The Learning Curve

The Mentoring Project is a collaboration between LDABC The Learning Curve and the Victoria Child Care Resource and Referral program. With funding, input, and support provided by VCCRR, our Project offers mentorship, professional development, parent workshops, and consultation services to Child Care Providers and families. Despite these acts of colonization, Indigenous people continue to have vibrant communities and cultures.

As a community-serving organization we recognize that we have the responsibility to work towards truth and reconciliation, and to remain open to suggestions and consultations, especially with local First Nations, Inuit and Métis people, about how our organization can continue to work towards reconciliation.

We hope that the Victoria Child Care Resource and Referral Program acts as a gathering space for children, families, and elders, and is a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all people, including Indigenous peoples.

Private kindergarten “Harmony”

Kindergarten “Harmony” is located in its own, completely renovated two-story building, with a swimming pool, in a protected area of 1 hectare, located in the western administrative district of the capital, at the intersection of Rublevsky highway and Kutuzovsky prospect. The garden is open from 8:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday. Groups of different ages work in a flexible mode, which is chosen by parents. Each group is a spacious playroom, bedroom, dressing room, pantry and sanitary facilities.
