Then 10 years later my daughter came along……So,you guessed it…. I’m still here.
What started with a way to make money and work at home now it has given me an opportunity to help other families.
Just a little info about choosing a State Certified In home Childcare Home.

Walk around the city of Louisville (Louisville, Kentucky).

Louisville (Kentucky) – the largest city in the US state of Kentucky, but not well known outside the state. Its most important advantage is the famous Kentucky Derby races, held annually at the Churchill Downs Racecourse, where the Queen of England also comes.
Louisville was founded in 1778 and named after King Louis XVI of France.
The pronunciation of the name of the city is a litmus paper that separates “us” and “them”. If you pronounce, as it is written, with the letter “c”, then they may not even understand you and they will certainly look with a condescending smile. “Louiville” will be better, but the most “correct” 🙂 Kentucky pronunciation is Louvil.
Surprisingly, the Russian Wikipedia has a very long article that talks about this city (more fully than about larger cities).

So, we arrived in Luvil 🙂 on one of the August days, just to walk around the city, visit some interesting places. The day was not very hot and plus a pleasant breeze from the Ohio River, on which the city is located.

Parked near Louisville’s favorite vacation spot 🙂 – 4th Street Live complex – roofed section of street with a permanently installed stage for daily concerts, a string of cafes, restaurants, clubs and bars.

The stage and sound equipment is always ready. Yeah, they planned to come one evening to the concert.

The famous Hard Rock Cafe is also here.

English pub. How without it?!

The restaurant of the famous brand of bourbon “Maker’s Mark”. We also saved it for next time. Today we have another fantasy-shmansi restaurant (for the sake of which we actually came) – “Proof on Main” in our plans for lunch.

Advertising. Bourbon “Maker’s Mark” – Kentucky champagne. 🙂

A couple more shots. Above.

And from the other side of the street.

And of course the Louisville police. They keep order.

Then we went to the very central part of the city, to Main Street, with its “Museum Row” – a line of museums.
All this is close, a short walk. But it is also possible on such a bus, stylized as a tram.

Or by bike, a popular mode of transport here. Throughout the city, various squiggles are installed – places for parking bicycles.

We looked at numerous monuments along the way. Handsome Louis the 16th, after whom the city is named.

Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of America. Located on the street named after him.

Monument – a memorial to the fallen firefighters.

Memorial to fallen soldiers.

From this point you can see two pink lighthouses located on one of the tall buildings in the distance.

Direction and distance indicator to sister cities. There are only 7 of them, the second from the top is Perm, Russia.

If we have just painted horses in Lexington, here we have horses with jockeys.

Public garden in the center. Tower 5/3 of the bank is absolutely identical to the tower in our city (probably in all cities).

And this is not a monument at all, just free newspapers and magazines.

The airport is located close to the city and during the walk the planes flew right over our heads, it seemed they almost touched the skyscrapers and tower cranes.

Here we are on Main Street. Part of it is built up with new buildings.
Such a futuristic Kentucky Center built in 1983. The Kentucky Center hosts concerts and theatrical performances. The Louisville Ballet, the Louisville Orchestra and the Opera are also located there.
In front of the complex there is a puzzle – figures.

Another grandiose building, reminiscent of the Egyptian pyramids. The headquarters of one of America’s largest health insurance companies – Humana.
It’s clear where our insurance premiums go. The building is so grandiose that you do not know how to approach it.

Lined with granite, waterfalls flow down the walls. I’m sitting here for scale 🙂

Such wonderful doors.

And impressive colonnades.

It’s scary to imagine what beauty is inside. We found out that it was possible to book a private tour and decided we would do it someday. We must make sure that our money is spent on real art!

Another part of the street was more ancient and historical. And from some buildings only facades remained.

And in every building, where not only facades – a museum.
Children’s scientific and technical. The children have just left and are waiting for the school bus.

Here he is.

There is a huge mirror near the children’s museum. For some reason it makes me fat 🙁

In the distance, you see – a huge baseball bat near the museum “Louisville Slugger Museum”.
