We deep clean and sanitize the playrooms multiple times a day with a biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner. The compressed rubber flooring is specially designed to aid in the long-term joint a paw health of your furry child.

So you never feel separated from your dog, we have webcams in every playroom so you check in on them throughout the day (excluding naptime and overnight). All you need is a device that is connected to the Internet.

Your dog’s safety is our number one priority, which is why our Canine Coaches must complete a rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior. Our team knows how to recognize even the most subtle dog body language, and handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

Dogtopia of Greenwood has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

Supreme Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche.

The Supreme Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche (Erdni Ombadykov) condemned the war in Ukraine and declared that the Ukrainian side was right in it. This is the first public criticism of the war from the religious leader of the Russian region, Kavkaz.Realii writes.

Lama called the war “great suffering” and declared that it was not needed. “The Ukrainian side, of course, is right. She defends her country, her land, her truth, her Constitution, her people. It is very difficult to say and accept that Russia is right. It’s very hard to say, I can’t,” said the lama on the air of the YouTube channel “Alchemy of the Soul”.

Telo Tulku Rinpoche noted that he had not previously commented on the war in Ukraine because he “did not want to spoil relations between the government and our Buddhists”. In mid-June, he already made an anti-war statement, but without a specific reference to the Ukrainian events.

Now the lama is in Mongolia, where he left after the arrest of American basketball player Brittney Griner. He, too, is a US citizen and, according to him, did not want to risk staying in Russia. Being the supreme lama of Kalmykia since 1992 years old, Telo Tulku Rinpoche wanted to obtain Russian citizenship in 2022.

In early May 2022, representatives of a number of traditional confessions in Russia – Orthodoxy, Islam, Buddhism and Judaism – supported the military aggression in Ukraine. They called for “prayerful support for the soldiers and all people of good will fighting against Nazi, neo-Nazi, terrorist and religious extremist forces,” referring to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer formations.

In the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan, a student of the 11th grade was detained, she is suspected of trying to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office. This is reported by the Telegram-channel “Baza”.

According to the “Base”, during the detention the girl was found with a Molotov cocktail. She managed to throw the other two in the direction of the draft board – the bottles did not hit the building, but, falling a few meters from the wall, set fire to the grass.

The girl explained to the police that she wanted to set fire to the military enlistment office, as she opposes war and mobilization, Baza reports. The student was arrested.

Also early this morning, an unknown person tried to set fire to the military enlistment office in Krasnoyarsk. He threw two Molotov cocktails into the building. As a result, a double-glazed window melted, the premises were not damaged, the fire was extinguished by the guards of the military registration and enlistment office.

Criminal cases are initiated against detainees on suspicion of arson, including under articles on intentional damage to other people’s property. The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces stated that arson could be regarded as terrorist attacks with a punishment of up to 15 years in prison.

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, military enlistment offices, police departments and city administration buildings are set on fire all over Russia. After the announcement of mobilization, the number of such attacks increased many times over. In total, at the moment there are about 50 arson attempts.

Also on October 3, a 21-year-old local resident was detained in Mordovia on suspicion of preparing an arson or undermining a state institution. It is reported that gunpowder and chemical reagents were found at his home. The suspect confessed, and a criminal case was opened against him.

Protester in Iran. September 2022.

At least 133 people die during ongoing protests in Iran. More than 40 of them are in the city of Zahedan, where police shot dead protesters who accused the police chief of raping a 15-year-old girl. This is reported by the human rights organization Iran Human Rights.

Protests in Iran began in mid-September after the death of 22-year-old women’s rights activist Mahsa Amini from the Kurdish minority. She was detained and beaten by the vice police for loose hijab. A week later, protests swept over 30 Iranian cities, including the country’s capital, Tehran.

In Zahedan, protesters also demanded punishment for a police chief who reportedly raped a 15-year-old girl. On September 30, residents of the city gathered at the police station to protest. Some of them threw stones towards the building, and the video also contains footage of a burning police car. They opened fire on those gathered from the station and from a helicopter circling above them. Later, the Iranian authorities called the incident a “terrorist attack” on the police station. As a result of the execution, according to various sources, from 19up to 58 people, hundreds injured.

Thousands of Iranians continue to protest against police violence and, more broadly, against Iranian authorities’ brutal crackdown on dissent. From the very beginning of the demonstrations, women tore off their hijabs and defiantly twirled them in the air, some publicly burned them, and also cut off their hair in protest. A few days later, demonstrators began shouting anti-government slogans “Death to the dictator!” and “Khamenei will be overthrown!” directed at the country’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In response, Iranian security forces fired shots and other metal balls at the protesters, used tear gas and water cannons, and beat them with batons. Iranian authorities have restricted access to the Internet. They promise to investigate Amini’s death, but refuse to comply with the other demands of the protesters.

During anti-government demonstrations, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that Iran “should resolutely crack down on those who oppose security and tranquility in the country.”

Authorities blamed the protests on foreign interference, without specifying the names of the intervening countries, and opposition from abroad, who allegedly used Amini’s death to foment social unrest. Such rhetoric is used by the leaders of many authoritarian countries, whose citizens come out to protest, demanding respect and expansion of their rights.

On October 1, marches in solidarity with Iranians protesting the oppression of women took place in many cities around the world.

According to the rules adopted after the Iranian revolution in 1979, women are required to dress modestly in public, wearing a hijab and a long, loose robe. The rules are enforced by the vice police, which includes both men and women.
Former Iranian President Hassan Rouhani accused the vice police of being “overly aggressive”. In 2017, the chief of police said that women would no longer be arrested for violating the dress code.

Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek sentenced Bishkek resident V.E. to one year in prison with a sentence in a strict regime correctional colony for posting on the social network Twitter.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the capture of the city of Liman, Donetsk region, by the Ukrainian military.

The liberation of the city was announced the day after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the annexation of four Ukrainian regions, including Donetsk.

“Here, Russia staged a farce in the Donbass. An absolute farce, which I wanted to present as a referendum… And now there is a Ukrainian flag… The Ukrainian banner is already in Liman, Donetsk region. There is still fighting going on. But there is no longer a trace of some kind of pseudo-referendum,” Zelensky said in a video message on the evening of October 1. On Sunday, he said Liman was “completely cleared.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the night before that Russian troops had left Liman, allegedly retreating to “more advantageous positions.” The front now passes to the east of the city, approximately along the administrative border of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Commenting on the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about applying to join NATO, Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that now is not the time to deal with this issue. He stressed that the United States continues to support NATO’s open door policy, but at the moment it is more relevant to provide Ukraine with practical assistance to repel Russian aggression.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi said that Ukraine, in her opinion, should receive “security guarantees”, but did not directly speak about support for its entry into NATO. Democratic Congressman Mike Quigley, who recently visited Kyiv, bluntly supported the Ukrainian bid, saying NATO’s goal is precisely to protect democracies from authoritarian regimes.

Munster, Indiana

Munster is a city located in North Township, Lake County, Indiana, United States. This bedroom community is in the Chicago metropolitan area, approximately 30 miles (48 km) southeast of the Chicago Loop, and shares municipal boundaries with Hammond to the north, Highland to the east, Dyer and Schererville to the south, and Lansing and Lynwood to the direct west. off the Illinois border. History

Early history

The earliest known inhabitants of the area were the Potawatomi. Although the village did not exist in what was to become the boundary of the city of Munster, the natives walked well along the trail along the dry sandy ridge, now known as the Ridge Road. Today, downtown Munster, City Hall, Police and Fire Department Headquarters, Visual and Performing Arts Center and Munster Post Office are located on Ridge Road.

In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, what is today Münster was part of the lands claimed by France as French territory. In the 1760s, the British claimed the land where the Potawatomi lived as part of the British Empire. As the number of Native Americans dwindled, pioneer settlers began to populate the area that would become Munster.

When Jacob Munster, a young man from the Netherlands who spelled his last name “Monster” until the 1860s, ^[12] opened a general store with a US post station on the back, local farmers and settlers came to rely on the post station, which soon became the United States Post Office. The post office was called Münster, as it was located in Jacob Münster’s general store.

Soon more and more people moved to the “Münster” area, and at 19In 07, Münster was incorporated as a city, with 76 residents voting in favor of the unification and 28 voting against.

Münster soon became a booming city that attracted many people. Munster experienced hard times during the difficult years of the Great Depression. During the Cold War, Münster served as the site of a Nike-Zeus missile defense C-46 base. The site was closed in 1971 and is now privately owned. ^[13]

In September 2008, northern parts of Munster were hit by flooding from Hurricane Ike, causing the Little Calumet River to flood. The main breach occurred at a dam located near the intersection of Calumet Avenue and River Drive in the city’s northwest quadrant. Munster requested the Army Corps of Engineers to raise a dam in the lowlands. The dam improvement work has been completed and most of the destroyed houses have been rebuilt, in most cases into larger houses with more amenities. ^[14] ^[15]

Münster’s comprehensive plan for the next twenty years in 2010 includes plans for a new city center with shops and restaurants to be organized around the proposed railway station. ^[16]

Demographics

As of 2011, the median income for a household in the city was $75,349, and the median income for a household in the city was 9$7,222. The median household income was $95,108, and the median family income is the highest in Lake County at $117,985. The estimated per capita income for the city was $36,914. There were 9015 households out of which 32.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% were married couples living together, 9.6% were living in a household with no husband present, 3 .9% – without a wife, and 27.5% do not have a family. 24.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. Average household size 2.59, and the average family size is 3. 10.

The average age of city residents was 44.8 years. 23.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20.1% were between 25 and 44 years old; 30.9% were between 45 and 64 years old; and 18.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender composition of the city was 48.0% male and 52.0% female. The average was taken in 1999.

2000 Census

West Lakes District, established in the late 1990s, is located directly east of Lansing Municipal Airport.

Census ^[6] In 2000, there were 21,511 people, 8,091 households and 6,141 families living in the city. The population density was 2852.8 people per square mile (1101.5 / km ²). There were 8,339 housing units at an average density of 1,105.9 per square mile (427.0/km). ² ). The racial makeup of the city was 92.28%. White, 1.03% African American, 0.06% Native American, 4.49% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 1.10% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races. Businesses and Attractions

The newest addition to the Three Floyds Brewing Company is the distillery.

The city is home to a number of local, regional and national businesses and extensive community resources. Among them are Community Hospital, Center for Visual and Performing Arts, The Times of Northwest Indiana newspaper, PepsiCo bottling and distribution complex, Whole Foods Market distribution center, Community Veterans Memorial, LEED-certified Centenary Park and Golf Course, Casquet House Museum at Heritage Park, Beaker Woods Wilderness Area, eleven miles of bike paths, community innovation program art and sculpture, the new Munster Music Festival, the vintage Munster Centennials baseball team and the Babe Ruth baseball team.

In the spring of 2011, Simborg Development renewed plans to renovate the 72-acre Lake Business Center overlooking Calumet Avenue for $60 million, opening new commercial opportunities for the City of Munster. This development, originally called the Munster Town Center, which was to create a mixed-use center of retail stores and restaurants, commercial offices, medical facilities, and an extended stay hotel, was modified to serve storage space and maintain a high-tech exterior image for development.

Current tenants include DaVita Dialysis, MAC Medical Supply Co. Inc., Tec Air Inc. and Community Hospital Therapy Center. Noodles and Company and Meat Heads have their restaurants in a two-story building. Additional tenants include Midwest Orthopedics in a Hurry and Starbucks and Belly, each of which has separate restaurants south of the Noodles & Meatheads building. ^[20] ^[21] A Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel is anchored at the northern end of the complex. ^[22]

Centennial Village

One of Münster’s newest redevelopment projects is the area immediately surrounding the former Munster Steel plant, located north of the city’s Centennial Park. ^[23] The territory called “Centenary Village” will be multifunctional. transit-oriented development, once completed, it will feature both retail and multi-family residential buildings. ^[24] ^[25] Calumet Avenue class separation planned since early 1940s, with Henry Ford leading the change. However, America’s involvement in World War II and the creation of a federal highway system have halted these plans to date. ^[26]

The project will be implemented in two phases; it is part of the larger 45th Avenue/Calumet Avenue underpass and redevelopment project in which Phase 1 includes an eastward extension of 45th Avenue into the Centennial Village development with two new traffic lights and the creation of an underpass under the Canadian National Railroad tracks to align with 45th at Columbia Avenue. Meanwhile, Phase 2 includes the creation of an underpass on Calumet Avenue. ^[24]

Transportation

The nearest commercial airport to Munster is Gary/Chicago International Airport in Gary, but most Munster residents and visitors travel from Chicago O’Hare International Airport or Chicago Midway International Airport. Lansing Municipal Airport, located west of Munster in Lansing, Illinois, serves the general aviation market.

Munster is south of the Bormann Expressway (I-80/94). Calumet Avenue is the city’s main north-south artery and becomes US Route 41 just north of Borman. Interstate 65, the Indiana Tollway, and US routes 12, 20, and 30 are within a 20-mile (32 km) radius.

Education

The City Hall is located right off Ridge Road, Munster’s main historic street.

In the School City of Münster the city public school system. All five schools in the system are recognized as Indiana Blue Ribbon schools and have five-star ratings. Munster High School is one of several schools in Indiana Newsweek Top Schools list for 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 1875, the Munster School Board (which at the time was not officially known as School City) operated a single three-room schoolhouse located on the corner of Calumet Avenue and Ridge Road. After finishing grade 9, students attended high schools in Hammond or Highland and completed grades 10-12.

A new modern building was planned for elementary students in the late 1950s. Wilbur Wright High School opened in 1960, bringing Lanier into elementary school. Several classrooms and a resource center were added in the following years. With the school system continuing to expand, the board seriously considered adding a high school. The original proposal included a spacious building for 1,200 students and a sports facility with a swimming pool. However, the cost of more than $6.2 million was not liked by the public. In response, a modified project was submitted, and construction began on June 1965 years old. The doors to the new high school opened to students in September 1966.

A new elementary school was added in 1969. Frank H. Hammond boasted 25 classrooms, an auditorium, and a learning center. When enrollment at the outdated Lanier School fell in the late 1970s, the board decided to close it in 1980.

Frank H. Hammond Primary School is the newest of Munster’s three public primary schools.

As of 2011, two of the three primary schools in Münster have been completely rebuilt; The new buildings for James B. Eads Elementary School and Ernest R. Elliot Elementary School were completed in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Wilbur Wright High School has also undergone major expansions and renovations. Recreation

The nine-hole Centennial Park golf course was designed by Ted Nugent Golf in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

Münster has ten parks, three lakes, a nine-hole golf course and driving range, eleven miles of bike trails, an innovative public art and sculpture program, and two recreational areas. Centennial Park, the newest and largest of these facilities, was built on the site of a former landfill and opened in 2007. This award-winning park includes several eco-friendly design elements that meet LEED Silver recommendations. The methane from the landfill is captured and converted into electricity to power the park.

Centennial Park facilities include green roof clubhouse with ballroom, View summer seat restaurant, nine holes (Ted Nugent of Nugent Golf in Vernon Hills, IL.) designed golf course and driving range, amphitheater with live stage , lake with two bridges, three fountains, fishing opportunities and boardwalk, sculpture walk (in progress), formal botanical gardens, outdoor pavilions, walking trails, Pennsy Greenway access, 3-acre dog park, and soccer fields. The Public Park is another popular Münster park that hosts the city’s annual car and motorcycle show. Features of this facility include an outdoor swimming complex, a skate park, floodlit tennis courts, playgrounds, baseball fields, a basketball court, a social center and picnic areas. The park is located immediately east of the Munster branch of the Lake County Public Library.

Junior baseball league was first organized in the city at 1952, and Babe Ruth Baseball was founded in 1954. Munster teams have won six state championships since 1985. Greenwood Police Department Chief Jim Eason said a man opened fire in the Greenwood Park food court. According to him, the attacker fired from a rifle. Eyewitnesses heard at least 30 shots.

One of those killed was an alleged shooter whose identity has not been released. He was shot by an armed citizen, Eason said. Two more people received gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and other agencies are assisting with the investigation.

Greenwood is a suburb of Indianapolis with a population of about 60,000.

Abdullo Gurbati

The court of the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe postponed sentencing of journalist Abdullo Gurbati, who is accused of publicly insulting a government official, violence that is not dangerous to life or health against a government official, and participation in an extremist community. The journalist and his lawyers deny the charges.
