Although, of course, there are many nuances, and it’s hard not to notice, let’s say that in the case of a black family, satire is for the time being rather good-natured, and in the case of a white one, it is definitely evil: Elisabeth Moss and her husband are weak-willed slaves of consumption, plastic surgery and their voice assistant, and even their children are unpleasant. Didn’t like it. The movie is weirder than scary. Beautiful shots and interesting tricks, but the plot goes to some heights, which by the middle of the film make you bored and look at your watch.

By default, I wanted to compare the film with the latest horror films A Quiet Place and Bird Box – they set the plan and watched them with interest.
