Note on Deficiencies
Deficiencies are listed in broad categories and are available online for 36 months. We encourage you to contact your region office for an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or for additional information about this facility’s compliance. Resolved “On Site” means that a violation was resolved during the Licensing Specialist’s inspection.
Severity Levels
High:
These are the most serious violations of child care regulations and could pose a risk to the health and safety of children. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Medium:
These are significant violations of child care regulations and could negatively impact the health and safety of children. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Low:
These violations are the least likely to impact health and safety, but they still show that a facility is out of compliance with some child care regulations. If you would like an explanation of any of the deficiencies, or would like additional information about this facility’s compliance, please contact your regional office.
Note on Frequency of Inspections
Centers, Group Homes, and Licensed Family Homes::
In 2014, legislation was passed that changed the number of unannounced visits from two per year to one per year in Child Care Centers, Group Child Care Homes, and Licensed Family Child Care Homes. As a result of this new law, you may see a decrease in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for these types of providers. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint, and visits are scheduled with the facility during the re-licensing process, which occurs every two years.
Registered Family Homes:
Most family homes are registered, not licensed. In 2014, legislation was passed that allows Child Care Licensing to make one unannounced visit to these homes each year. As a result of this new law, you may see an increase in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for Registered Family Child Care Homes. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint. Click here for an overview of each facility and the requirements they must meet according to state law.

Helping You Exceed Expectations
Our aim is to create a program that engages and interests every single child. We strive to make learning fascinating by helping children accomplish challenges and exceed their goals in a caring and supportive environment.
Changing the World
About Our Learning Center
Ever since 2002, Little Angels Learning Center Of Chicago has been providing children with a rich and diverse learning environment. Our unparalleled teaching methods help to launch children into the successful future they have always dreamed of. We always encourage both staff and children to grow, learn and create each passing day.
Little Angels offers a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore and learn. Children are given educational activities each day. Each program follows a curriculum that works to develop small and large motor skills, phonemic and phonological awareness, math concepts, sight word recognition, reading fluency, and to gain a better understanding of the world they live in. Little Angels also teaches children Spanish through song, reading, culture experiences, and so much more!

Testimonials…
“I’m so happy to have found such a caring, enriching environment for my little guy to learn and play in. Thank you, Little Angels team, for all that you do!”
Laura Patterson
“All three of my children have attended Little Angels Learning Center. Currently, my youngest is enrolled and our experience has been nothing but positive. Great teachers and a loving/caring atmosphere. They are always looking for ways to improve the already top-notch quality of Little Angels. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day and comes home singing new songs and sharing what she has learned in the classroom. Thanks Little Angels for all that you do!”
Carol Leiva
I just wanted to take a quick moment to say how much I love this little school and how much I love knowing that my girls are in your care every day. I love your professionalism, the hearts of every staff member, the incredibly detailed and thorough programming, and all of the effort that you all obviously put into making this place wonderful. It shows. All of your effort shows. I have been with you for a few years now and don’t say often enough how much I appreciate you. Thanks again for taking such great care of my kids and for loving on them every day.

“Little Angels is definitely a home away from home. My daughter has been attending Little Angles for the past 4 years and not once have I receive a call from them stating that she has been injured or that anything bad has happen to her. I can go to work/school without any concerns or worries because I know she is in a good place with great people and in good hands.”
Carmen Corona
“I am so happy I found such a wonderful place for my little guy. This place is just awesome! My 3 y/o is learning to read, write and count. Imagine my surprise as he reads the names of the crayons from his crayola box. I’m thrilled that he is learning some Spanish. Within 2 weeks of attending here, my little guy was potty trained! I can’t express how relieved I was about this. He has so much fun here, he’s made lots of sweet little friends. I just adore all the teachers who are so caring and really patient. They are the real gems of this place. I can tell they love what they do. It is so organized, they communicate very well with me as a parent. I feel so at ease knowing my child is in great hands. Gosh I can go on and on about how amazing this place is. I am so blessed to have them in my neighborhood. I highly recommend Little Angels. ♡♡♡”
“My daughter was in Little Angels for 3 years. In those 3 years she has grown to love the Little Angels family. They have established routines and expectations that really help little children thrive. They also make you feel like a family with all of the activities that they plan throughout the year such as a thanksgiving potluck, Holiday Concerts , movie nights and so forth. She is now in elementary school and I can say that the preparation from Little Angels has her at the top of her class! I would recommend Little Angels to my family and friends without hesitation.”

“My daughter has attended PACC since she was 3 months old and is sadly moving on to 1st grade. Luckily, my two younger children are still attending PACC. This has been the best choice for our family, knowing our children are in the best of hands while my husband I are at work. I highly recommend this child center – the facility is well kept & clean, the teachers will love your children like their own and they are very accommodating to your needs!”
Elizabeth G.PARENT
“My daughters were there from about 6 months until they turned 3 last August. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. I was extremely picky when searching for day cares and I only heard about this day care through a casual conversation with a work colleague. I visited many of the allegedly “best day cares”/( expensive) and none of them compare to Precious Angels at all. Dan and Laura were amazing to us. Our girls still talk about their teachers. Ms Shereen, Ms Jay, Ms Sharon, Ms Donna, etc. and so many more were amazing. I only changed schools because we moved a considerable distance away. If you are considering coming here, do not hesitate, just do it!”
Donald R.PARENT
“I can’t believe I am even writing this review. It means that 4 1/2 years have passed in the blink of an eye and it is time for us to move on from wonderful PACC. We were referred to PACC from several friends whose children also spent their first years there and that mattered to me. I recommend you tour the facility when you first find out you are having a baby, there will be a waitlist, which is reassuring in and of itself.”

Cus was bewilderedly flapping his bright blue wings that had stuck together from the paint and thought whether to cry or not, while the two older brothers – poisonous green and bright red, cursed with bad words and tried fold your wings.
– Gabrie-fir! Michael suddenly yelled loudly, apparently losing his temper. His age was so … Hormonal. Lucifer rolled his eyes and chuckled skeptically.
– Of course, I hate you all, but maybe we will answer this asshole?
Michael nodded without thinking, and two pairs of eyes stared at Cas, who, after a couple of minutes of hesitation, also decided to join the vengeance front.
***
The “Sweet Revenge” mission took place the same night. It turned out that feathers absorb food coloring quite well, so Michael, without stinting on his own imagination, painted Gabriel’s wings into a rainbow. In the morning, Lucifer’s line near the door also did its job, and Gabe flew a good 5 meters across the floor before crashing into the wall and dropping a bucket of water on his head. But the last straw was Castiel’s evening ink candy…
Twister
Castiel neatly spread a spotted rug on the living room floor and folded his hands lovingly, glowing with delight. Gabriel had long promised to bring this thing from the human world, and now the youngest was bursting with happiness. Gabe, on the other hand, was openly having fun, eating up the 5th lollipop in a row.
– What, Anna, Raphael and Uriel no longer count? he asked Michael, who was taking everything else out of the box.
– They are watching TV. – dryly replied the elder and angrily looked at Lucifer, lounging on the sofa – But you were not called.
– And you never call me. – snapped the younger and for the hundredth time in a day, showed his brother a forked tongue.
– It’s more fun… – Cas mumbled softly and placed a board with an arrow next to the rug.
– I will twist! – Lucifer readily volunteered, immediately jumping off the couch and snatching the board from Cas.
– Only 15, and already a dictator. Gabe laughed and stood up on the rug. – So, Michael, you – here, and you Cas – here, here. And now…
After 15 minutes, Lucifer realized that his brothers did not see where the arrow was pointing, which means that it was possible to break away quite well.
– Yellow left leg. Yellow right leg, yellow left arm…
– It can’t all be yellow! – Michael was indignant, practically sitting on the splits, while Gabe leaned over him with a bridge. Cas was generally shriveled, but the boy was having fun from the bottom of his heart.
– Not a red leg… just not… – Gabe whispered and Lucifer loudly announced:
– Red left leg!
The roar of the collapsed pyramid shook the living room, and Lucifer, laughing contentedly, hastened to dump into the corridor.
– All. I don’t play with him anymore. – Gabe drawled resentfully and put another lollipop in his mouth, frankly lounging on his brother. Castiel continued to laugh.
Offended
Michael rushed through the corridors of Paradise in a panic, trying to find his lost brother – he was still very young, he didn’t know how to fly and, every now and then, disappeared, corny, not knowing where to go. And now, even in the morning he was seen at breakfast, and now the trail has disappeared.
– Castiel! – loudly called the young man, starting to massage his own temples. It’s good that he is the eldest mentor from Gabriel, like a ballerina from a boxer, so dad decided to rely on Michael in everything. – Castiel! – the guy repeated and turned at the next turn. The brother showed up in the garden of some old artist who did not even notice the presence of two angels in his own paradise. The boy hid under the bench so that only the tips of the wings protruded from there, which he had not yet learned to hide. – Castiel… what happened? – very softly said the elder, sinking to his haunches. The younger one, in response, crawled out of his shelter and abruptly hugged his brother, hugging him with his wings, poking his wet nose into his chest, and began to sob softly. – Well, well … – Michael soothingly stroked Castiel’s wings and smiled. – What happened? Raphael bullied you again? – the tone became a little rougher.
– Lu…Lucifer. Castiel sighed and began wiping his eyes with his hands. Michael gently took his hands in his hands, showing that rubbing his eyes is not worth it – it’s unpleasant, but the name of the offender clearly set up a good brainwashing for the latter.
– What, Lucifer?
– Lucifer said that I’m a shmakodyavka and look like … – Castiel sobbed loudly again and almost burst into tears, calmed down by his brother in a new way.
– On?
– For fish, aqua … akuva … aquari-um-well-yu. – the youngest almost croaked, resentfully buried in Mackle’s shoulder. – He said that I have eyes … big …
Michael rolled his eyes, mentally promising himself to catch Lucifer and, with his father’s permission, of course, beat him personally.
– Did he see himself in the mirror? – the young man chuckled, picking up Cas in his arms and letting out his wings. The younger immediately stopped crying, fascinated by watching his brother in true awe. He loved it very much when Michael released his wings – he looked at them and dreamed that he would have the same ones – six snow-white, gigantic wings. – See? And his feathers are falling out! – Michael laughed and gently threw Castiel up, watching as he begins to flutter his wings and, nevertheless, gaining height. He couldn’t fly at your age! Michael continued to motivate his brother and took off after him. – Let’s fly home, and I’ll talk to Lucifer.
Two silhouettes drowned in the bright sun to the accompaniment of the rustle of wings, and a few seconds later Lucifer came out from behind a tree and showed them a forked snake tongue after them, folding his arms over his chest.
– But my horns are cut!!!
Heavenly Dining Room
In the Heavenly Dining Room today betlam,
You have never seen such a mess.
Throwing food, spaghetti machine gun,
This is how growing children have fun.
Real angels, charm, well, nyashki,
Pants in porridge, shirts in compote.
No. 2 Squadron rushed into battle,
Lucy and Michael spread their wings.
Sausages, cutlets,
Porridge, carrots and even biscuits flew into battle!
Existing angels, if not for this,
They sat down to eat, and the end of the world came.
Musical
Looking into the dining room, the father did not expect to see the apocalypse, but his eyes definitely did not lie – the whole room from floor to ceiling was smeared with what had recently been lunch, and a crowd of schoolchildren, howling some kind of military anthem, closed in a ring around the two “stars” of today’s show. Michael pompously wiped mashed potatoes from his cheek and clenched his fists, singing:
– That’s it! I lost my temper, my brother!
Now I won’t hesitate to deal with you!
The show slowly turned into a musical, and the front rows even began to sing along on the second parts and backing.
Lucifer grinned and flapped his wings, brushing drops of compote with prunes into the crowd, which made the girls delighted with the amount of pathos in one movement.
And away we go.
– Small intestine.
– I’ll prove it!
– I’m stronger!
– I’ll take a look!
– Calls the blood in me in a victory call! – the younger took the top note and the crowd hummed admiringly, moving to a more disturbing rhythm.
– You started everything!
– Maybe I am.
– Now the war!
– Yes, I am a snake.
– War! Split! And don’t start panova!
Spreading their wings, the brothers began to move in smooth movements, forcing the crowd to part and give them more space, the guys, like cats, tried to intimidate each other, nevertheless, singing the following terms in unison:
– Now the war! Split now!
Key lost, door closed.
And now we can’t turn back!
Now fire! Now fire!
Outside – ardor, through the veins – heat,
What was burned is smoldering forever.
– And now we …
– Do not turn.
– Back.
Michael finished and, taking a deep breath, folded his wings, raising his guilty eyes to his father.
– Well… – Lord, folded his arms over his chest and frowned. – You sing well, but the dining room also needs to be cleaned.

When not to send your child to kindergarten
Many parents after the birth of a child forget that their direct responsibility is to raise a child and instill in him basic skills for further socialization. They believe that the main thing is to build a career, and let the kindergarten teachers bring up the child, where he needs to be sent as soon as possible. This is fundamentally wrong. However, we will consider the issues of raising children by parents in future publications, and today let’s try to figure it out, why you should not send your child to kindergarten if there are some, quite serious, in my opinion, reasons.
So, the reasons that hinder the adaptation of a child in kindergarten
1. A baby has appeared in the family, who now needs more attention and his mother has little time for his older brother or sister. If, under such circumstances, a child is taken to a kindergarten, he will feel unnecessary, he will decide that they are trying to get rid of him, because now they do not love him, but a new small family member. This situation will only complicate the entry of the child into the kindergarten group. The child must be prepared for the birth of a brother or sister in advance, explaining that the baby will require the care and attention of an older brother (or sister), and later, when the child grows up, he will be able to play with him, teach him a lot as an older and adult. A child can be sent to kindergarten no earlier than six months after the birth of the baby, when he gets used to him and is sure that his parents have not stopped loving him.
2. Parents get divorced. The fact that dad leaves home forever, the child sees his guilt: “I behaved badly, did not obey, so dad stopped loving me.” For a child, this is a tragedy. And if the mother also gives him to other people’s aunts in a strange house, which is called “kindergarten”, then for the baby this will mean that the mother decided to leave him. The child will experience this stress very difficult, which can affect his health. During and immediately after the divorce, the mother should take care of the child with much more love and affection than it was before, and the father, as often as possible, should come to the child, assuring him that he still loves, he will just spend the night in another place. As soon as the child calms down and gets used to such a situation, and this will happen not earlier than in three to five months, the question of kindergarten can be raised.
3. Family recently moved (less than one or one and a half months). The scale of the change is not too obvious, only the apartment or city has changed, but the child must accept these changes and adapt to new conditions, get used to new walls, new furniture, new people who surround him – neighbors, children on the playground in the yard; perhaps reconcile that the grandmother is now far away and will no longer see him every day. Such addiction is easier, since mom and dad are nearby, along with the child, but imposing two changes in life: moving and entering a kindergarten is not worth it from the point of view of maintaining health in order to avoid stress.
4. If one and a half or two and a half months after the child starts attending kindergarten , parents plan a vacation , that is, he will not go to kindergarten for two to six weeks. Consequently, after such a long break, the adaptation begins again, the child must again get used to all the features of the kindergarten. Therefore, it is better to plan the first entry of a child into a kindergarten after a vacation.
5. The child does not know how to do anything on his own and the parents want the teacher to teach their child how to dress, wash, hold a spoon and fork in his hands and use the toilet. Both the teacher (who has an angelic character and should not do this) and the children, who usually clearly notice the mistakes of others, will laugh at such an unadapted beginner. You should not make a laughingstock out of your child and contribute to the formation of an inferiority complex in him. It is better to teach the child everything in advance or wait a little with the arrival in kindergarten, wait for the natural mastery of the necessary everyday skills and abilities. If a child can learn anything in kindergarten, it is games and communication with peers.
6. The child has recently had a serious illness and is very weak. Wait, strengthen the health of the child. As soon as immunity improves, you can gradually introduce him to kindergarten.
We examined the main reasons that prevent a child from easily adapting to kindergarten . Their list, of course, can be expanded, because each child also has individual characteristics.
Dear parents, weigh the pros and cons, be careful when deciding whether when it is worth sending a child to kindergarten in order not to discourage him from attending a preschool institution with joy and not to inflict irreparable psychological trauma on him.

Children approach the table with a globe on it.
Educator: Guys, what is the name of this item?
Children’s answers. (Globe)
Educator: Correct. This is a model of our planet Earth. What is on the globe?
Children’s answers. (Oceans, continents, seas…)
Educator : Who created all this?
Children: God.
Children sit on chairs.
Educator: Earth, people, sun, moon, stars, seas, oceans, birds, fish, animals – all this was created by God. But besides the visible world, God created the invisible world. It turns out that there are many things in the world that are very important to us, which we cannot see and touch. For example, do we see air?
Children: no.
Educator: How pleasant it is to take a deep breath and feel the aroma of fresh air! (Breathing exercises). Although we cannot see air, we cannot live without it.
Who lives in the invisible world that God created? Angels are invisible spirits who serve God and carry out His orders. The word “angel” means “messenger”.
Heaven is the home of angels.
Do you know how people portray angels?
Children: with wings, dressed in white.
Educator : People depict angels as beautiful young men with wings as a sign that they quickly fulfill the will of God, fly.
Listen to the poem and answer the question: what angel is it talking about?
My dear Angel!
You are with me all the time:
You keep me safe during the day
And you don’t sleep at night.
He follows us here and there
Walks quietly on our heels
Invisible kind, sensitive
No time to rest.
He prays to God with all his strength,
So that he would forgive us all,
And in matters to help
Our Heavenly Father is God.
We live peacefully with him
Do you remember his name?[1;70]
Children: Guardian angel.
Educator: The guardian angel is next to a person day and night, protecting him from troubles and misfortunes, bad thoughts and bad deeds.
Next, the children examine the drawing in the anthology “Good World” book 4, p.69.
Educator : When and why does God give a person a guardian angel?
Children’s answers.
Educator : Listen to the poem “Angel”
You have an Angel of God
Bright, faithful, best friend
He will always come to the rescue,
If something happens suddenly.
An angel is next to you
And invisibly guards you,
And when you are disobedient,
He is upset and sad.
From stubborn and liars
An angel can move away
And you won’t find such a friend in the whole world
.
Children’s answers. (When we disobey, deceive, get angry, offend others…)
Educator: Think about what your deeds and deeds please the Angel?
Children’s answers.
Educator: A person should always remember his Guardian Angel, do not offend Him, do not push Him away, and then He will always help. And all Christians turn to their guardian angel with a prayer: “Holy Angel of God, my guardian, pray to God for me.” Let’s all learn this prayer together.
And now each of you will try to draw your Guardian Angel.
