ABOUT

    Bestday Care is a nonprofit preschool that offers care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old.  We align our educational philosophy with the Creative Curriculum, which is a thematic curriculum that allows students to learn concepts, term and ideas taught using creative strategies with developmentally appropriate goals and objectives. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating learning environments and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds. Our teachers are passionate about early childhood education and it shows through

their love and adoration for their students.

Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 6:00pm

We offer full time and part-time care.

​

We have cameras in every classroom that allow parents to log in and view a live feed of their Childs day.

​

Tuition includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. 

​

Our playground is 80% covered providing a shaded and comfortable outside area to play.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

Creative  Curriculum & Teaching Strategies Base

    The Creative Curriculum includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language.

     The social/emotional stage helps promote independence, self-confidence and self-control. Within this stage, children learn how to make friends, how to have group interactions and how to follow rules.

    The physical stage is intended to increase children’s large and small motor skills.

    The cognitive stage is associated with thinking skills. Children learn how to solve problems, ask questions and think critically.

    The language stage deals with communication. Children learn how to communicate with others, listen and participate in conversations, and recognize various forms of print. In this stage, children begin to recognize letters and words and begin writing for a purpose.

STEAM

At Bestday  Care we incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) within all of our daily lesson plans. Each classroom takes part in taking care of our school’s garden.  They will plant, water and weed each week while tracking the progress of their vegetables and flowers. The kiddos then get the joy of eating the vegetables they grew!

IMAGINATIVE & CREATIVE PLAY

We encourage our young learners to use their creativity and imaginations as often as possible. We incorporate these techniques within many of our lessons and daily activities. We follow the Creative curriculum for all ages. Each month there is a school theme ranging from Community Helpers to Transportation to the Ocean. The classrooms will then base their lesson plans off of that theme. The children will learn through art, dramatic play, music, books, experiments and much more! 

OUTDOOR PLAY

Our playgrounds are amazing!! We take pride in having our playground 80% covered, so we can provided outdoor play each and everyday regardless of the weather.  The playgrounds are split by age. We have a two’s and under playground as well as a Threes and up playground. 

LIVE FEED CAMERA/SECURE FACILITY

We have a secure facility that requires an access code to enter the building. We also offer LIVE FEED Video for you to view your kiddo(s) all day long!
