begin at 9 o’clock. At this time, it makes no sense to organize classes, you can invite children to play or draw. At 9:30 you can start breakfast. Take into account that not all children are going to a certain hour. You can try to set a condition for parents: we have breakfast at a certain time, and if you want to bring the child later, then feed him breakfast at home. However, it is worth remembering that parents rightly believe that they have the right to expect that the schedule of the kindergarten will be convenient for the child and for themselves. This does not mean that you need to adapt to everyone, but you will have to compromise. nine0005
At 10 o’clock you can start the first classes, which can last until 12 (which classes can be offered, we describe in detail in chapter 16).
Next – a walk, usually at least an hour. Do not forget that the kids need at least 15 minutes to get ready for a walk, and 10 minutes to undress and wash their hands after the walk. This means that lunch starts at approximately 13:30. After lunch – “quiet time”. In practice, this very “hour” lasts about two hours: until everyone settles down, while we read a book, listen to music, sing a lullaby – it’s already half past two. It’s great if after sleep there is an opportunity to arrange a little exercise, and then a light afternoon snack. At 5 o’clock, you can start a new block of classes or go for a second walk. Those who stay in the kindergarten for a full day are entitled to dinner at approximately 18:30. The last hour can be devoted to quiet games or reading. It makes no sense to schedule classes at such a late hour – the children get tired emotionally and physically during the whole day. As a rule, not many children stay in the kindergarten until closing – this means that one of the employees may stay until 8 pm. nine0005
So our day looks something like this:
8:00-9:30 am free play time
9:30-10:00 am – breakfast
10:00-12:00 – class
12:15 –13:15 – walk
13:30–14:00-lunch
14:00–16:00 – quiet hour
16:00–16:30 – exercise
16:30–17:00 – afternoon tea
17:00–18:30 – activities or a walk
18:30–19:00 – dinner
19:00–20:00 – free play time
everyone is interested in the fact that the child spent a full day in it. For many, especially non-working mothers, it is beneficial to give the child away for half a day, say up to two hours. Those who work may be interested in an intermediate option of staying until 17:00-17:30. Depending on the number of hours a child spends in kindergarten, the amount of payment also changes. nine0005
