AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Charter Lane KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Mini-Camps

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • I just wanted to pass along our thanks for all that our center does for our daughter.  On Friday, the center hosted a Fall Fest for the kids and parents to enjoy.  We had an amazing time and greatly appreciated all the prep work that it took to pull that off.  In addition, we know that our daughter is in great hands at the center.  Her teachers, the director, and assistant director care about our daughter which is evident in the way that they interact with her.   We have always appreciated from our first visit that they speak with her (at that time she was only a few months old) and then focus on us.  She always has and does come first which is a hallmark of a great center!

    Christopher F – KinderCare Parent
  • We see the staff at KinderCare as our extended family. The care that they have given to my daughter over the years and the things she is learning while in Pre-K Counts are amazing. I am confident that she will be ready for Kindergarten.

What to do if you miss the charter or miss your flight / Chip.Travel Blog

Masha and Sasha booked the tour 3 months in advance. The day before the trip, they packed their bags, five hours before the flight they called a taxi. According to Masha’s most pessimistic calculations, the car was supposed to deliver them to the airport in an hour. There are 4 more in stock. But along the way they got into a traffic jam. Sasha and Masha are angry with the roads, go with the government, but this does not save. The plane was late.

Traffic jams, change of flight time – no one is insured. If you need to get to the airport from another city, the delay of trains, buses, planes is added. Be fully prepared – read what to do if you are late or about to miss your flight.

Situation one. You are late for registration

If you rushed to the airport 30 minutes before departure, and check-in has already ended, don’t panic – while the plane is on the ground, it’s too early to be nervous. Some airports have a check-in latecomer counter, through which you can be escorted to the plane. Most often, this service is paid. In Domodedovo, such a counter is located in sector C, it costs 50 euros per adult, 25 euros per child.

If check-in is still in progress, but you are late for it, you can issue a ticket refund. By law, this can be done no later than 40 minutes before departure. Call the call center of the air carrier or issue a refund on the company’s website. The penalty is about 25% of the ticket price.

What if the plane took off. In this case, run to the airline counter, explain your situation and ask to exchange your ticket for the next flight. Most likely, the airline will issue a fine, but it will be cheaper than buying new tickets.

Contact the travel agency immediately. The manager will help you find an airline representative at the airport, contact the tour operator and confirm your return tickets and hotel reservations. If you cannot or do not want to fly on the next flight, buy more tickets and reschedule the tour, inform the travel agent. The manager will cancel the trip and try to refund the money for the hotel and return tickets.

Read the blog: What if something went wrong during the flight?

Situation two. You checked in but missed your boarding

If you have time for check-in or pre-registered via the Internet, you still may not be in time for boarding. Long queues at passport control, a large unfamiliar airport, too tasty coffee in a restaurant – all this can cause a flight to be missed. On charters, passengers are monitored with particular care. Latecomers will be loudly called to board for 10-15 minutes before departure. Most often, the plane can be delayed for several minutes, waiting for all passengers. But – no more: do not count on a half-hour flight delay while you slowly finish your croissant in an airport coffee shop.

Read, but don’t laugh too hard: Real stories of missed flights

When the plane has departed, leaving you and your luggage to grieve over your missed vacation, it’s time to take matters into your own hands. Delay due to the fault of the tourist is not reimbursed in any way – you will have to buy tickets at your own expense. If you are late for a good reason, you can return the money for the ticket, but usually not more than 75%.

When can I get my money back?

Air carriers practice an individual approach to passengers, so it’s worth trying to get a refund for an unused ticket. In such a situation, the reason for being late for the flight is important. You have a chance for a successful refund if you are late:

  • due to delayed connecting flight;
  • emergency at the airport or on the road;
  • long inspection at the airport;
  • illness or death of a close relative.

Art. 108 clause 2.2 of the Air Code of the Russian Federation states that the cost of the ticket is returned to the passenger in full if he or a member of his family falls ill, a close relative dies. In this case, you must provide documentary evidence in advance, no later than the end of check-in for the flight. You will have to provide copies of the sick leave or death certificate, attach a document of kinship. The money will be returned in cash or on a card.

If you are late due to a long security check at the airport, a delay in your connecting flight, then the responsibility lies with the carrier. If you provide documents proving the reason for the delay, the air carrier will meet halfway.

Read the blog: Travel insurance – rules, difficulties, tricks

Sometimes a refund is not possible. Read the contract carefully when buying a ticket and ask about the type of air tickets. Promotional and cheap promotional tours can be classified as non-refundable Non-Ref, the cost of which is not refundable even with valid reasons for being late. The only thing you can count on with such a ticket is a refund of the part of the fare, which is airport taxes and other fees, approximately 15%.

The travel agent is your best friend

If you buy a package tour, consider that you have an additional “bonus” – an omniscient and experienced manager who will do his best to solve problems painlessly. Call a travel agent – he will tell you where to run and what to do.

What can a travel agent do?

If the tourist is late through no fault of his own, he will help to correctly compose a written appeal to the tour operator explaining the situation. In this case, the tour operator can transfer tourists to the nearest charter for free.

If you are late due to your own fault – you went on a spree in duty-free, stared at aquarium fish at the airport, started celebrating your vacation in advance in a cafe – even a super-travel agent can do little to help. At best, he will try to get the cheapest tickets for the next charter flight.

Golden rules for not missing your plane

  1. Always check the date and time of your departure. Especially if you book a tour a few months before the trip.
  2. Arrive at the airport with a good margin of time. Plan an extra half an hour or an hour for each section of the road so that you are at the airport 2-3 hours before the flight.
  3. Forget about short transfers. Even if you are an experienced traveler and have never been late at the airport, you should not buy tickets for flights that are 30-40 minutes apart. The stock should be at least 3-4 hours.
  4. Be sure to contact the maintenance representative at the hotel the day before your return flight. The flight can be canceled or rescheduled, and you forget to warn.
  5. Look at the map of the airport in advance. Find out which terminal you are flying into, which one you are flying in from – this will protect you from senseless running around the maze of an unfamiliar building.

One more piece of advice: carefully read the fare conditions of your air tickets. And choose trusted travel agencies that will not leave you alone with trouble at an unfamiliar airport.

98 migrants returned home to Iraq on the first charter flight from Belarus organized by IOM with EU support

98 migrants return from Belarus to Iraq as part of the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (VAR) program © IOM 2022

Minsk safe, voluntary and dignified return home. On the night of March 21-22, in coordination with the Government of Iraq, IOM organized a charter flight for migrants who wanted to return to Iraq through the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration number of irregular migrants”, funded by the European Union.

In the fall of 2021, Belarus saw a significant increase in the number of vulnerable migrants. Thousands of migrants, among whom were many citizens of Iraq, were “stuck” on Belarusian territory. IOM expanded its activities, initiated the work of a project team directly in Grodno (a city near the Belarusian-Polish border) and regularly visited the transport and logistics center, where more than a thousand migrants temporarily lived, to provide humanitarian assistance and register those wishing to return home to participate in the SDVR program. People who applied for the program were transported by IOM to the capital of Belarus, Minsk, where they underwent medical examinations, received the necessary assistance and flew to their countries of origin on commercial flights.

Seeing that interest in returning to Iraq increased again, IOM organized a charter flight from Minsk to Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan.

We are morally tired. Plus, my son got sick. When we turned to IOM for medical help, we were also told that we were given the opportunity to return home. We couldn’t miss her,

says Shaker, a father of four from Erbil.

Before departure, each participant in the program was screened, which included PCR testing for COVID-19, checking for symptoms of COVID-19, examining and identifying any urgent medical interventions that may interfere with travel. All were healthy and were able to be allowed on the flight. On the morning of March 22, they landed safely at Erbil International Airport. Upon arrival, they were met by IOM staff and airport staff provided onward transportation to Dahuk, Sulaymaniyah and Erbil. IOM Iraq, in particular with financial support from the European Union, will provide eligible people with reintegration support, including individual counselling, economic reintegration assistance and support in accessing specialized services, including psychosocial support.
