Frequently Asked Questions
-
What information about my child do I need to provide to creches?
Most creches in Roodepoort will have an application form that parents or guardians must complete. Include as much detail as you can when completing these applications. It makes it easier for the creche to deliver the right care for your child and have consent to act on your behalf in emergency situations.
-
Who can pick up my child from creche?
In most cases, the person who dropped off your child must be the person who collects them at the end of the day. However, there are many children who get fetched by au pairs, nannies or other members of the family. If that will be the case for your child, make sure you let the creche know beforehand. They might request to see a photo of the person who will be fetching your child too.
-
How do I know my child will be in safe hands if I leave them at a creche?
It’s important to do a background check before deciding which creche in Roodepoort will be suitable for your children. Creches are responsible for children aged 0-3. This makes it important for them to be a safe space for your little ones. Try to find creches in Roodepoort with good reviews from parents that you know.
Check a creches credibility by following these tips:
– Check the qualifications or experience of staff
– Have a face-to-face interview or meeting
– Check the creches references
– Make sure at least one staff member holds a First Aid certificate.
– Go on a tour of the creche and make sure the facilities are up to scratch -
Will a child with allergies or special needs be safe at creche?
Yes, caregivers who work for creches should have experience helping children with allergies or special needs. However, they must be informed beforehand and provided with relevant medicine or medical instruments. Speak to the creche managers in Roodepoort in advance and ensure they are fully prepared for the day.
-
What happens if my child is injured?
Every creche in Roodepoort must have a first aider within their staff. They will be able to help your child if they get injured and they’ll inform you about the injury. In the unlikely event of a serious emergency, the staff will let you know as soon possible and potentially transport the child to hospital to receive emergency medical care.
-
Will my child be accompanied to the toilet?
Yes, all children at a creche should be escorted to the toilet, especially if the child is not potty trained. If your child is still in nappies, then you’ll probably be required to bring enough to last for the duration of the day.
-
What happens if my child gets upset while at creche?
If the staff struggles to calm down your child within an hour, then they will probably inform you that you child is feeling unsettled. You might have to pick up your child if they’re truly unable to cope. However, this is not a common occurrence as most children adjust to their environment in about 20 minutes.

Daycare costs, nanny costs, and ways to save money on childcare
The average monthly cost of daycare in the U.S. is around $850, while hiring a private nanny costs around $2,450 a month. These numbers may seem low or high to you, and that’s because costs vary widely depending on where you live, how old your child is, and what type of care you’re looking for. To find daycare costs near you, reach out to local childcare centers, ask friends what they pay, and check with your local Child Care Resource & Referral Agency. If you’re struggling to afford childcare, there are income-based government-assistance programs that may be able to provide financial support.
For many parents, childcare is a substantial expense, and one that’s become even more costly in recent years: Daycare costs have increased by 214 percent over the last three decades, according to the First Five Years Fund, one of many groups advocating for more affordable childcare. Today, daycare in many states is actually more expensive than in-state public college tuition!
As you start to research childcare options and consider how they’ll factor into your family finances, here’s some information on the average daycare costs, plus ideas and resources for how you might be able to make daycare more affordable for your family.
What is the average cost of childcare?
According to nonprofit organization Child Care Aware, the average monthly cost of full-time daycare in the U.S. in 2020 was around $850. On average, families who hire a private full-time nanny spend around $2,450 per month, according to a 2021 survey conducted by Care.com.
Those averages provide a ballpark range for childcare costs, but there’s really no simple answer to this question. Nanny and daycare costs depend on a number of factors, including:
- Where you live
- What type of childcare you choose
- Your child’s age
- How many hours a week your child spends in childcare
Where you live is what really determines the bottom line. For example, the monthly average cost of full -time, center-based infant daycare in Mississippi was $494 in 2020, compared to $1,881 per month in Massachusetts. Often times this is connected directly to the cost of living and wages in a specific location.
Daycare – whether in a center or in someone’s home – could cost double, triple, or even quadruple in a relatively expensive city compared with a more affordable area. Check with friends and caregivers near you to find out the going rate for the type of childcare you prefer, and don’t be afraid to gather several quotes from different places before making your decision or assessing your budget.
Some couples may think that having one parent stay at home is the less expensive option, but being your child’s full-time caregiver has costs, too – most significantly, the loss of your previous income. Read more about what to consider if you’re thinking about being a stay-at-home parent.
To find out more about daycare costs and options in your area, contact your local Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agency. There are hundreds of agency locations throughout the country that provide families with information about local childcare options and resources.
To find an agency near you, you can search for one on the Child Care Aware website. The site also features a helpful tool that tells you the average cost of daycare and home daycare in your zip code.
How much does daycare cost?
Daycare costs vary based on the same factors above, notably where you live, how old your child is, whether you’re enrolling them in full- or part-time daycare, and if you’re using a center- or home-based daycare facility. You’ll pay more for childcare during the infant and toddler stages because very young kids need more hands-on care, so the center must hire more caregivers. Daycare costs for preschool-age children are generally lower.
Daycare costs for infants
The average cost of center-based infant daycare ranges from $5,993 to $22,577 per year ($494 to $1,881 monthly) depending on which state you live in, according to Child Care Aware of America.
The most expensive states for infant daycare are:
- Massachusetts: An average of $1,881 a month
- California: An average of $1,449 a month
- Washington: An average of $1,447 a month
- Minnesota: An average of $1,414 a month
- Hawaii: An average of $1,385 a month
The least expensive states for infant daycare are:
- Mississippi: An average of $494 a month
- South Dakota: An average of $619 a month
- Arkansas: An average of $625 a month
- Kentucky: An average of $631 a month
- Alabama: An average of $650 a month
Daycare costs for toddlers and preschoolers
Depending on which state you live in, you’ll pay anywhere from $5,933 to $20,776 a year ($494 to $1,731 a month) for center-based daycare for a toddler, according to Child Care Aware. Those prices range from $5,439 to $16,781 a year ($453 to $1,398 a month) for center-based daycare for a 4-year-old.
Massachusetts is the most expensive state for a 4-year-old in a childcare center. Following right behind are New Jersey, Washington state, and Connecticut, where average costs exceed $13,000 per year. The least expensive states for a 4-year-old in daycare, all costing less than $7,000 a year, are Mississippi, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Kentucky.
How much does an in-home daycare cost?
The cost of home daycare also depends on your child’s age and where you live, as well as the size of the facility and whether it’s licensed. Some in-home daycare providers charge almost as much as bigger daycare centers, while others charge very little, especially if they’re close friends or neighbors of your family.
The average cost of licensed home daycare for an infant starts at around $5,500 a year and goes up to more than $12,000 a year (that’s $458 to $1,000 a month), but in large cities this cost is likely to be higher. For 4-year-olds, the average cost for home daycare starts at about $5,000 a year and goes up to more than $11,000 a year ($417 to $917 a month).
How much does a nanny cost?
The price of a nanny can vary, depending on where you live, how many children you have, and how stiff the competition is for qualified candidates. But on average, nannies can cost around $612 a week for full-time care, according to Care.com. (An older International Nanny Association survey calculated that average a little higher, at around $765 a week.) Your costs might be a bit lower if you choose to hire an au pair or a live-in nanny.
Hiring a nanny may be your most expensive option for childcare, or you may end up finding out that it’s more cost effective for you if you have more than one child. Whatever you decide to do, keep in mind that when you hire a nanny you become their employer, and the government expects that you will pay your nanny’s Social Security taxes and fulfill other responsibilities.
Since a nanny is an employee, many parents pay for their nanny’s health insurance. If you do this, the nanny usually picks their own health plan and provides you with the financial breakdown. You can then decide to pay for all or part of the premium, which might give you a tax credit. You may also want to offer other benefits, such as paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. (Hiring a nanny through a local agency is another option, and the agency usually helps with the contracts, taxes, and other logistics.)
Ways to help make daycare more affordable
Childcare is a huge expense, but often an essential one for families where both parents work or in single-parent households. If you’re struggling with figuring out how you’ll afford daycare, here are a few ideas and resources for potentially saving money.
Ask a relative to care for your child. Grandparents and other relatives nearby may be more than happy to help provide childcare, often for free or for way less than what daycare costs. That said, if you’re fortunate enough to be in this situation, you might want to find some type of compensation other than money. Get your relative gift certificates for restaurants, movie theaters, or their favorite store; surprise them with a thank-you card and flowers every few weeks; or offer to pay a bill or help with household chores or yard work. You should also plan on giving your relative days off and vacation time.
Look for corporate discounts and company perks. Many daycare centers offer discounts for employees of larger corporations, so be sure to ask when you’re researching options. And as more private companies provide generous paid family leave packages, they might also offer childcare benefits you don’t know about, from babysitting stipends to backup childcare options. Ask your HR department about what benefits are available; or if you’re looking for a new job, keep perks like these in mind.
Consider a nanny share. A nanny share is when a private nanny cares for the kids of two or more families at the same time, either at one family’s house or back and forth between each. This allows parents to split the cost of a private nanny, making it a more affordable option.
Pay for childcare through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Some companies offer employees access to a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, which lets you use pre-tax dollars to pay for childcare. Ask your HR department if this is something that’s available. It may not help you save money month-to-month on daycare expenses, but it can lower your tax liability at the end of the year.
Look for low-income support or assistance. Every state offers income-based assistance for those who apply and qualify that can help pay for or subsidize the cost of childcare. To find out what’s available in your state, check the database on Child Care Aware for a list of state-by-state resources. Other help is available through the Child Care Development Fund and state-by-state Head Start programs.

Thank you very much for your love and care for our children! My daughter goes to the garden with pleasure, talks about interesting activities, loves Galina Maratovna and her physical education lessons, and especially the pool! At home, she sings songs to us, which they learn with Olga Evgenievna! I can confidently say that the best matinees in Chernogolovka are held in the recreation center Solnyshko! Thanks to our dear teachers and teachers!

My daughter attends the kindergarten “Solnyshko”. Group number 8. Relations in the group are developing well, the child is happy to go to the garden in the morning. Diana Dakostaevna (our teacher) does everything to make the atmosphere in the group positive. Thank her very much for this. In general, I am satisfied with the work of the kindergarten.
Victoria Alexandrovna
Absolutely satisfied with the work of our wonderful educator Diana Dakostaevna Mokrovaya, assistant, teachers and substitute educator. The authorities should pay attention to cleaning in the garden building. The issue of landscaping and walking areas also remains open.
Olga Yurievna
Congratulations to all employees of the kindergarten Solnyshko on their professional holiday!
We wish you peace of mind on the holidays,
Always enjoy everything,
Always only joy and positive,
Patience and creativity in work.
So that your quiet hour is really quiet,
So that everything works out beautifully and dashingly.
So that discipline, and so that obedience …
So that happiness knocks on you without delay,
So that life is sonorous, like children’s songs,
And every year of yours was interesting!
Health, patience, kindness, inspiration! Thank you for your work!
Parents of the Lily of the Valley group.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the substitute teacher of the younger groups – Kulkova Elena Yurievna! Very responsive and conscientious teacher. Also great with kids. The child goes to the garden as home.
Elena
I express my heartfelt gratitude on my own behalf and on behalf of Ganina Yulia Nikolaevna – mother of Alisa Ganina, a wonderful person, highly professional specialist, educator of group No. 5 “Rays” Eremina Galina Viktorovna! Thank you for your attention, your love, your care, your patience, your dedication!!! Thank you for the great mornings, excellent preparation for school (testing at our school showed a high degree of Sophia’s readiness for school), for the fact that you were always there!
I wish you professional growth, new pupils and good parents!!!
With respect and gratitude to you,
Ekaterina Syresina, mother of Sofya Syresina,
Yulia Ganina, mother of Alisa Ganina, graduation of 2018.
Good afternoon. My son goes to the fifth group to Eremina Galina Viktorovna. During my visit, I had only good impressions about the kindergarten. I want to express my deep gratitude to Galina Viktorovna for her approach to each child. For the calling to organize and interest children in the educational and creative process. The child goes to the garden with pleasure.
Many thanks to Nina Mikhailovna Sokolova, teacher’s assistant. Her concern for children and participation in festive events is beyond praise.
Galina Viktorovna and Nina Mikhailovna, thank you for your hard work.
Marina
My son Isoyan Haykaz goes to the preparatory group N5, teacher: Eremina Galina Viktorovna! We have been going to the garden since the opening for the third year. We are very grateful to Galina Viktorovna for the excellent preparation of the child for school, as well as for her kindness and responsiveness.

Children go to the kindergarten “Solnyshko” for three years. I would like to note that all this time the garden is constantly developing and changing. Gradually, our kindergarten became cozy, an experimentarium and a sensory room were opened, where children love to go and share their impressions in the evening. Thanks to the administration of the garden.
I also want to express my deep gratitude to our teachers!
Nazarova Marina Viktorovna. This is a teacher from God. The child calls his group – my second family. Marina Viktorovna is a very sensitive and sympathetic person who will find an approach to every child. And what is probably the most difficult thing in the work of an educator is the approach to each parent. He is also a great teacher, and there are a lot of interesting projects in our group. Within the framework of these projects, children also learned how to work (the “Collect Toys” project), and grew vegetables (in the mornings they ran for a watering can in the group), and the “Kindness” project and others. It’s great, the child participates in such events with such enthusiasm and responsibility. And it also brings children and parents very close, because the whole family invents and creates something interesting. And this is not counting the daily interesting and informative activities in the group. Marina Viktorovna, we love you.
Nikulshina Olga Evgenievna. Thank you for discovering and developing in children the love of music. And what mornings are held in our garden !!! Every morning is a real holiday. Everything is so thought out and with a twist, and with humor, at the same time touching and fun. Olga Evgenievna is an inexhaustible source of ideas and energy. I wish you that this energy never ends.
And of course, what is a matinee without Elena Vladimirovna Marihina!? Each time Elena Vladimirovna, enchantingly appearing, delights, shocks and delights children and parents. Thank you.
I would also like to express my gratitude to Nina Mikhailovna Sokolova. For her love for children, for her sincerity, for the fact that Nina Mikhailovna knows the characteristics of each child. For always supporting and helping. For a graduation gift – a real delight for children. When Nina Mikhailovna is with children, it will certainly be exciting. With all my heart I wish you professional growth.
Thanks to Knyazeva Marina Nikolaevna for the professional testing of graduate children at the beginning of the year. Parents had the opportunity to pay attention and pull up those points that the parent himself might not have paid attention to. For exciting, creative activities with children. With the advent of Marina Nikolaevna, the experimentarium, the opening of which we have been waiting for so long, has been launched. The work of a psychologist is very important and necessary for children. This is especially acute in the early stages, when the child is just starting to go to the garden.
Thanks to all the staff at the garden, whose work remains behind the scenes, but is undoubtedly very important for the smooth running of the entire garden.
Julia
We, the team of parents of pupils of group No. 8 “Bees” of MDOU “Solnyshko”, express our deep gratitude to our educator Diana Dakostaevna Mokrova! We would like to note the high professionalism, pedagogical skills, sensitive attitude towards our children, care and responsibility.
Please accept our sincere gratitude for teaching our children to be friends and respect each other, to fantasize and create, to be kind, caring and honest. Our children are proud of their successes, achievements and discoveries!
We especially want to mention our matinees and performances! The kids are just transforming. Thank you for putting a piece of your soul into our children. We wish you good health, patience and pleasure from the results of your work.
We also thank the leadership of the MDOU d / s “Solnyshko” in the person of and. about. Director Udachina E.V. for a well-chosen team of professionals.
Sincerely, the parents of group No. 8 “Bees”
I want to express my deep gratitude to the wonderful educator, group 5, Galina Viktorovna!
Professional with a capital letter! Top notch teacher! Children are always on the job! Galina Viktorovna develops children in all possible areas! Conducts exciting and informative classes, finds an individual approach to each child! Every day my child tells me something interesting that happened in kindergarten! Preparing for high school! Write, read, count! for additional classes and did not have to go! Fabulous! We are very glad that we got to Galina Viktorovna! This is the best teacher ever! Thank you for your approach to children, kindness and understanding!
Svetlana
Many thanks to our teacher of the “Berry” group Dementieva Natalya Anatolyevna for the kindness and affection that she gives to our children! The children love her very much, they are happy to go to kindergarten. Natalya Anatolyevna is a very friendly, good person and teacher! We are very happy to have her in the group!
Daria
Hello! We go to group number 2 “Berries”. My son, Andrei, is happy to go to kindergarten! Our beloved teacher Natalya Anatolyevna takes care of our kids with patience and kindness! Wonderful crafts and drawings made by the hands of children are very pleasing to parents! The development of our kids is in good hands! THANK YOU SO MUCH to our teacher Natalya Anatolyevna Dementieva, as well as to our caring nanny Marina! I would also like to thank Marina Nikolaevna for interesting classes in the experimentarium and Olga Evgenievna for the musical development of children! We are very satisfied and glad that we go to this kindergarten! Thanks again EVERYONE!
Alina Kosareva
We have recently come to this kindergarten. From the first day, I am simply delighted with both the kindergarten itself and the people who work there. I have never met such a polite and attentive attitude in any kindergarten (my eldest son has changed several kindergartens, so I have something to compare with).
I want to thank our teacher Natalya Anatolyevna for her attention and such a warm attitude towards children. My daughter enjoys gardening very much. And this is a very big indicator.
Ekaterina
Good afternoon! I would like to express my deep gratitude to the teacher of the 2nd group “Berries” – Dementieva Natalya Anatolyevna, as well as our nanny – Marina. They are true professionals in their field: kind, responsive and fair. My daughter goes to the garden with great pleasure and talks about the fact that every day they do drawing, modeling from plasticine, learn to speak correctly, teach children to respect each other, listen to fairy tales, sing and dance (thanks to the music director for this). There is also a room in the garden – Experimentarium, where a psychologist works with children, and after each lesson, the daughter enthusiastically tells what they did and how they all had fun.
In general, I would like to note that the kindergarten has a very good material and technical base, the game material is constantly updated, all conditions have been created for the successful development and upbringing of children. The room is always warm and cozy. The children are fed tasty and satisfying (judging by the menu).
Such a wonderful atmosphere creates a friendly staff of the kindergarten “Solnyshko” and parents appreciate it!
Elena
Very satisfied with the garden. Good facility, great teachers. The child walks with pleasure.
Maria
My daughter, Tatyana, attends group 1 of the Lily of the Valley kindergarten. She has been going to this wonderful and cozy kindergarten for a whole year. In addition to a large play area in the kindergarten building, within its territory on the street, each group also has its own playground, which is always clean and equipped with a modern complex of children’s entertainment facilities, including swings, various slides and auxiliary equipment for outdoor games that develop children’s coordination and communication skills both among themselves and in contact with adults.
For the development and improvement of children’s creative abilities, in addition to compulsory classes, there is a large selection of additional circles: physical education, dancing, drawing, modeling and music. From an early age, our kids are taught the basic skills of behavior on the street and are told about the basics of the rules of the road (a real traffic inspector even came to the group).
In order to diversify life in the kindergarten, our wonderful and beloved teacher, Svetlana Evgenievna, organizes interesting cultural events every month: puppet theater, interesting and entertaining holidays, actively involving her young pupils in this process. My daughter likes these events very much, and she takes part in them with great pleasure. Svetlana Evgenievna photographs all the interesting and funny moments about our children and sends them to the parents of the children with comments using the WhatsUp messenger. Therefore, parents not only always know what is happening with their beloved children, but also a lot of interesting and funny photos appear for the family album. Svetlana Evgenievna is a highly qualified specialist, a talented children’s teacher and a very kind and sympathetic person who puts her whole soul into our children. My daughter goes to the group led by Svetlana Evgenievna with great pleasure, because thanks to the care and comfort she feels at home.
I want to express my deep gratitude to the leadership of our kindergarten and wonderful people who give their warmth to our children: the teacher Svetlana Evgenievna and the nanny Alla.
Irina
I would like to thank Diana Dakostaevna, teacher of group N8, and nanny Svetlana Evgenievna for their care and love for our children. I really like Diana Dakostaevna’s approach to children. With her arrival, my daughter began to eagerly attend kindergarten. She is great with children, they make crafts, gifts with their own hands for parents for the holiday. Thank you, we are very lucky to have you.
Alla
I want to express my deep gratitude to our teacher Elena Vladimirovna Marikhina and assistant teacher Natalya Vladimirovna Sobko.
I want to note their high professional level, sensitive attitude towards children, care, kindness and warmth. Elena Vladimirovna and Natalya Vladimirovna strive to make our children full-fledged individuals, active members of the children’s team, they teach us to be honest, kind, open and caring. They teach kids to be friends and respect each other, to create and fantasize.
In the dressing room of the group, the works of our children are constantly hung out, children’s crafts are exhibited. It also contains useful and interesting information for parents: how our children grow and develop, what activities they have during the day and what they eat.
During her stay in the kindergarten, my daughter Alice’s horizons have broadened significantly, her speech has been enriched, and a desire to learn something else has appeared. She became much more self-confident, more inquisitive. Alice has made many new friends, which is necessary for a child. Alice happily shows me her crafts, repeats what she has done with interest at home, goes to kindergarten with pleasure. At the entrance to the group we are met by caring and attentive teachers who are always polite and friendly.
Our educators conduct very interesting activities with children, trying to engage them in various activities and, in the aggregate, provide the child with a diverse personal growth. Step by step, children learn about the world around them, the joy of friendship, creativity, independent activity, learn their personal capabilities. Thank them for this.
Lapshina Maria Alexandrovna
I want to express my gratitude to the teacher of group N7 Elena Vladimirovna and nanny Natalya Vladimirovna for their attentive attitude towards our children, as well as for kindness, patience, for hard work and approach to each child. Thanks to them, beautiful morning performances, interesting exhibitions of children’s works are held. Their children are developing day by day. Thank you for always understanding parental wishes and requests.
Alla
Hello!
It’s good that our garden website already has a section for reviews, where we can express our opinions and emotions.
Having chosen the “Solnyshko” garden, I can confidently say that I was not mistaken. And we were especially lucky with our teacher. We are talking about the teacher of the 8th group Diana Dakostaevna Mokrova. Being a good educator, I think, is a vocation that is not given to everyone. Education theoretically gives knowledge, but this does not make you a good teacher. You need to understand children with your soul, love them strongly and accept them as your own child. They, breaking away from their families for several hours, accept the educator as a native person. Here, those who are in good hands will be lucky. In this case, we were lucky with our Diana Dakostaevna. You should have seen how the children talk about her with admiration and how they look forward to meeting her after the weekend. And for children, this is all sincere. They show what they feel.
Diana Dakostaevna holiday person. With her, children are never bored. She is a friend to them, and a caring soul, and an educator, and a leader . .. All this gives us, parents, to be calm for our crumbs.
And in the end, I’ll just say – thanks to the leadership of our garden and a huge THANK YOU to our teacher!
Lusy
We express our gratitude to Diana Dakostaevna and Svetlana Evgenievna for their attentive attitude towards children. Always friendly, very patient with children, have an approach to each child. We go to kindergarten with pleasure. Group 8. Thank you very much for your work.
Ruzanna
I want to express my deep gratitude to the teacher of the group number 8 Diana Dakostaevna Mokrova! Thanks to her, my slightly shy daughter fell in love with the garden and made many friends! I am very happy when a child says in the morning that he wants to go to kindergarten, because I cannot organize full-fledged communication with her peers at home. I believe that Diana Dakostaevna is a teacher from God! She is a very cheerful, kind person who really loves children. I am very glad that she works in our group.
Olga
We are very grateful to the teacher of group No. 6 Nazarova Marina Viktorovna. The son had problems with adaptation, they were even going to leave the kindergarten. But her sensitive, attentive attitude, kindness helped, and now he walks without tears and with pleasure. Thank you.
Julia
Many thanks to the teacher Marikhina Elena Vladimirovna and the nanny Sobko Natalya Vladimirovna of group No. 7!
My son happily goes to the garden in the morning, and in the evening he asks not to pick him up too early – that says a lot! They are very friendly and patient with children, they will always find an approach and agree with the child “not in the mood” (which even parents do not always succeed). I see how much they invest in our children!
In addition to developing and creative activities, children go to the swimming pool, sensory room, and music classes. Many thanks to the music director Olga Evgenievna Nikulshina! We are very pleased that we sent the child to the Sun!
Daria L.
Our son attends the 5th group of kindergarten Solnyshko! We are very grateful to our teacher Galina Viktorovna for her professionalism and, most importantly, for her warm attitude towards children!
Maria
We express our deep gratitude to you, our teachers Elena Vladimirovna (group No. 7) and Diana Dakostaevna (group No. 8).
I want to note your professionalism, sensitive attitude towards children, care, attention, kindness and warmth, individual approach to each family. The educational process is organized in such a way that all the little things of everyday life in society, in the family and in the team are taken into account. Children are happy to go to the garden, because there they will be met by their favorite teachers, with whom it is easy and interesting for them.
A warm and comfortable atmosphere reigns in the group thanks to understanding and equality. You teach our children to be friends and respect each other, to create and fantasize, to appreciate beauty, to be honest, kind, caring. Our children are proud of their achievements, they are happy to show us their crafts, they repeat what they did in kindergarten with interest at home. Step by step, under your strict guidance, children learn about the world around them, the joy of friendship, and their personal abilities. We fully trust you, because it is very important for a parent, when he leaves a child for almost the whole day, to know that his child is in good hands. We are calm for the life and safety of our guys, because next to them is a real team of professionals. We are very grateful to you. We are very lucky to have you!
Lusine Fedorovna
My daughter, Kantemirova K. attends the 1st group of the kindergarten “Solnyshko”.
I would like to express my gratitude for the attitude towards children, for the attention and kindness to our teacher Svetlana Evgenievna and our nanny Alla. Thanks to your warmth, our children go to the garden with great pleasure, talk about the past day with interest, and get bored at home.
Victoria Kantemirova
I want to express my deep gratitude to our teacher Kokleeva Svetlana Evgenievna and nanny Alla (group No. 1 “Lilies of the valley”).
I want to note their high professionalism, sensitive attitude towards children, care, kindness and warmth. Svetlana Evgenievna strives to make our children full-fledged individuals, active members of the children’s team, she teaches us to be honest, kind, open and caring. She teaches kids to be friends and respect each other, to create and fantasize.
In the dressing room of the group, the works of our children are constantly hung out, children’s crafts are exhibited. There is also useful and interesting information for parents: how our children grow and develop, what activities they have during the day and what they eat.
During his stay in the kindergarten, Sasha’s horizons expanded significantly, his speech became richer, and a desire to learn something else appeared. He became much more confident in himself, more inquisitive. Sasha is happy to go to kindergarten.
Svetlana Evgenievna conducts very interesting activities with children, trying to keep them busy with various activities. Step by step, children learn the world around them, the joy of friendship, creativity, and independent activity. Thank her for this.
Olga
We attend 1 group “Lilies of the Valley”.
The child is always fed, dressed in dry clothes, learns a lot of new things in kindergarten. Thank you very much to our teacher Svetlana Evgenievna and nanny Alla for their attentive attitude towards children, for their kindness, care and patience! They always talk about the day they spent, at any time you can write and find out how the child is doing.
We are happy with everything!
Olesya
Our son goes to the 1st Lily of the Valley group.
We would like to thank our teacher Svetlana Evgenievna and now Alla for their attentive attitude.
Thanks to them, the adaptation to kindergarten was very fast and painless. They are always in touch, very responsive, they will always tell you in detail about the day spent and what you should pay attention to in the behavior of the child.
We are satisfied with the kindergarten.
Margarita
Our group 6, teacher Nazarova Marina Viktorovna is the best teacher! She has a kindness and sensitivity and responsiveness to children. Children can share their experiences, little secrets, ask for advice and will always hear support in response and how to do the right thing in a given situation, and this is very important for children and us parents to know that children trust Marina Viktorovna. She spends a lot of interesting activities with children, trying to ensure that each child participates, and does not sit on the sidelines. Participates in their upbringing, teaches them to be friends and respect each other. Gives us parents some advice on what to pay attention to in education.

Anniversary panorama – Regional newspaper OGIRK.RU
Food fair, exhibitions of arts and crafts, concerts of folk groups. In Irkutsk, the Days of the Ust-Orda Buryat Okrug, dedicated to the celebration of its 85th anniversary, were celebrated on a grand scale.
Digit:
The structure of the UOBO includes six districts, where 126. 5 thousand people live.
From early morning on the square in front of the Trud Sports Palace, craftsmen arranged souvenirs in yurts and pavilions, artists sang near the stage, the flags of Russia, the Irkutsk region, UOBO and ancestral totems fluttered in the wind. Participants in national costumes were preparing for performances and presentations. The resinous smell of kitchen fires mingled with the subtle veil of the first autumn leaves. It seemed to smell like a steppe wind. On the grounds, the fellow countrymen who met met happily hugged each other, everyone was in a festive mood.
Congratulations and gifts
Days of UBO in Irkutsk have become a historic event and are held for the first time in the modern history of Russia. The previous event, which was called “Days of Culture of the Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous Okrug”, was held in 1987. And now, 35 years later, Irkutsk has provided its best venues for scientific, creative, and sporting events.
On behalf of the head of the region Igor Kobzev, the participants and guests were greeted by the First Deputy Governor – Chairman of the Government of the Irkutsk Region Konstantin Zaytsev :
– Today the regional government pays special attention to the district. The territory is developing dynamically, including in agriculture and tourism. And henceforth we will do our best to strengthen these areas and create all conditions for comfortable living in the district.
Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexander Vedernikov noted that the deputies of the regional parliament keep the issues of the development of the UOBO under control:
– The Ust-Ordynsky District cherishes the centuries-old traditions of the Buryat people, is sensitive to culture and language. This is what allowed the district to raise worthy sons and daughters – politicians, statesmen, agricultural workers, doctors, teachers, cultural figures.
Congratulating fellow countrymen and guests of the holiday, the head of the administration of the district Anatoly Prokopiev spoke about the achievements in the agricultural sector.
– Today there are 26 agricultural organizations, 57 cooperatives, 498 peasant farms, 40 thousand personal subsidiary plots. We produce 30% of the agricultural products of the Irkutsk region. Behind these figures are our countrymen, our people. And, of course, they need to create comfortable living conditions in the countryside.
Anniversary medals were awarded to those who distinguished themselves for their personal contribution to the socio-economic development of the district.
Creative Friendship of Peoples
The celebration continued with the concert program “Peoples as one – we are together for centuries”. The best amateur artists of the Ust-Orda Buryat District, who are in love with the culture of their people, performed on the stage. Therefore, neither folk songs nor dances become old or become a thing of the past.
The performance was opened by the artists of the legendary group “Steppe tunes”. The fire and passion of the musical composition “Sagaan tagsha” did not leave anyone indifferent.
Folk groups “Kazachka”, “Talyn duun”, “Yazhumbek”, “Grace”, “Khudayn Gol” were greeted by the audience with friendly applause. They also warmly welcomed the head of the Buryat folklore group “Talyn duun” Pyotr Modoev.
The Polish folklore group “Yazhumbek” from the Bohansk region performed the song “Take my heart”, which touched the hearts of the audience. The audience emotionally accepted the winner of the uligershinov competition, the owner of the gold medal of the International Festival “Altargana 2020”, the performer of odic poetry Gleb Bardamov and others.
Almost 250 laureates of international, all-Russian and interregional competitions showed Russian, Buryat, Tatar, Belarusian songs and dances.
– This creative festival simply captivated me, – Elena Presnyakova, a guest from the Moscow region, shared her impressions. – My friends and I came to Baikal for an autumn photo session, and by the will of fate we also got to listen to authentic folklore. The richest culture in your region!
Everything the districts are rich in
The attention of the guests of the festival was also attracted by the expositions of the districts.
– In our yurt you can get acquainted with the culture and way of life of the peoples living in the Ekhirit-Bulagat district – Buryats, Russians, Belarusians, Tatars, – said the head of the culture department of the administration Irina Molotkova. – We brought authentic antiques and national cuisine – loaf, darasun, mead, bulba and more.
The antiquity exposition was a mini-museum on the road. Unique things amazed the imagination: pillowcases of the 19th century, two-hundred-year-old irons. This heritage was preserved by the artists of the ensemble “Vesnyanki” from the village of Ahiny.
Nukut region celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.
– During this time, the appearance of the region, its economic and socio-cultural development has changed. But one thing remained unchanged – the attitude of people to their small homeland, – said the mayor of the district Sergey Gomboev.
The exposition of the Bayandayevsky district spoke in detail about education, culture, and healthcare. The exhibition of the Osinsky district was housed in a wooden yurt. Representatives of the municipality also spoke about the achievements. Housing for young professionals is being actively built in the district, kindergartens, schools, and sports facilities are being renovated.
– Remember, my dad, your grandfather Viktor Vasilyevich, worked in this Osinskaya school No. 1, – Natalia Ordina, a native of Osinskaya, showed school photos to her little son.
– What was your father’s job?
– School bus driver, took children for many years. I myself graduated from this school, now I live in Irkutsk. I came to the holiday to tell my son about my small Motherland. And nostalgia itself…
Alar anniversary
Alar region, which this year celebrated the 100th anniversary and 85th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous playwright Alexander Vampilov, launched the My Alar exhibition.
The chief bibliographer of the A. Vampilov Library Anastasia Shulunova said:
– We have prepared a book-album for the anniversaries, here you can see scientific collections, editions of poems and songs.
Books by well-known natives of the Alar land Anatoly Andreev, Petr Batorov, Radnaya Sherkhunaev were also in demand among the reading public. For the anniversary of the playwright, the local history museum has prepared souvenirs: magnets, pens, toys.
The Alarians told the guests of the holiday about the tourist potential of the territory – shamanic places, natural monuments, primordial water sources. In the area, the routes “Roads of Heroes”, “Flying on the Swan Wing” and others have been developed.
The village of Nygda is proud of the exhibition of dolls made by Nygda schoolchildren.
– A new luxurious school has been built in the village, where children have the opportunity to be creative. In addition, our guys are passionate about national sports: wrestling, archery, – said the head of the administration of the Nygda municipality, Irina Saganova.
With the support of the state
More than 40 enterprises and peasant farms took part in the fair of agricultural products of the district. The people of Irkutsk were happy to buy honey, milk, meat, and bread.
Today 68 family livestock farms of the Okrug received grants for construction, purchase of technological equipment, machinery, animals. An agricultural production cooperative from the Bayandaevsky district processes milk, produces butter, cottage cheese, and yoghurts.
– The company got its momentum four years ago thanks to a development grant from the regional Ministry of Agriculture. State support helps a lot, – said the chairman of the cooperative Sergei Matkhonov.
Cradle of talents
During the celebration of the district’s anniversary, master classes were held by artists and craftsmen on making leather, felt and wood products.
Many guests gathered at the site where the performance of the orchestra of Buryat folk instruments “Idyn-Gol” from the Bokhansky district took place. The exhibition of wooden icons by Alexander Shipnyagov, an artist from the Bokhansky district, also did not go unnoticed. The craftsman makes household utensils from wood, and his wife Tatyana makes flowers. Such a creative family contract.
Masters of the Ust-Orda Center of Folk Artistic Crafts presented amulets, amulets, tambourines, cult paraphernalia.
Sports battles
The festival of national sports and folk games gathered its fans. On the stage, there was an exciting competition “heer shaalga” (breaking the spinal bone) – an ancient Buryat-Mongolian type of traditional competition, where participants compete in the ability to break the spinal bone of cattle, horses and camels. This is a kind of national sport, the popularity of which is growing every day.
Gennady Khankhasov from the Nukut region, who became the absolute champion of the anniversary championship, has been breaking bones for about four years and competed in this sport on Altargan.
– Where does the interest in this activity come from?
– In my first bone-breaking competition, I competed with two brothers. They became winners, I was just gaining experience. For me, this sport is the revival of a tradition. I can’t convey the feeling when you break a bone, the process itself is a pleasure. And in order to break a bone, you need to unload emotionally, break it emotionally. The mood is important, and not just dexterity and skill.
A large delegation supported Gennady.
– When the harvest ended and the slaughter began, our ancestors were engaged in breaking the spinal bone. Guests were invited, and it was entertainment. For as long as I can remember, our fathers, probably our grandfathers, practiced this as well. The master who broke the bone so that it turned around and stuck into the ceiling was considered the most dexterous and lucky. This was considered the height of skill, – explained the head of the administration of the Novoleninsky municipality Vladimir Fedorov.
Those who wanted to try their hand at breaking bones spared no effort. It did not work for everyone. Next to the stage, the masters competed in the Buryat national game “Step Naadan”. Here, too, a master class was held with the participation of all comers.
The national archery was being fired at the Trud stadium. Master of sports Antonina Khaltanova from Osinsky district has been shooting for several years:
– Archery is the call of blood. In our district, national sports are developing dynamically – horse racing, wrestling, the game of Buryat chess “Shatar”.
Svetlana Tvorogova, an archery coach of the Bokhan Youth Sports School, was trying on near the target at a distance of 45 meters. Under her leadership, children under 18 train, they have their own “stars”.
The celebration of the anniversary of the Ust-Orda Buryat District has become a symbol of the unity of different generations, different nationalities, cultures and religions. From year to year, the district is getting prettier, growing and developing, while maintaining its unique historical appearance.

Volgograd doctor is on trial for the death of a patient behind closed doors
Today, September 13, the Svetloyarsky District Court of the Volgograd Region decided to consider a criminal case on charges of general practitioner Amir Giniyatov for the death of a patient from coronavirus in a closed regime. The journalist of the Vysota 102 news agency also failed to get to the meeting on the scandalous case, despite the wide public outcry.
Thus, Andrey Molyarov, chairman of the Svetloyarsky district court, did not consider the correspondent’s request to take photographs in the courtroom. And he did not inform the media representative about the satisfaction or rejection of the petition. The decision to transfer the session to a closed session was made behind the doors of the courtroom at the request of the victim Dmitry Bakaev and was supported by the prosecutor’s office on the basis that information about the health and diagnoses of his deceased mother would be announced during the process.
Meanwhile, today the court also considered the testimony of witnesses from the side of the victim and the defense. Since the court session turned out to be closed to journalists, the Vysota 102 news agency correspondent was not able to get acquainted with the position of the injured party and the prosecutor. In addition, the witnesses for the prosecution who were waiting to be called into the courtroom categorically refused to communicate with the journalist and forbade themselves to be photographed. Giniyatov’s relatives who came to court, in turn, shared their experiences and emotions with the correspondent. In particular, the mother of the defendant, Irina, spoke about the strong support from the local residents, who were treated and saved by her son.
“Complete strangers come to me, tell me how Amir once helped them, ask what they can do for us, worry about his fate,” says Irina. “We are shocked by this support and we are sure that the truth is on our side – my son only helped people, and what he is now being accused of is monstrous and unfair.
According to Irina, this case can be considered unprecedented even for Russia.
– In the Volgograd region, about 7,000 people died from the coronavirus during the 2.5 years of the pandemic, – the woman says. – So, hundreds of doctors should sit in the dock, but I don’t see overcrowded courts. For some reason, they decided to recoup on my son. I think they want to find Amir guilty so that his relatives can then sue us for a multi-million dollar lawsuit. But it would be better if they told why their beloved mother and wife were dying of the coronavirus all alone. Even the door had to be broken down to get into the house where her body lay.
Galina Isaenko, a resident of Svetly Yar, told her story to a news agency correspondent.
“I also had coronavirus, but apparently I didn’t quite understand that everything was so serious,” the pensioner recalls. – My condition worsened, and I went out into the yard to tie up the grapes. I left the phone at home and then I see how Amir drives up to my house. He was extremely alarmed – it turns out that the result of my test came back, which turned out to be positive. He could not get through to me and rushed in his car to take me to the hospital, because I also have diabetes. I thank him for raising the alarm in time. I recovered only because I followed all his recommendations in treatment. He saved my life and I know he helped so many.
Meanwhile, Amir Giniyatov is still under house arrest. By decision of the Svetloyarsky District Court, the preventive measure was extended in one fell swoop for the next six months. The doctor’s defense filed an appeal with the Volgograd Regional Court, disagreeing with this decision. However, lawyer Amir Giniyatov was not even informed about the date of consideration of the complaint, and on September 7 it was removed from consideration due to procedural violations.
Let us remind you that the preliminary hearing in the criminal case against general practitioner Amir Giniyatov took place on 2 September. On the eve of the meeting, the doctor’s wife, Yulia, was summoned to the police on the basis of a signal from an unknown person that, allegedly, she was calling for an unsanctioned rally in defense of her husband. However, Amir’s relatives experienced another shock when they came to the court on September 2 and saw numerous policemen and a paddy wagon.
– There was a feeling that the godfather himself, Don Corleone, would be brought to court, and not my son, a doctor who always had only one “weapon” – a stethoscope, – the doctor’s mother, Irina, almost cries.
As it turned out later, many residents of Svetly Yar, who had been his patients during the years of Giniyatov’s work at the Central District Hospital, wanted to come to court. But relatives had to call people and ask them to stay at home. In the Svetloyarsk Central District Hospital, according to Amir Giniyatov’s relatives, they also demanded that doctors not publicly express support for the doctor.
Earlier, Andrey Molyarov, chairman of the Svetloyarsky district court, rejected the doctor’s defense motions to exclude the disputed expert examination chosen by the investigation from the case. The judge also rejected the motion of the defense to return the criminal case to the prosecutor due to the inconsistency of the investigative measures carried out in violation of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Recall that several examinations were carried out in the case, and their results turned out to be diametrically opposed – experts from other cities saw a connection between the doctor’s actions and the patient’s death, and Volgograd experts did not find violations in the method of providing medical care. However, the investigation takes into account the results of a study conducted in Stavropol.
Amir Giniyatov was accused of the death of a woman who came to see him at the Svetly Yar polyclinic on August 6, 2020. According to investigators, the doctor did not provide the woman with proper assistance and did not send her to the hospital.
The doctor, in turn, insisted that he treated the patient, who came to him with a slight temperature, correctly, by referring her to a blood test and prescribing medication. On August 11, he again visited the woman at home on a call, making a preliminary diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia, sent her for X-rays and testing for coronavirus.
