Our program provides a wide variety of activities to enhance each child’s opportunities to play and learn. We emphasize a “Play Based Learning” approach. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed where each child’s self-esteem is strengthened and opportunities are given to promote independence and success.

Our dreamers program is for our infant program, ages 3 months-2 years. The mission for this group is building a strong attachment in a safe and loving environment. We offer small child to teacher ratios and quality care that nurture’s developmentally appropriate play experiences.

Our explorers program are our toddler program, 2 year olds. We strive to promote a play based environment that encourages learning through exploring and hands-on experiences. We focus on providing a nurturing and safe environment for children to build friendships and develop language skills.

Our imagineers are our preschoolers, ages 3-4 years old. The goal for this group is too foster a curiosity for learning and developing their social and emotional skills. We have created a curriculum that allows children the flexibility to learn through discovery and experimentation. Our curriculum also encourages children to begin to form a relationship with God by learning about Him through stories, pictures and songs.

Our innovators are our pre-k class, ages 4-5 years old. In this classroom we focus on Kindergarten readiness where children acquire the skills needed to be prepared for their transition to Kindergarten. We will continue to dig deeper into our relationship with God by continuing to offer an engaging faith based curriculum. Your child will graduate from this program with a strong self image and a relationship with God that will lead to excellence in future endeavors.

Our caring staff realizes the importance to help each child develop to his or her full potential.

Our teachers are dedicated early childhood professionals and play an important role in shaping and influencing the children’s learning and environment. They love and study the field and are knowledgeable in what children need to excel in their faith and reach developmental milestones. At Northgate we offer opportunities for developmental growth through continued learning, professional development and trainings so our teachers stay up to date with the latest research in the Early Childhood Education field.

Northgate Christian Fellowship Childcare Center is open from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday. We will be closed on all major federal holidays.

We do not have a potty train prerequisite for our younger programs. However, children must be potty trained by the time they enter into our pre-k program at age 4.

Parent communication is a priority in our program. For our infant and toddler program you will receive a daily report on your child’s day. For our preschool and pre-k program you will receive daily communication through email, newsletters, in person teacher check ins and conferences.

We serve breakfast, morning snack and afternoon snack. Parents will bring the children’s lunches daily. All of our meals are healthy, nutritious and follow the Solano County food guidelines for children ages 0-5.

We offer various events throughout the year including back to school night, Halloween parade, Holiday concert night, Valentines day party, picture day, Easter celebration, Mother’s day brunch, Father’s day donuts, open house, pre-k graduation and more!

ABOUT US

Baby MacBean Child Care Homes exist to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child’s social and emotional growth, as well as physical and cognitive development.

We use an integrated model for the care and education of infants and toddlers using Magda Gerber’s respectful approach. In the parents’ absence, children need adults who will both nurture and educate them, or act as an educarer. As opposed to a teacher, who educates, and caregiver, who nurtures, the educarer does both; thereby providing a continuum of care from parent to educarer. Providing this continuum from family to childcare is a fundamental component of our program.

Geography

According to the US Census Bureau, the city has an area of ​​40 714 km ² , of which 33 486 km ^{2 occupies} land, and 7. 229 km ^{2 –} water, or 17.75% from the total area.

History

The city was chosen between 1853 and 1854 as the capital of California before it was permanently moved to Sacramento. Therefore, the Capitol was built here, which is still visible at Benicia Capitol State Historical Park (FR) .
