I was sitting in Jeremy’s room leafing through last year’s Men’s Heals magazines. It’s good that at least my best friend is following the news. Unlike all the guys, Jerry had good style and tact, he was just lovely, a thousand girls were after him, and I was the only lucky one who did not blush in his presence. Jeremy and I do not spill water, he jokingly calls me his little sister, and I, in turn, feel the participation of the “big brother” in life. Finally, I found my loving couple, though they were not sitting at the table, but dancing in a small hall. Some kind of slow tune was playing, and I immediately noticed Jeremy and Vanessa among the others. The girl snuggled up to Jerry, wrapping her arms around his neck, he whispered something to her, they just glowed with happiness. I pressed myself against the wall opposite the dance floor and began to watch them intently, not taking my eyes off. Suddenly, a strange feeling came over me. “That’s all” – suddenly flashed through my head. I was left alone. I no longer have a best friend, Jeremy will now be much more interesting with Vanessa, and not with me. He will start to move away from me, because he will have other plans, other interests.
