We have been in the Argyle for 2 years. We used to homeschool and some of our kids wanted to try public school. Having experience with the Hilltop Elementary , Argyle Intermediate, & Argyle High School…we have loved our experience. The transition was very smooth for the kids. I will tell you I was very selective on what school district we would place our kids. There is no perfect school, but Argyle ISD has exceeded my expectations. I will also share we foster kids as well, some have not had the best academics and Argyle ISD, teachers, & staff have made the process very smooth for all of our kids. They have gone above and beyond to help with the needs of our kids. Now looking for a larger home, we don’t want to leave Argyle!

This district is rife with corruption. A school board member created a company then submitted an RFP to the district within just a month or so of forming his company, and was awarded by his fellow school board members hundred of thousands of dollars to install a new phone system. This same school board member’s wife was given tens of thousands more dollars to replace the flooring in a school that flooded. Board members using their positions for profits, and everyone has swept it under the rug. Unbelievable. Funds grossly misused for personal gain at the expense of students and faculty.

Fast growing school district, and it really amazed me how well they have their plans layed out already to accommodate and welcome all new families.
We moved from a huge ISD in Houston area, and to compare with that, the attention and resources each student receives here is a big plus. We love how staff pays attention to individual students.
