New places for babies | Odintsovo

After reconstruction, a kindergarten was opened on Mozhayskoye Highway in Odintsovo. It will be able to accept 120 children, thanks to which the queue for preschool institutions in the 6th microdistrict will be completely eliminated. In accordance with the national project of the President “Demography” in our district, a program is being implemented to organize new preschool institutions in those neighborhoods where the shortage of places is especially acute.

Return to the origins

In Soviet times in house number 96 along Mozhayskoye Highway in Odintsovo there was already a kindergarten. It was built in 1980. In the 90s of the last century, the building passed into private hands. A year and a half ago, the municipality took it back and overhauled it.

Kindergarten is part of the educational cluster of the Odintsovo Gymnasium No. 14. Competent redevelopment of the premises made it possible to increase the number of pupils to 140 people. For greater coverage of children of preschool age, 5 groups have been formed here, designed for children aged 2 to 7 years.

The program continues

Also new front gardens continue to appear in our municipality. In addition to the five mini-gardens for 615 seats that appeared last year, three more front gardens for 170 seats were added in January-February: two in Novaya Trekhgorka on Kutuzovskaya and Skolkovskaya streets, and in Lesnoy Gorodok on Fasadnaya. By the end of the year, it is planned to create another 155 places in the new front gardens. Additional preschools will appear in the most “hot” spots of the municipality, where there is the greatest shortage of places.

In addition, design and survey work and the construction of several more kindergartens are planned for 2022. These are preschool institutions in the city of Kubinka, in the “Hussar Ballad”, on Kutuzovskaya Street in Odintsovo, in the village of Novoivanovskoye and in microdistrict 7-7A of the city of Odintsovo. Some of them, for example, a 400-seat kindergarten in the Gusarskaya Ballad and a 330-seat preschool in Kubinka, are already under active construction and will be commissioned by the end of the year. For the rest of the facilities, work is also underway and their commissioning is scheduled for 2023-2024.

In the next three years, 11 educational facilities will be built in the Odintsovo District. This will create 1,430 new places in kindergartens and 6,050 places in schools.

“The contractor coped with the difficult tasks assigned to it. The overhaul was carried out with high quality, now the building fully complies with modern standards for preschool educational institutions. The garden is equipped with the necessary equipment, furniture, toys.”

The construction of kindergartens and schools is carried out within the framework of the governor’s program “Construction of social infrastructure”

Kindergartens are badly needed, the queue is long. We have a huge microdistrict, young, so there are a lot of children. I am already thinking about how I will go to work, most likely, I will need a nursery, as I plan to send my child to kindergarten from the age of two. But the line is even longer. I really hope that in a year she will be able to arrange her son in kindergarten 9New rules for kindergartens , approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, can reduce queues at preschools and legalize small private kindergartens, the initiators of the changes hope.

The new regulation abolishes the mandatory certificate from a pediatrician if the child has not attended kindergarten for more than three days and does not have “obvious signs of illness”.

The document allows gardens to operate without their own kitchen and laundry, using external services.

It is expected that this will allow small commercial establishments located in apartments or private houses to get out of the shadow and obtain a license.

Fewer certificates

In the text of the regulations, the word “certificate” is mentioned only three times.

A health certificate is now needed only when a child is admitted to a kindergarten, after an infectious disease and for swimming in the pool.

The pediatrician’s statement, which was still valid, is no longer valid after three missed days.

“Children after a temporary absence from kindergarten for other reasons (except for an infectious disease. – Rev. ) are accepted without medical certificates in the absence of obvious signs of illness,” the document says, sent to education departments throughout Ukraine.

If the parents brought the child to the kindergarten and the caregivers suspected that he was unwell, he should be examined by a regular medical worker, explained Svyatoslav Protas, acting. Chairman of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service.

Food unit

If the preschool does not have its own food unit, prepared food for children can be ordered from other suppliers that comply with all legal requirements.

At the same time, “responsibility for poor-quality food will be borne by the entity that provides this service,” and not the kindergarten management, Svyatoslav Protas specified.

The same applies to laundry. You can now order external laundry services, unless they serve infectious disease hospitals or chemical facilities.

These two requirements – the lack of their own kitchen and laundry facilities – often prevented small private gardens from obtaining a license.

The new regulations also allow bunk beds for children to be used in gardens to save space.

The authors of the regulation note that this does not mean an increase in the number of children in groups.

Good teachers

The government hopes that the new regulation, on the contrary, should make kindergartens accessible to children and parents.

Today, over 90,000 children are on the waiting list for kindergartens all over Ukraine, of which more than 14,000 are in Kyiv alone, they say in the Ministry of Education and Science.
