Starlet Kindergarten in Yerevan. — 58 answers

I called the Starlet kindergarten and interrogated the principal. I was satisfied with the answers.
+ They have a nurse. She and the chef make the menu. Meat is eaten every day.

+ In any weather and season, they walk outside, except for rain. 2 times a day.
0.0.$end:0:$text3:0″/>
+ If a child refuses to eat what is offered, they have an alternative.

+ their classes include dance, art and languages.

+ are prepared for school from the age of 5.

+ there is transportation of children by minibus. Children sit in chairs fastened, accompanied by a teacher. For this, a separate fee of 15 thousand (32 USD). Full day 90 thousand drams (190 USD).
Dasha falls into the middle group.

+ Kindergarten is already 20 years old.

You need to enroll in a queue.

Their program runs from September to July. A set of new children is also being formed by September. No new children are accepted during the year. We called them in the fall – then they told us that there were no places.

+ in a group (any) 6 children!

Today we were in the kindergarten. Without Dasha. They asked questions and looked around the garden.

+ for lunch: first, second and compote. (and not as happens in other kindergartens, no meat days and only soup for lunch).

+ each lesson is held in a separately equipped classroom: English, Russian, Armenian, creativity, assembly hall (there is music and dancing), mathematics class.

+ on the first floor there is a kitchen, an assembly hall, a creative class (there are no bedrooms on the first floor).

+ separate toilet for boys and girls (I think this is very correct, especially for children from 5 years old), the staff on another floor.

+ if a child does not sleep during the day, they do not put him down, he is engaged with the same children who do not sleep. This is taken into account. Or the kids go on field trips. We do not sleep, for us it is a huge plus.

+ a questionnaire is created for each child (you can imagine my joy when I heard this)

+ there is a psychologist, a speech therapist in Russian and Armenian. They also keep their records in the child’s profile. (in many Armenian kindergartens there is no nurse, not to mention a speech therapist or psychologist)

+ there are open lessons, you can come just to watch classes

+ they develop all the manuals themselves (with their designers) and print the logo of the kindergarten on all notebooks. everything looks attractive and high quality. assignments are interesting.

+ the courtyard is divided into sections of no larger size, but given that there are 6 children in a group, there is enough space for them to play. each group plays separately. There is a living area. There is a rabbit and pigeons, there is a swing, there is where to ride bicycles, water flowers, there is sand, grass, trees, in the summer a pool for 6 children ….

+ the new year starts in September with a new group everyone has a program for the year. (I think this is very correct). Therefore, children are not accepted in the middle of the year and they learn to adapt together. Therefore, to get into the kindergarten you need to register as early as possible.

+ there is a group where everyone is in Russian and they teach English, and there is a Russian-speaking group in which they teach both English and Armenian (we are going to this one). The groups are also divided by age and whether the child sleeps during the day or not is taken into account. It turns out that classes, in the yard, at the table, the child goes with his group, and a quiet hour with children from other groups who also do not sleep. And home, if you go by their minibus, you will go with other children.

+ Sick children are not admitted to the kindergarten, each child is examined by a doctor. If he is sick or can infect other children, he is in the doctor’s office until his parents pick him up (I could not believe my ears).

+ buses that carry children they have several. It depends on the area. We live in the center, which means that the child will be picked up by a bus that picks up children from the center. There are two such buses – they are small for 11 and 15 seats. Each child has his own place. The children are fastened, the teacher is traveling with them.

We signed up. Dasha will start driving in September. So far, I have not seen any shortcomings, nothing shocked me and the kindergarten meets my “overestimated” requirement. Everything is thought out, everything is taken into account. And we’ll live there – we’ll see)).

– far from our house. We considered that it is more profitable for us to use the service of transporting children than to transport the child ourselves. Considering that my husband is often on business trips, and we are waiting for replenishment, then every day by taxi – it comes out much more expensive and it is not comfortable with a baby).

– at first glance, the garden seems very confusing, but after examining everything carefully, everything becomes clear.

– many steps))
– kitchen-studio. but this is a common practice in many Armenian gardens and apartments as well.

plus:

+ they did not try to please me (except for communication in Russian), the kindergarten has its own policy. its own methodology. this year they turn 20 years old.

+ There are lamps for disinfection in the classrooms.
+ children of acquaintances who graduated from this kindergarten, read and speak 3 languages, are well prepared for school.
+ the kindergarten concludes an agreement with the parents for a year (not a single kindergarten offered us this))). I did not notice
+ plasmas and TVs.)) and even forgot to ask.

I didn’t look at the bedroom because my child doesn’t sleep during the day.
