Enjoy the Bright Start Approach to Learning

We have created a curriculum for all classrooms with activities that are designed to be different, flexible, and encourage active hands-on learning because all children are unique with individual abilities. This allows each child the freedom and opportunity to develop at their own pace.

Feel Confident Your Child Will Be Ready For Kindergarten

By incorporating the “Foundations” in our early learning curriculum, our program excels in these 3 key areas:

Assessments Give You A Clear Perspective Into Your Child’s Growth & Development

By using an assessment tool created by the state of Indiana to ensure Kindergarten readiness through the “Foundations,” our teachers focus on each child’s developmental progress. This allows teachers to create curriculum based on where each child is developmentally to ensure all stages of development are being met.

Teachers Provide Different Levels Of Educational Content Based On Your Child’s Needs

Because the “Foundations” are developmental skills that build upon each other, teachers are able to create one activity for the children and manipulate that activity to meet the individual developmental needs of each child

Our Focus Goes Beyond Your Child’s Educational Development

We understand that in order for a young child to be successful it is important to focus on the entirety of all growth and developmental areas. All curriculum tools used are based on research and best practices that focus on the following benchmarks: English/Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, art, Creative Arts, Social/Emotional, Large/Small motor, Personal Care and Safety.

“They do a great job keeping the kids entertained and constantly learning new things”

My son loves all his friends and teachers here. They do a great job keeping the kids entertained and constantly learning new things. You can tell all the teachers love the kids and really enjoy working there. Even through COVID they did everything they could to stay open as long as possible. Bright Start put protocols in place and stayed open much longer than many other places locally. It was a great help for working parents to know that they still had childcare available.

They incorporate education into the day and not just “watch the kids”. My son is very very shy and clings to me almost at all times and his teachers have made him feel comfortable and safe. I have no worries about my child throughout the day when I leave him here. The teachers who run the daycare are amazing!! They have never once forgotten who i was there to get, their name, and what room they were in. They run a really good, caring, and trustworthy daycare.

“Decent park”

July 2017

I think I’m spoiling and expect better based on the reviews. It’s not bad but shows age and needs some refurbishment. Descending route by the river that now ends in front of the pump house (destination), deteriorating benches, edged weapons, shabby toilets. Lots of things that look good (mowed grass) but others were frazzled (nice stone plaque commemorating “Death Valley” which is broken in half). We enjoyed walking the city with the dog along the river, not the lack of bikes, but the cement pavement across the mowed lawn is not quite a nature excursion to me. The viewing tower overlooking the park was a nice addition. The reflection pond and closed bridge were lovely, but beware of drivers trying to “lay down the tires” as they ride. The playground was lovely and was popular with many kids this afternoon. It’s the perfect place to run, walk, or bike, but doesn’t differ much from the parks in many towns and cities.

“Great park!”

June 2017

This is a well maintained, aesthetically pleasing, peaceful public park. It is an open green area with a good balance of man made (covered bridge, fountain/lake and trails) and natural (riverbank) areas to make it interesting. Like pretty much everything else in Columbus, it’s clean, there are no interesting people you have to watch out for, and that’s just fine. There is also a basketball court, running tracks and a playground. Definitely worth a stop in Columbus!

Super destination, excellent walk

Nov. 2021

Perfect for a walk anytime, but gorgeous at sunset. We’ve driven through the park on other visits, but we stayed nearby at Hotel Indigo and could walk over at dusk. Great to see the various structures up close and slowly, and then treated to a beautiful sunset. Covered bridge over pond ringed by bald cypress.

Former US Vice President Mike Pence has registered as a candidate for the 2024 United States Presidential Election. This was reported on the website of the American Electoral Commission.

The 63-year-old politician will officially announce his nomination during a speech at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday, June 7th.

The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024. In the election race, Pence will compete with former President Donald Trump . Relations between them deteriorated after the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The former vice president refused to support Trump when he tried to cancel the results of the 2020 election, which was won by Joe Biden . The former vice president has become a key witness in the investigation into Trump’s alleged attempts to reverse the 2020 election results.

In addition to Pence, former US President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley , South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and other politicians also intend to become a candidate from the Republican Party.

Election to Congress

In 2000, he was elected to the House of Representatives and served on committees on agriculture, small business, the judiciary and international relations.

In 2009-2011, he served as chairman of the Republican Party Conference, advocated strengthening the fight against illegal migrants, strengthening border controls and reducing federal budget spending

In 2009, opposed the policy of “reset” with Russia pursued by the administration of Barack Obama.

Governor of Indiana

Elected Governor of Indiana in November 2012. In this post, he carried out a massive tax reform that led to the largest tax cut in the history of the state, cut funding for public schools, cut spending on prisons, social services and universities, etc. Pence ran for a second term as governor, but on July 15, 2016 of the year, decided to withdraw from the election race after the announcement of Donald Trump about the choice of Pence as a candidate for the post of Vice President of the United States.

US Vice President

In the November 8, 2016 elections, Donald Trump and Mike Pence defeated Democrats Hillary Clinton and Timothy Caine . On January 20, 2017, Pence took office as Vice President of the United States.

Since June 2017, Pence has led the resurrected National Space Council and oversaw U.S. policy on security, commerce, and international cooperation in space.

In February 2020, Pence led the Coronavirus Task Force.

On August 19, 2020, the Republican Party Convention confirmed Pence as a running mate for the November 3 election. On December 14, the Electoral College confirmed the victory of Biden-Harris, giving them 306 votes, Trump-Pence – 232 votes.

On January 6, 2021, Pence, along with Senator Chuck Gressley, were taken to safety due to protests by supporters of the current US President Donald Trump. The vice president condemned the storming of the Capitol and did not review the results of the presidential election. According to the American leader, Pence had all the necessary powers to do this.

On January 20, 2021, Pence stepped down as Vice President of the United States in connection with the transfer of power to the new administration of Democrat Joseph Biden.
