AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Church Ranch KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • Both of our children have attended KinderCare at Church Ranch since they were 12 weeks old. They have gained so much from their time here. They’ve learned how to make friends and share, how to help themselves and their classmates, how to use their imaginations and express themselves. It’s so much more than great care!

    Stephanie R. – KinderCare Parent
  • The structure at Church Ranch KinderCare is highly educational and provides a great environment for learning and growth. Above all, the teachers and staff are focused on trust, care and safety.

Holidays with children on your own. Westminster Abbey in London (Westminster abbey)

Westminster Abbey in London (Westminster abbey) has always played an important role in the life of the British – monarchs were crowned and buried here. Although, by and large, this is the house church of the monks who lived and worked here until the middle of the 16th century.

Westminster Abbey is very beautiful and impressive – its high vaults and colorful stained-glass windows seem to combine mystery and tranquility. But the relics stored inside may not be of much interest to children, no explanation a tour of the abbey can quickly get boring for them.
The official audio guide for Westminster Abbey is included in the ticket price , there is an audio guide in Russian. He will guide you in detail through the vestibules of the abbey, and you can retell the most interesting stories from the audio guide to the children. Be sure to let them listen to the boys’ choir, which is recorded in the audio guide.

The intricate labyrinth of rooms in Westminster Abbey can become interesting for children if you explain to them in advance – the graves of which historical figures they can try to find here.
In the center of the abbey is the tomb of King Edward the Confessor (St. Edward), who erected this building almost 1000 years ago.
Queen Elizabeth I and her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots, who was beheaded on her orders, are buried in the left vestibule. Here are two young princes, Edward V and Richard, whose mysterious murder in the Tower in 1483 raised a lot of questions (it is assumed that they were killed on the orders of their uncle, the future King Richard III).

Must-see in Westminster Abbey “ poets’ corner “. But let’s be disappointed – when you see Shakespeare’s name, do not think that he is buried here – only his memorial is located in the abbey.

After visiting the main sights, you can go to the souvenir shop and cafe – they are located in the premises where the monks lived and worked. If you walk through the abbey garden, you can see the Westminster Abbey School – a very prestigious educational institution in England.

Westminster Abbey – history
Xia in west London. The abbey is a Royal Peculiar, the property of the monarchs, not subject to the archbishop.
Westminster Abbey has been the coronation site of all English monarchs since 1066. William the Conqueror, who conquered England, was the first to be crowned here. Various ceremonies are held here, royal persons, prominent figures of English culture, politicians, and representatives of the clergy are buried. The abbey houses the burials and monuments of more than 3,000 people.

The place where the abbey now stands was chosen from ancient times for holy places. According to legend, at the beginning of the 7th century, King Sibert founded the West Minster Monastery (“Western Monastery”) here. Unfortunately, these data are not documented, the first reliable mention of Westminster Abbey dates back to the reign of Edward the Confessor. The Norman-style stone abbey building was consecrated in 1065. It was a grandiose temple, not inferior in size to the current one, but almost nothing has survived to this day. Only a few underground passages survived, the Pique Chapel treasury (until 1365, the treasury, royal regalia and jewelry were kept here, “pique” means “box”) and the chapel under the dormitory – a huge hall in which the library is now located. You can see roughly what the abbey looked like then only on an embroidered carpet of the 11th century.

King Henry III in the middle of the 13th century decided to build a new building in the Gothic architectural style on the site of the Norman Abbey. He wanted the abbey to become a place of burial and coronations of monarchs, and not just a place for services. To this end, he sent his architect Henry Rein to study abroad, which is probably why the abbey is made in a style close to French Gothic. In 1220, the chapel of the Mother of God was built. The current church building was built during 1245-1269years.
The reconstruction of the abbey lasted over 200 years. The best architects of their time took part in the construction – Heinrich Yevel, Robert Beverly and others. Many English kings had a hand in the expansion and decoration of the abbey.

During the reign of Henry VII in 1503, the Chapel for Ladies was added to the main building, which received his name – the so-called. chapel of Henry VII. In the middle of the 15th century, the size and appearance of the abbey were already close to modern ones. Only minor changes were made: in 1740, two towers were built on the west side. According to contemporaries, these “barbaric” changes changed the appearance of the abbey for the worse.
The persecution of the English monasteries begins in the Reformation era. Being closely associated with the royal family, the abbey suffered less than the other monasteries. It continued to serve as a place of coronations and a tomb for monarchs. The burials of famous people of England began to appear much later, in the 17th century, and even later, in the 18th century, it became customary to put up memorial plaques – the abbey became a kind of pantheon of glory.
